cottage was in a great location, lovely country sites, loads of places to walk as well as being a not to far car ride for a local small shop or to travel a little further for activities.

we understand the cottage is self catering and that's great, but I would recommend perhaps keeping basic condiments in the kitchen for guests.

Our hosts were great, friendly went above and beyond made us feel welcome. Perfect get away from it all, retreat. Peaceful with beautiful views of the mountains, home from home facilities.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Perfect holiday cottage, clean and tidy with beautiful views.

We had a perfect six night stay in Kilsby Cottage. It is set in a private and peaceful location with stunning views over a valley. The cottage was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The owners Matthew and Caroline live onsite and are very friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The cottage is only a mile away from the town of Llanwrtyd Wells where you will find a very well-stocked shop next to the petrol station and several places to eat.

There was nothing not to like. We loved everything about Kilsby Cottage and hope to stay there again one day.

The location and cottage itself are amazing, very welcoming hosts! Definitely recommending to take retreat in the cottage and have quiet time away from all the noise!

Only thing would be how far away from everything the location is, but most will see that as positive anyways.

This place is amazing such a peaceful place to stay the accommodation has everything you need the town is just a stone's throw away the hosts are brilliant and they really do all they can to insure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable very nice people we hope to return again in the summer

What a wonderful, peaceful place. Hidden away in a beautiful part of the world that we've never visited before. The views from the cottage are incredible and you can just head off walking straight from the door. The cottage was perfect - super clean, really well equipped, lovely and warm and we felt really comfortable and at home. The hosts are lovely, welcoming people who obviously take great care of the property and the beautiful gardens surrounding. We loved watching all the birds visiting the feeders provided too. Cannot recommend Kilsby Cottage highly enough. We had a really relaxing stay and hope to return.

The cottage was lovely, very well equipped and beds were super comfortable. Cottage is very remote, but this for us was a positive as this is what we wanted. Even being remote, there are plenty of things to do within a reasonable drive. We had some day trips out to Aberyswyth and Merthyr for various things but also spent some time in some of the local villages and nearby walking areas. All in all was a lovely time, hosts were very pleasant and accomodating and were only too happy to help if we had any queries or questions. Highly recommended if you want a nice relaxed quite place to stay with stunning views, but still able to get into a few towns and villages for cinema and restaurants and any such thing.

Nothing, really enjoyable and no issues for us as a family whatsoever. A few narrow and tight roads to enter and exit the property, so maybe if you are a nervous driver who does not like tight rural lanes, then it may not be the place for you.

Lovely cottage in a great location. The cottage is very comfortable and is a perfect base for exploring the area, walking and cycling. The hosts were very welcoming and were always happy to give us tips on walks in the area.

It’s just perfect! The surroundings beautiful..so peaceful and relaxing and at the same time so much to explore. The garden around the cottage with most amazing flowers..the birds and wildlife. The owners makes you feel so welcome ...we had amazing holiday ,will definitely return and recommend ☺️.

The location was excellent with good walking routes right from the door. Owners were friendly and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. Couldn't fault anything.

There was nothing not to like

The location was brilliant for what I had planned, with lovely walks for the dog, straight from the front door. The hosts were lovely & helpful & I would happily return for another stay.

The property was in a beautiful location and so quiet. All facilities were to a high standard

The ONLY negative was that the settee was not the most comfortable, but the beds made up for that!
