The staff on duty, Mans, did all he could to keep us happy or should I say keep us from complaining. The necessary 'up-grade' to a Getaway cabin provided an escape from the screaming kids from the deaf family that was camping besides our Yurt. (screaming long after the quit hour of 11pm and endless crying during the night). I was happy we didn't come for the pool: it was under construction. But poor people there with kids.

The beds were sofa's that we had to set up ourselves, (of the cheapest make possible) make the beds, by picking out sheets from unmarked bags. We considered for a moment taking the bunkbeds, but they had the plastic lining to protect the matras of which kids probably won't complain but adults of course do. Apart from making the beds, you are supposed to get the sheets off ánd sweep the floor. If not done, you would get a fine. Well the floor was clean were you walked, but looking past those paths, no one had touched that in a long time. For $234,- a night I had expected a clean space and some service. After setting in, the problems started: The shower couldn't be adjusted to a good temperature. So it was either very cold or burning hot. The toilet was leaking after flushing. After the repairs the next day the shower was fine for the moment, a new tap had to be brought in. But it appeared that the toilet was clogged. Then it became clear that the previous visitor had already reported this problem and that the whole area where the Yurts were was having a clogged sewage system. So much for transparency. Staff told us they had tried to call us the whole day to inform us about this misfortune, but I didn't had a missed call. Anyways, we were offered a Getaway cabin for 4 people, where 2 beds were on a 'crawl on attic'. This building wouldn't probably stand construction norms; even for kids it wasn't possible to stand straight up. We were told the manager would arrange the cost (?) with us the next morning upon departure, but the person on duty then told us there was nog manager for this campsite, only an assistent manager, who was supposed to come in only in the afternoon, as he always did. So a note was left for him to call us, which, not to my surprise, didn't happen.
