The breakfast spread was good.
After we arrived, we found out that the commodes were not working properly and they didn't have enough water pressure. Additionally, the room was filthy dirty. The bathroom floors looked like they had not been cleaned in a month and the bathtub was raunchy! Not worth the money at all. I have stomach issues and had to use the toilet in the middle of the night and it wouldn't flush so the commode sat there with the bowl full until sometime much later in the morning when the water pressure was finally high enough to make it flush. It was disgusting and embarrassing! I really wish I could get my money back because it was not worth the cash! At the bare minimum, the location should have let potential renters know about the water issues they were having a head of any stay. They knew that if they told the customers they wouldn't come to stay there so instead of having to lose a tiny bit of money possibly, they decided it would be better to lie and misrepresent themselves as a good clean facility when in fact at the time I don't think it could pass any inspection that would allow it to even function as a hotel because of the water pressure issues and the toilet issues. It was such a disappointment and I feel very very used. Never again!

Didn’t like whole lot. Front desk manager did try to find us a clean room but didn’t succeed
We looked at three rooms the showers and bathrooms were dirty. Smelled like Fabreeze it gave wife and I headache we left after first night. Didn’t stay second night

trash cans could have been bigger. And I called the front desk once to see if someone could bring up towels and hand soap because the hand soap in the bathroom was out and the lady said ok. but no one ever came after waiting over and hour so we ended up having to go get it.

The hotel is beautiful when you walk in. I especially loved the aquarium. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bed in the room was very soft and comfortable. I slept really well.
Walking the halls to the room I could tell the carpet was dingy and had spots. The first room was not cleaned from the previous tenants so I was switched to another room but that one was not much better. None of the USB plugs worked. The floor in front of the door was sticky and the TV remote was disgusting, sticky, and had spots.

a little far out of Southport but it was worth it having a pool.
The staff was the most accommodating and friendly we have ever experienced. After getting sick and having to stay an additional day, the staff went above and beyond to help us out as much as they could.
