The nature and the peace that comes from it
No AC at the main bedroom ,only a small one in the living room could not sleep was torching hot, no lights around the house, need to use my car headlights to see where to go

Wonderful staff. Hiram let us check in early after long flight and travels (and check out late). We had the pool to ourselves. There is also a creek through the property and paddle boats. Very relaxing.

Loved it all but especially the screened in porch with seating and small table. They also have fire pit, picnic table, BBQ. Full kitchen is great. It was quiet at night. Although the setting is deep woods, the town is close by for restaurants and many will deliver. The cottage itself was cozy and cute. The owner made us feel like old friends.

This was a great location, 15-20 mins in either direction to restaurants and Shawntee mountain.
This property was outdated, dirty and smelled awful!! We arrived to the smell of stale cigarettes, a dead mouse in the outside trash can, left over food particles, snacks and even an eyelash on the shower curtain...just nastiness in every room of the cottage. Interesting enough, the property manager told us we had to leave exactly at 11a, because there was another rental right afterwards...wonder if they found all the treasures we did?!

The ground is beautiful and owner is always around helping with whatever we need! We got a snow storm when in there, and the area was gorgeous! Also they they cleaned our walkway and parking lot during the whole snow storm!
The funiture is very outdated, the fireplace and the porch makes the place cozy! It’s a simple place, no frills! It’s good to relax, but do not expect anything fancy! Also they provide the very very basic, I mean salt, pepper, ONE paper towel, and ONE garbage bag! I brought my things and had to go to the supermarket to buy coffee filters and trash bag! A lot of things around, it’s a good area!
