Located in the Rocky Mountains on the Continental Divide just 15 minutes from Butte, Montana. Quiet pristine location with mountain air, wood stove and propane heat and also propane grill on the deck for Convenience … has a gas 4 burner stove as well. Plenty of hiking trails and picturesque views! Wood pre chopped/split for wood stove and had conveniences of home in a log home setting for clean country living. Updated restroom with shower! Plenty of privacy!

Not a single complaint … everything was wonderful — wouldn’t change a thing.

This property is beautiful, remote, quiet and our cabin was fully stocked as expected. The owner texted me the morning of our arrival to warn of possible confusion with GPS to locate them - which was appreciated, since the road for access is a bit obscure when first exiting the freeway.

It is a remote location, which is good and bad. The access road is unpaved, but in very good shape, and long - you really want to listen to the owners when they say to bring in all provisions ahead of time as you won't want to leave once you get there.

Great cabins in a gorgeous wooded area close to Butte but feeling like a million miles away. Bike or xcountry trails. The yurt looked cool too!

Lauren, our host, was extremely helpful ahead of and during our visit. The Smith Cabin in which we stayed is comfortable, rustic but highly functional, and with a great stove in which we built a fire during the evening we were there. This is a truly beautiful area, with pine and aspen trees, sage, and a granite landscape. We highly recommend your staying here.

The property is gorgeous! Great hiking and very friendly and helpful owners. Enjoyed the solitude, the views! Cabins are clean, warm and efficient.

The Tempur-pedic bed. If you like Tempur-Pedic you will love it, but the bed hurts my back and shoulder and is difficult for my husband to get in and out of... so, restless nights. Also be prepared - it’s a 3 mile dirt road to the Lodge.

Loved staying here. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

The drive up was long & scary at night especially if you haven’t been before. But I had excellent communication with the owner & she reassured me we were going in the right direction.

The cabin at Homestake lodge is clean, spacious, tastefully decorated and in a gorgeous, quiet location on the property. The woodstove gives plenty of warmth. A secondary room heater is also more than ample to heat the cabin. All amenities areavailable. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans and all utensils that one may need. The bathroom is well designed and the loft is charming. There is good water pressure and temperature. The beds and furniture are very comfortable. The hosts are friendly and discreet. There are many hiking opportunities in this beautiful area.
