The property was in a great location - away from the hustle and bustle but still very close to the old town and all the restaurants and activities. Also very close to Banje Beach and to several supermarkets. The apartment itself was very nice, modern/pleasantly decorated, with an AMAZING view. Probably the best value for money I have ever seen :) It has all the facilities you need, properly working aircons and a good wifi. And Marko is a great host!

We liked everything. I just have a small recommendation. I know people usually stay for a few days and this is never a problem for this kind of stay. But because we stayed for 7 nights, it would have been great to have a little clean\refresh in the middle of our stay. Also beware of steps - there are a lot of them and they will keep you fit :))) But then again there are steps everywhere in Dubrovnik :)

The view from the apartment was amazing. It was very clean and bed so comfy. Host was lovely and very helpful. The apartment had everything that we needed in it and close walking distance to old town.

Lots of steps so if you had limited mobility it wouldn't suit.

A little more attention to detail would have made our stay more pleasant: - the bathroom towel radiator is rusty - the bathroom fan is very dusty and noisy - lots of dust in hidden corners (like below the bed) - almost no laundry detergent - Only a few drops of olive oil, empty tea box, coffee box filled with salt, opened expired food left in the cupboard - very noisy fridge - the front door slams when the main door of the building is opened - it feels like it is never properly closed - few electric outlets not well fixed to the wall

incredible view, clean and tidy, had everything you could need in there! really close to all the places we wanted to go, owner went above and beyond to make sure we were okay, really happy!

My friend and I waited about 20 minutes until someone showed up to hand over the keys. And no apology for lateness on his part. I was also told that the taxi ride from the airport is 35 euros, which is actually 30.

I was not sure whether I could be bothered to write a review, but after seeking advice from Booking.com, they have advised me to go ahead so that it reflects a genuine experience. Sadly, despite the great reviews, this was one of the worst experiences communicating with the hosts, which I can easily back up with screenshots and photos as proof. Marko turned out to be not all what I expected. He clearly advertised his property as having a double bed in the room and a sofa bed in the living room. Imagine my surprise when upon my arrival he said that there is no sofa bed. I insisted there is, and he kept denying it, despite showing screenshots from the site proving I was right. And guess what? There was a sofa bed and it was BROKEN. Instead of doing something about it, or compensating me in a way, he said he was fine with me sleeping on the floor. I told him this false advertising will result in a poor review. He told me if I write a poor review, he will ask me to leave the apartment, even if I had already paid for BOTH nights. Downright rudeness. And this was communicated in an aggressive, rude manner, with absolutely no sense of hospitality or good customer service. The proof that he was trying to cover up something is that as soon as I got back home and checked his property on Booking.com, the sofa bed was no longer advertised! Unbelievable. Despite some nice facilities in the apartment, and a great view of Lokrum Island, I cannot rate this apartment well. Honesty and good customer service should be a priority and Marko simply did not deliver. I am grateful for an apology and compensation from Booking.com. I just wish it came from the host first and too.

Overall all was great, the place was clean, bed was comfortable, the place had a washer which was helpful. The only hick-up was at the start when the key exchange should have happened, but it was not a long wait - matter was resolved within an hour. The host is very helpful, even organized for us a ride back and we left the keys with the cab driver. One thing that most people do not write in these is the amount of steps you have to take in order to get to the apartment. In all honestly most places in Dubrovnik with a view have some steps, but if anyone is interested there is 58 steps to get to the property, then you go up and down to entrance of the building followed by 3 a climb that is 3 floors up. The building like most does not have an elevator so if you are elderly or with a disability it may be better to find something with less than 100 steps up. Otherwise if you are young and able there should be nothing preventing you from enjoying great views of island Lokrum from the juliet balcony and your stay at the place.

We loved the location of this property! It was super comfortable to stay for an entire week and our host Marko was exceptional; greeted us and provided advice on where to get the Best Burger in Croatia (!!). We'd HIGHLY recommend the property as it was quiet yet so close to everything you need to experience in Dubrovnik.

The location was perfect as it was out of the hustle bustle of old town, but a very close walk. Marko was great with communication and the pick up and drop off to and from the airport was great. The bed was super comfortable and the view from the apartment was amazing(see picture). We loved how the apartment was close to a market where we could buy water and bananas and whatever else we needed. Also, it is just up the street from Banje beach club, which was a nice place to relax and swim in the sea.

Like most people say in their reviews…the stairs. We liked it though because we felt less guilty about indulging in all the amazing food!☺️

Apartment is close (~10min walk) to the old town. Our flight was late in the evening, so Marko proposed to store our luggage at his bar, so we could walk around the city on our last day :)

Super easy contact with a host. The view from the apartment is as on the photo: straight at the sea; Marco is super easy- going person.

There are stairs but they are in a whole city, is worth to climb a bit for the view ;)

Marko met us at the property. He also let us check out late which was really helpful. The apartment was clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable. The area is quiet and residential and felt safe- it is close to the old town, cable car and Banje Beach and to the bus stops from and to the airport. It’s Dubrovnik so expect steps everywhere. Although there are a lot of steps up from the road to the apartment there is an alternative route - make sure to ask Marko in advance. Marko was very responsive to messages.
