This apartment was fantastic…it was in a perfect location and perfect size for two of us…having a kitchen and separate living room was perfect for relaxing. You can walk everywhere for a cafe, glass of wine, supermarket, pastry and pasta shop, etc. Mariella was great and sent a lot of recommendations as well as information. Very helpful and quick with the responses. Having a washing machine in the apartment was also a plus. Definitely would stay here again and hope to do so soon. Thanks for everything!

This was the perfect base for us to explore the surrounding areas and attend the Alba White Truffle festival. Mariella was a great host, super prompt over messaging, personable and funny.

This was a wonderful apartment in the center of La Morra --- absolutely perfect in every way. It comes fully equipped with everything you might need during your stay and visit to this charming town. And Mariella couldn't be nicer or more communicative -- she met us in the town square and showed us everything in the apartment and she kept in contact with us during our stay to be sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely come back here if possible!

Mariella’s apartment is as described - it is clean, quiet, convenient and well provisioned. La Morra was an idea base for our week’s stay. It had all that we needed/wanted: a local market; good coffee and pastries; ATM; restaurants; and a helpful tourist information office. We enjoyed many restaurants and wines within the Langhe area. Our pick of restaurants within walking distance of the apartment (800 m downhill) would be Locanda Fontanazza Osteria. Fabulous food at reasonable prices - very popular, so make sure you book. This is our second time staying at Mariella’s apartment and it was just as wonderful this time as last. The location is perfect, the apartment is meticulous and welcoming, and Mariella is a wonderful host! The views are perfect when enjoying coffee on the terrace, and the short drive to the numerous towns make La Morra an ideal location for relaxation and exploring. Highly recommmend!

This apartment in LaMorra served as our base for exploring the Langhe region. Mariella was a wonderful host. She was in contact several times before our visit to provide us essential information. She met us at the apartment which is beautifully appointed and equipped. It had everything that we could need for our stay. Parking is in a nearby lot and we were always able to find a space. Mariella allowed me to use her storage room for my bicycle. She and her husband, Franco, hosted us at a wine tasting and provided us with great recommendations on wine, restaurants and local sights. We had a wonderful stay and will return. Thanks Mariella!

Beautifully furnished and stocked with every basic need and more. Can't say enough great things about apartment and experience--Mariella met us and showed us everything needed to know about unit and the area. Incredibly welcoming and personable with a beautiful and delicious torte waiting for us plus inviting us to wine tasting for day after arrival. Apartment is large and beautifully furnished. Location and views from LaMorra also a plus. Visited other villages but so happy we chose LaMorra and this apartment. From first inquiry throughout our stay, Mariella was responsive. Would love to get to know Mariella and Franco better.....delightful couple. Everything about this rental gets much, much more than a 5 rating. Highly recommend as base if visiting this lovely area of Italy.

My husband and I stayed for one week during Easter. The appartement is very nice, clean, well furnished and perfect for a couple. The village and surroundings are beautiful and perfect for hiking. Mariella is a very welcoming host and gave us all the information we needed. We highly recommend this appartement and we hope to return some day!

Mariella was very accommodating even tho' we were delayed in our arrival. The location of the apartment couldn't be better. The apartment itself is lovely, very comfortable and nicely furnished. The La Morra area is beautiful and we hope to return.

We had a wonderful stay in Mariella's apartment. It was perfect for the three of us (2 adults and one child). The apartment itself is spotlessly clean and has everything you need and more. Mariella and Franco were there to greet us, provided all the information we needed and kept in touch throughout our stay. La Morra itself is a wonderful town and the apartment is perfectly situated in the old town. La Morra has everything you need. We also visited many other lovely towns in the region - Alba, Asti, Barolo, Barbaresco, Nieve etc. and whilst these were all beautiful we were glad we were staying in La Morra, it was perfect. I would recommend a visit to Piedmont if you want to experience wonderful scenery, food, wine and people and would definitely go back to Mariella's apartment and La Morra.

