Very nicely furnished .. good location

TVs were not in bedrooms !

I liked the size of the space - two rooms, kitchen, living room and bathroom. The texting service was great - speedy responses and seamless check in.

The living room seating was not comfortable for a family of 4. There was one couch and chair. The couch was situated perpendicular to the tv making it hard to view. It was a bit cumbersome to bring up our luggage to the second floor.

Interesting decor, the main bed was comfortable, bathroom was fine, hotel was quiet despite being in a central location in Luray.

We had a two-room suite with a full kitchen (kitchen unnecessary to our one-night stay). The fold out bed in the second room was barely comfortable for my daughter, while I slept in the main bed. The cost seemed high for a hotel in a small town in Virginia, but perhaps that was because of the fall season and central location. Not much view from the windows.

For almost $400/night, I expect to have fast service for any unexpected issues (such as problems connecting with Wifi) - however there is no available staff after 2pm EST - only an 'emergency' phone number. Using that number fix my Wifi issues came with too little and too late help. There was no indication on Booking.com that this hotel would not be fully staffed to support guests with basic problems that any hotel should be able to address promptly. I'd expect to pay a lot less for a hotel without full customer support.

This is not a standard hotel. There was no staff and we saw not one other person when we were there and we LOVED it. The rooms are stunning, as are the common areas. The location is great too, within walking distance of the Hawksbill Greenway, a beautiful walking/biking path and restaurants and shops. It was the perfect place to stay for our impromptu trip to Shenandoah National Park. Parking was convenient too. We parked right outside our door.

The only complaint was the walls are thin and there was a bit too much noise.

I had a great stay at Hotel Laurance with my boyfriend. The decor was great I loved the color combination and the fact that it had a modern farmhouse look and feel to it which I like. I would definitely stay at this hotel again in the near future.

Beautiful old building in the perfect location. The decor was lovely and suited the space. Recommend Room 9 The Tucker which had a small outside sitting area. The main hotel area was gorgeous. Definitely take the time to check it out.

A TV in the bedroom would have been nice.
