Great location and the view of the beautiful Tucscan countryside was amazing! The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was also better than most around.

Not a good location if you do not have transportation due to the area being somewhat hard to walk.

Lack of air conditioning.i know it said the pool isn't open after September, but would have been great if it was! Even just to sit around the pool. Free shuttles maybe at lunch and dinner into the city would have been great too. Hard without a car

Where do you start, there’s so much to love about this hotel. It really is a gem. The views from the pool area and hotel rooms and balconies across the Val D’Orcia are to die for. But it was the whole experience from check in and the amazing hosts through to check out, they couldn’t have been more helpful. The breakfast was wonderful - rate 10/10 - and staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms were a good size, spotlessly clean and well equipped. It was a beautiful, relaxing stay in a beautiful hotel just a stone’s throw from Montalcino, with other places just a short drive away.

The lovely couple who run this hotel work especially hard to make everybody’s stay as pleasant as possible, and gave some top tips for places to eat and visit during our stay. It’s well located to visit many picturesque places and towns nearby, and has some great vineyards and Michelin guide restaurants on the doorstep. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was really good. The pool looked nice, but unfortunately we didn’t have time to use it!

Lovely little place on the outskirts of Montalcino with a great swimming pool. The staff were fantastic, it was my birthday and they unexpectedly gave us a bottle of Prosecco which was a lovely surprise and totally appreciated. Our room had a great little external terrace and it was an enjoyable 20 minute walk into town.

Breakfast was lovely but a little chaotic and there was not much selection for the later arrivals. Frustrating when people monopolise the pool loungers and then disappear for hours at a time leaving their clothes and towels draped over them. It was only a small area and difficult to find a spot under these circumstances.

Location may be an issue if you don’t have a car. The walk into Montalcino is around 20-25 mins and is a steep hill.

Hotel with a very good location, comfortable, friendly staff, breakfast somewhat repetitive, possibly because it is not high season...

The wifi speed is terrible, the plugs are old; I think that at this time these aspects should be taken more care of.

Interior of the hotel is nicely decorated and stylish. Breakfast was good with real coffee. Free car park for guests.

Very clean, beautiful view from room, comfortable bed, nicely furnished, rich variety for sweet breakfast, the drive from Montalcino to Pienza with fantastic views. Pool area seemed really nice, but it was too cold for using it end of April.

We heard traffic noise, hotel is located close to a road. Only sweet breakfast was served, cheese&ham upon request.