This apartment was perfect for us. Mariella is a thoughtful and generous host. I have never had a host greet us with a welcome cake! It was well stocked, furnished and comfortable. It felt like home. We love la Morra. Great for dinners home or out; walks short and long; and day trips to Alba, Barolo, Montfort d’Alba etc. Please go and have fun. La Morra is a beautiful little gem in the middle of Barolo country. Mariela and Franco’s gorgeous apartment is just perfect, beautifully maintained, clean as a whistle with everything you need to feel at home in of the the prettiest little villages we have ever stayed in. Thank you both for allowing us into your beautiful apartment and village .... we will be back!

We stayed here for 15 nights in September and October and we would not have changed a thing. The apartment is every bit as nice as it looks in the photos. It is clean and bright, and nicely decorated. The furniture in the sitting area is very comfortable. The TV and DVD player are easy to use, and there is a large selection of DVD’s for the occasional rain day. The kitchen is large and well laid out. It is fully equipped with more pots and pans and utensils than a lot of people have in their homes, including two coffee makers and two truffle slicers. It even has a dish washer. The bathroom is large and bright with a shower larger than some hotels we have stayed in. The bedroom is well laid out with two wardrobes and a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed the table and chairs outside the door. It was a nice place to have beverage in the afternoon or after dinner. We never felt like we were bothering the neighbors, and they were not a bother to us. Parking was usually available near the church at the top of the hill. When it was not, we parked in the large public lot a few hundred meters away. There are a number or restaurants and cafes a short walk away. Best of all, Mariella was a wonderful host eager to help with recommendations and answer any questions we had. We hope to return in a few years!

My husband and I spent 9 nights in this lovely decorated apartment. It was very comfortable, clean and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal. Mariella met us and reviewed everything in the apartment including where to park. There is plenty of free parking nearby.Mariella was also very helpful with making dinner reservations as well. There are plenty of nice restaurants in La Morra. Mariella and Franco were wonderful hosts, always quick to answer questions. We were very fortunate to attend a local wine tasting at the Cantina Comunale where Franco volunteers on the weekend. Thanks again Mariellla and Franco for a lovely afternoon of sampling local wines. Wonderful apartment, nicely finished, perfect location, quiet and comfortable. Mariella was a great host and met us to show us around. I would stay here again. We went with two adults and one infant. La Morra is beautiful and we hope to return.

We spent 9 nights in Mariella's apartment in the beginning of june. The apartment is very nice and cosy, a bit dim though. We’ve been in Piemont many times before and haven't seen a nicer village than La Morra. The location in the middle of Barolo area is perfect and you cannot get bored with the UNESCO World Heritage view to the Barolo vineyards. We will definately return.

We spent 11 nights in Mariella's apartment recently and could not have been more pleased. The apartment is as nice as the web site and the reviews indicate -- extremely comfortable, sparkling clean, in a great location for visiting the small towns and wineries in the Langhe. And Mariella herself -- what more can I add to what's already been said? She is the perfect hostess -- always ready to answer questions via email before our visit, and then so concerned that we have a great visit. I really can't think of one thing that deserves criticism about the apartment -- easy parking, great WiFi, well-equipped kitchen, roomy bedroom and bathroom, comfortable living room, with lovely views. Thank you, Mariella, for the opportunity to stay in your apartment and for your wonderful hospitality!

This was such a perfect apartment for the two of us; good location, well equipped and very comfortable. Mariella and Franco were very personable and helpful. Would highly recommend rental.

Mariella and Franco are amazing hosts, we felt like were were friends and not just "renters" of the apartment. They went out of their way to make us feel like we were a part of their family and a part of LaMorra. We arrived on a Saturday and left on a Saturday and were able to attend 2 wine tasting at the Cantina Comunale. We arrived when all the winemakers were harvesting and showcasing their wines. Piedmont is known for their Barola, Barbaresco, and Nebbiolo wines and we were able to taste some very wines that are are expensive in the USA. The apartment is spacious, very clean (which is really important to me), modern and comfortable. I can't say enough about our week in LaMorra. The towns that were recommended to visit, and the restaurants that Mariella recommended were wonderful. This was probably one of the first trips in which my husband and I felt like we not just tourists, but we experienced Italy as an insider. I give all of the credit for that to Mariella and Franco. We hope to remain in touch with Mariella and Franco, to return to LaMorra, and to become lifelong friends!

This apartment is well located in the centre of La Morra and a good base to explore the Langhe. Owners are very friendly and welcoming. Sad to leave and hope to be back soon again!
