Since my visit was for work the location was good, you have access to restaurants and gas stations

You can’t have any privacy there, if anyone talk, walk, you can hear it like it’s in your room, not a good choice if you need to sleep early and the guest upstairs decide to have any activities, the coffee machine didn’t work, talked to the manager over the phone, since no one available at the property, they can’t do anything since they’re not there, for the “ breakfast” some food was stocked in the refrigerator at the shared area, not sure if it’s there since when, by the time I’m ready to leave I saw people show up around 8 AM to stock some muffins and other stuff. I was already have my coffee and breakfast on my own from the nearest store.

This place was truly an amazing experience. Very clean and beautiful. Walking distance to many restaurants and other places. Very close to shaver lake. The room had a rustic and cozy vibe. We even got complementary wine and chocolates! Such a romantic feel to it as well. And the breakfast was absolutely outstanding! Very kind and hospitable hosting from the owners. We definitely will come back again.

Everything. Joane & Greg Elliot were wonderful people, and have gone to a lot of trouble and have provided all the things you could want, or need for a comfortable stay.

Nothing, they have thought of everything.

The owners were great. They greeted us kindly and told us what was on the menu. Breakfast was lovely and delicious.

I would have liked the option of a smaller, less bulky pillow. I usually travel with my own, but forgot it. I didn’t ask though. I still loved the room.

absolutely everything! so cozy and romantic, snow had just fallen so it was perfect. Greg Elliot is so kind and fun to converse with. breakfast was exceptional!

the beds sadly, they are comfy but for sleeping my boyfriend and I just couldn’t get it right.

So many unexpected touches!! The fresh flowers on the tables, the complimentary snacks in room, comfy lounge chairs around the fountain. We were truly able to relax and enjoy :). The Sunday breakfast with mimosas was a real treat!

The location is close to EVERYTHING you can possible need. The scenery at the B&B and around is breathtaking. I surprised my husband with a weekend get away. We have never visited Shaver Lake and we will be back again. We stayed in the Sequoia room and plan on coming back to the same room. Weekend breakfast is amazing! You will not be disappointed with The Elliot House.

I liked the ability to serve myself when I was hungry. I liked the sitting area in my room as well as the windows I could look out to see fountain and watch cars go by. It was relaxing , comfortable, friendly, and enjoyable. Great place to get away for a safe place to stay.

The owners were friendly and attentive. The bed was super comfortable and room was nice and clean!:) On Sunday the breakfast was delicious! We will definitely be back!

We went in late June when the weather was warmer, which made the house warmer. There was an ac in our room but the location of it didn’t quite cool off the bedroom. Even so, everything else made up for it. 😍

Due to COVID restrictions we didn't have breakfast made. We had options to make out own breakfast, snacks and drinks. On Sunday we did enjoy a delicious breakfast and all you can drink mimosas. The host were kind and very helpful

We stayed in the Ponderosa room and its all wood floors. The walls are extremely thin and the room above us keep my husband and i awake the whole night. It was very loud and they kept dropping their phones or items and a cell phone kept vibrating threw the ceiling. We could also hear all the cars passing by.

Everything was just exceptional. Super friendly owner/operators, comfortable and clean, close to the lake and everything in Shaver, and the spa tub was so nice after a long day. Breakfast on Sunday was homemade french toast, fresh fruit, sausage, and mimosas. Couldn't ask for a better getaway!

The only drawback was the heat. No A/C meant our upstairs room was hot, but we were there in the Summer. The staff had two fans waiting for us and it cooled down overnight, so not a huge deal, and the owners did everything they could to keep us comfortable.
