The staff always welcoming and always there to help. Comadation right in the centre of Carlingford. Rooms spotless, spacious and beds very comfortable. Have stayed here a few times now and cannot fault the breakfast. Will be back again in June

The guesthouse is over the (very busy) restaurant, and directly across from Taaffe's bar. It can be loud at night, given the areas central location and party atmosphere, but that is to be expected and is considered when booking I guess. It is a few steps from all the bars in the centre. The room was quaint. Clean and tidy, it was simply furnished, in a traditional, slightly dated style, but it is in line with the surroundings and is quite pleasant. The breakfast was great. The server, Geraldine, was welcoming, courteous, helpful and pleasant. We were served quickly, with a delicious breakfast. Very friendly service. We really appreciated her popping over and offering top ups of tea and coffee. The breakfast was very nice and was to a high standard . Cereals, fresh fruit, juices, yogurts and options of cooked food.

The location is noisy. That is fair and to be expected given the location. Check in was from the stated time. We asked, but there wasn't an early option offered. Parking is on street, so you take what you find. Again, this isn't their fault, but just the situation with the property and its central location.
