It was definitely oceanfront with an awesome view, very quiet and quaint, and also very clean. It is a great relaxing hotel for a peaceful getaway. The housekeeping lady with the Caribbean accent was really warm and welcoming. She was definitely my favorite staff member. You could tell she was passionate about her job.

It's far from fast food places and of course the local restaurants are a bit pricey. The kitchen was closed, so breakfast wasn't an option at all. The bathroom was small and didn't have a tub, only a shower, so it may be inconvenient for families traveling with kids that require bathing in tubs. The fitness area was closed, but it was not a huge issue unless you planned on working out. I did run into a huge mistake on the hotels part. They accidentally issued my room out to another family on our 2nd day stay. They family was able to use the key and attempt to open the room door. It did unlock, but because I travel with small kids, I made sure to put the latch on, which is how they weren't able to physically step into the room. The family apologized, which wasn't their fault. I did call the front desk and let them know what happened, and they apologized as well. Mistakes happen, but at this day and age, that situation could've easily been a different unfortunate situation. Safety is definitely a huge priority of mine when traveling, especially with my children.

It’s not a big deal but Wi-Fi is only in the lobby area. And we went on St Patrick’s day weekend so we were hoping the restaurant or bar might be open but it wasn’t.

The Breakfast was very good...loved the pancakes and the gravy and the potatoes where great...loved every bite...But we had dinner and it was not good at all..We ordered shrimp and fries and the shrimp was like rubber very chewy and the fries tasted like old oil...and both where cold...and we had one waitress and she was busting her ass to keep up with everyone..felt sorry for the waitress...need more staff for dinner shift asap....we love pine Knolls shore inn and will not be eating dinner there ever again...but will eat breakfast...😋

The view from our hotel room was amazing. Staff was helpful and friendly. Overall a great experience!

They were a little understaffed, but did their best to accommodate. Restaurant was closed because of this, but they did take out. Food was really good!

The pool was very nice, clean, nice loungers. The room was fine, comfortable bed. Good location. Great that beach chairs are provided and umbrellas are as well for a fee.

The restaurant left a lot to be desired. We stopped in on our second day for lunch, and my husband's sandwich had a bug in it. The waitress had it remade and took it off our bill... but. The pool bar was great when it was open! 3 of the 4 days there, it didn't open when it was supposed to.

Overall cleanliness of the place wasn’t great. Slippery floors in common area. Overflowing trash cans outside. The pool was dirty. Even though rooms were non smoking the grounds were not? People smoking on balconies and pool area.

Everything was wonderful! Friendly people, clean pool and the property gave you beach chairs and umbrella for the beach!

Sitting on the balcony watching the ocean and people. Everybody seemed pretty laid back... The atmosphere was perfect for us. Bouncing back and forth from the pool to the beach.

One evening, after being at the beach / pool most of the day listening to the live music and having a "few" cocktails, we planned to go to the restaurant for dinner. When we came down, it was not open for several people had called in. Wasn't real happy, but we dealt with it and had pizza delivered. The same thing happened the next evening, but we had already planned to go off site for dinner. That is the only reason I gave the 9 rating.

Every room has a balcony which faces the ocean. The staff was friendly and helpful, the lobby and rooms were very clean.

we stayed here because the hotel had a lounge and restaurant but the lounge was not open due to renovations which I wish they had told us when i booked. the restaurant was ok it was right on the water front which was nice .

I’ve always loved the Inn. I’ve been going there since I was a little girl with my family. It’s always been amazing when I stay, especially now since they have renovated it.

There was nothing that I didn’t like. I would say when we stayed there the fire alarm went off both nights in a row which got super annoying but it wasn’t the staffs fault, just the people staying in the rooms own stupidity.

I love the proximity to the beach, having a restaurant and lounge on site. Also very clean!!

For elderly the bathrooms are not great. Toilets are very low to the ground and there were hot water issues.

Loved the tile floors (no carpet!), cleanliness and spaciousness of room, ocean front balcony.

The shower head was clogged (hard water?), very low water pressure, and the bed was way too firm for me so I didn't sleep.
