This place is amazing. The views around are harmonious and calming. The building is also excellent, architecture and interiors designed in every detail. Service on the first day, exactly the gentleman who greeted us was very nice and explained everything, showed the place. The next day the morning lady was not so well prepared. We got dirty fruit for breakfast. It was probably an accident, but it shouldn't have happened in a place like this. She was also not very nice asking to check out only 15 minutes after 10:00. The way she did it wasn't right.
In my opinion, some employees need training.

The establishment is in a beautiful wineyard. Rooms were new and clean. Breakfast with the view on the whole winery was also great. The staff was very helpful and did not have a problem with later checkout because of extraordinary circumstances.
It is a slightly longer walk to the town, but nothing that would be a problem. You can always use a taxi.

But for me, a huge MESS
The housekeeping was very Bad.
Only floor and beds were ok but the room was dirty.
Traces on the toilets, Nespresso machine disgusting, glasses the same... A shame !
And at 5am, cars cross the property in a front of Windows without taking Care.
Simple Breakfast in the room instead of the nice main room with the view, really a pity.
Smell of sewers in the corridor.
The owner must take Care of guests, not only a winemaker.

if you're looking for a total reset experience this location is for you. in the middle of the vineyard, on the hill overlooking typical Palava views. It's far enough from the town to experience silence, appreciate fresh air and walks in the surrounding vineyards. breakfasts are served in a nice space. modern design, good quality furniture both in the room and common areas. free parking in front of the property.
good location for stargazing, if you own a telescope you might think of bringing it with you :)
no bathtub in the bathroom
the large breakfast area is closed throughout the day which is a bit of an inconvenience if you wish to spend time at the property. you're left with a possibility of spending time in your room which is a bit dark because it's below the ground level or outside on the terrace (there is a sitting area).
if you expect to have easy access (a few minutes walk) to town, stores, restaurants, etc. you should probably think about booking elsewhere as the location is a bit remote and you need to get there by car.

We've spent 2 nights at this beautiful place and enjoyed the hospitality of the super friendly staff. Breakfast was personally made for us and served at our table - it's quite rich and covers all different tastes. They were really helpful and even provided special options for my wife who is allergic to gluten. The rooms are located at the ground level and are spacious with a big and modern bathroom. We didn't need the AC but it was great to have it as a backup. The area is super quiet, peaceful and safe, with parking being behind the locked gate. Access to the terrace is 24/7 for booked guests - amazing for the drinks while enjoying the sunset over the vineyards. We will definitely come back in the future!
Just a small thing - the mattresses were a bit soft to our liking because I and my wife have back issues. The towels could be a bit bigger too.
