We frequently stay in Holiday Inn’s and this one was new so it was clean and very nice. No complaints at all about the facility, itself.

I wasn’t crazy about some of the staff, including the GM. We were there because my husband had appointments at Saint Al, a stroke center. He’s had several major strokes which have left him disabled, and he has TIA’s (mini strokes), frequently, along with seizures. He has a service dog who’s been trained to detect when a TIA or a seizure is about to happen so that my husband can lie down or get into a sitting position. Service animals don’t need special vests where we are from and I suppose the woman, who told him she was the GM, didn’t believe him? I was out of the hotel one day and my husband stayed behind. He was walking around the property with his dog and he said he was approached more than once by this woman who continued to question him about his dog. He said that she approached him multiple times and made him uncomfortable. The issue I have with this is that if there was a problem, why have me fill out the appropriate paperwork upon check in? My husband has cognitive damage that has all but wiped his short term memory. He can’t always think clearly nor can he defend himself. I went searching for her after I returned to the hotel but I, personally, never saw her for the remainder of our stay. After that day, the front desk staff was unwelcoming to us and some were less than that. I suspect it had something to do with the GM. On a positive note, the bartenders at Burger Theory were great and the housecleaning staff were all very sweet. We have further appointments at St. Al while we come up with a game plan to get his strokes under control and we will definitely be staying elsewhere.

The food was great. The rooms were immaculate and gave a warm, relaxing feel.. Very friendly staff.

The water pressure in the shower was very low.

had watered down conditioner and shower plug wouldn’t stay open

The headboard on the bed had dried liquid on it. Wasn’t quite sure what it was. Also sticky palm print. I cleaned it.

I like the coffee machines being trialled in the foyer.

Whilst the foyer and downstairs facilities were nice, the rooms weren't particularly flash considering the price.
