Location, space in the room, the breakfast was amazing.

Not what I expected for the price of $500 for only one night, parking should have definitely been included in that price. Not an extra charge. Also I was uninformed that I would be charged an additional $100 for accidentals upon arrival, I have yet to see that money back and am still waiting on an emailed receipt from the front desk. It’s almost been two days. The blow dryer stopped working after 5 minutes of use, no fan in the bathroom, the little vent above the shower was disgustingly dirty. No trash bags anywhere and only one very small trash can in the bathroom without anything lining it.

Location was wonderful

Wasn’t worth the price of the room (over $500 one night and over $600 the other). The room was fine but small (“superior” king) - there was a significant amount of road noise that kept us awake. We had to request that our room be serviced. Just overall did not feel special or at all aligned with the price we paid. The location was the highlight but there is another hotel across the street for a fraction of the price

The entire hotel is beautiful.

The traffic noise could be heard from the rooms facing the front of the hotel. Ask for a room on the back of the hotel.

Breakfast was simple but excellent. Interesting that we had to move to two different tables to find a clean one. They should use placemats to avoid sticky tables. The breakfast staff was excellent and friendly. The location is ideal and this is a popular hang-out for drinks, dinner, and music. I love to stay in hotels and check out the rooms. We really enjoyed Room 218 as it had a large terrace that was more private than our neighbors. Rooms 216 to 213 all seem excellent with 213 having more exposure to the street noise. Avoid 217.

We had some issues with room cleaning and even after a visit to the front desk we did not have any cleaning until the end of our second day. It seems that the front desk staff was not too concerned. The facility is starting to age and the required maintenance is not happening. Items like the sliding screen door jammed and damaged from guests trying to use it. Cigarette burns on the patio furniture are not what you expect from a hotel of this quality/expense. Finally, the carpet tiles are lifting in the room. They are a couple of steps away from being embarrassed by the lack of maintenance, or they should be. As mentioned, at breakfast we had to move to two different tables to find a clean one.

The location is super easy for walking around town especially in the summer. The beds were especially comfortable and the rooms well thought out, had great storage and were really clean.

breakfast needs MUCH better coffee(! get an espresso /cappuccino maker! ) and the price with all the extra taxes (adding up to 19 percent !) too high
