Location and colonial feel of property. We stayed in Ivy Cottage which had plenty of space. The lounge and bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable.

Whole exterior including gardens and covered walkways, including patio areas, have been neglected. Needs a major pressure washing to clean down these areas and some basic gardening. Ivy Cottage bathroom and kitchen area in dire need of remodelling. Kitchen cooker very, very old and dirty. Needs replacing. Shower head was that dirty I had to give deep clean before being able to use.

Charming little place

The outside was undesirable. Could've moved those big rolls off of sidewalk. No clean place to sit outside.

It was a keyless entry.

First, when we booked the place, the reservation said for the whole house. Then after we made the reservation, when we were getting the final information for our departure, in the very fine print on the third page of the reservation, it said you only get the whole house if you have 8 people. When we got the temperature was 55 degrees, as the night before the temperature had been below 40 degrees. The heat was not on and it took over 12 hours to get the temperature above 65 degrees. The place was not clean. The makeshift bathroom had a door right to the outside, and we could never get it warm. The bathroom sink and bathtub were both clogged and did not drain properly. The dishes and pots and pans were dirty, and we had to thoroughly clean them to use them. Just a totally disappointing experience. Additionally, there was an outside grill shown in the pics, and we verified with the host that it worked. But, it was so filthy I would not even put aluminum foil on it to use, as it did not look like it had been cleaned in at least 2-3 years.

The beds are comfortable. The decor is nice. The quaint atmosphere is lovely.

The noise pollution from the passing traffic is a problem.

Very cute spot in an area that was not sure what to expect as a little off beaten path. Clean with all of the basics you need to feel.at home. Will definitely stay again if visit area again. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Very nice eclectic inn. Cool combination of styles and decor on each room. Fully equipped. We try and stay there every time we come to Sanford for music shows.

Steps a bit slippery but is and older classic place. Can't really say any thing bad about it.

our rooms were very comfortable and nice, although our balcony was filled with dirty water and leaves! The railing was unsafe and had mildew on it.. could have been a nice place to sit out..😆

the grounds were very unkept, a work in progress I’m sure.. lots of potential! dust bunnies under the beds, dirty socks ( not ours) behind bathroom door. although our rooms were basically clean and nicely decorated! not a bed and breakfast as advertised, need to change the sign too..!
