To start with the door looked as if it was kicked in several times, it was cold in the room and found out the room was controlled by the motel and we were told to climb up and shut the vent. The room had two remotes for tv and we had to go get office to come and enter password so we could get access, no ice machine available, no hair dryer in the room, no phone to contact the office. In addition the man at the front desk was not very pleasant. I would not recommend this motel to anyone and the Ratings’s are way over stated.

Great greeter helped us sign in, was friendly and welcoming. Properly well cared for and inviting. Flowers and nice plantings.
One side of bed was firm up against a wall. No place to put items like glasses, Kleenex, water, etc. needed a bedside table.

liquor store and auto parts store nearly next door (appreciated both after stopping at short notice during a blizzard :)
no individual thermostat or heater in room - you get the central temperature management decides (it was ok)
no cable, satellite or even antenna tv - there was a roku player, but very little content

Some places that charge less don't seem to try as hard. Husker Inn grounds look nice and are well kept. Our room was very clean and comfortable and, although small, provided all that we needed. Service was good and friendly.
Small room understandably means not enough space for some things, but people should be aware that there is no closet to hang clothing. Also, the hotel description says that rooms have air conditioning. However, we didn't find a thermostat. Was not an issue for us as the weather was mild, but the rooms appear to be regulated by the motel.

Husker Inn had the most comfortable beds of our whole trip and the gnome garden out front was fun!

Absolutely spotless--one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed. Also very quiet. Very comfortable furnishings.
The problem was the A/C. It was freezing and guests can not control temperature in their individual rooms. Way to cold for elderly even with vents closed. Also they should provide paper cups rather than plastic for use in microwave. Also more ecologically sound.

It was charming, neat, clean, snd a great value. There was a little fridge and microwave in the room.
For the price, I couldn’t ask for more!! However, for those who might need to know this, the climate isn’t controlled from the individual room. It must be a central system. That said, I thought the temperature was just right. There’s no blow drier or iron in the room. Not a big deal to me. I will definitely stay here again.

Everything was very nice. Continental breakfast was great. Site was centrally located for my family and easy to navigate from. Room was not lavish but perfectly suited for what I needed, which was to establish a base where my family could easily find me and where we could have some private time. I appreciated the atmosphere of the place, which had a light-hearted and pretty decor outside, and engendered friendliness among the guests. It was very quiet and comfortable.
I was a bit lost when it came to finding places to eat in the neighborhood, though I later found an excellent place just down 4th a short distance. A rough “you are here” map might have been helpful, though I got along fine without.

The owners of this inn are so very kind. The rooms very clean, and it’s a perfect road trip stop! Don’t miss going to the Golden Spike Tower to view the worlds largest rail yard while you are there! Many thanks to the staff for their hospitality!

I love this family owned motel and stay here whenever I’m on the road west. It is clean and the staff is very sweet. A relaxed different vibe from the chain hotels.
