Breakfast excellent, host very accommodating.
Lovely quiet area, parking nearby.
Room was very compact for the price we paid, not worth £98.00!
No toiletries & a very cold room.

Good breakfast friendly service
Can hear every door opening and footsteps etc...
Not the best if your a light sleeper

Yoshi and John were excellent hosts. Old building but that adds to the charm. Perfect breakfast, which I enjoyed in the courtyard when the weather allowed it. Bathroom isn't en suite but private so that was not a problem.
No negative points to report to be honest :)

Yoshi was very welcoming and offered us a lovely slice of cake upon our arrival after a long day cycling. The room and coffee and tea facilities were also good. Cooked breakfast in the morning was also delicious.
It was only 10 degrees and drizzly outside so we were very cold after a day's cycling, only to find out the heater wouldn't come on. When we asked Yoshi about this, she said it was because the main wasn't on. She turned it on, but the room never actually warmed up very well, and in the morning the heating didn't come on again. This didn't feel very hospitable and also didn't allow our clothes to dry. Otherwise our stay was good.

The owners were super helpful and friendly, lovely breakfast!
Entrance only via slippery, cobbled, uneven pathway. Being slightly disabled and with an 87 year old in the party this was treacherous. No mention of accessibility on the Booking.com website.

Location
The room had no storage for clothes, no drawers, wardrobe etc. The bed had hairs in it and the bedding and towels stank of fire smoke, so much so we had to call the owners at 12:45 am to change the sheets as we couldn’t sleep in it due to the smell. The bathroom had several spiders and lots of cobwebs on the ceiling and walls, obviously not cleaned prior to our arrival. We only stayed 1 night instead of 2 as my wife couldn’t put up with the room. It was our wedding anniversary so it really was a disappointment and when we got home I contacted the owner twice and he has refused to acknowledge my correspondence. Needles to say we were not impressed and extremely disappointed.

Hosts were very helpful, breakfast was wonderful, very clean.

Good breakfast. Powerful shower.
Cold and damp rooms with cobwebs and dust. Owners use room that connects bedroom and bathroom to exit building, creating noise and a lack of privacy. This room was being used to store lots of boxes, and we felt like we were in basement. We could also hear owners talking about guests in the kitchen. Overall, not a very comfortable stay.

Nothing as the hosts tainted the experience.
Very poor service offered by the hosts. They were very rude. We had organised with them in advance about our booking and the terms and they had agreed to it via email, hence there is proof.
We had booked accommodation to just change our clothes as we were attending a wedding locally . It was clarified with the hosts that 6 of us are coming to just change our clothes and none of us would be staying overnight . The plan was to check out in a few hours.
We had asked the hosts that if this is not permissable I will cancel my booking and look elsewhere. They messaged me to say that they have no problem with this request
On the day they changed their mind which meant that other members of my family were left without a hotel room. The male host Hung up the phone on me whilst I was speaking to him to find directions .
They kept saying we were changing our minds, when we had only asked for two requests that they agreed on In advance.
They were very unprofessional and wanted us to cancel our booking on the day when we arrived . This would be impossible to do with my 1.5 year old daughter.
Only when we challenged them that their email stated they were happy with the request, they only let two people and the child . This left my elderly 80 year old grandmother having to make alternate arrangements last minute .
We were left very upset and disappointed by the whole experience.

It was an old cottage with rustic characteristics. The shower was fab and the beds were very comfortable.
Due to the age of the building, it was creaky at night but it wasn’t too much of an issue.

The hosts Yoshi and John were nothing but delightful and couldn’t do enough for me! I felt like I was in a home away from home! The room and facilities were lovely and clean. The location was right off the high street so really handy for everything but still tucked away in a picturesque courtyard.
Nothing! :)

Excellent location in a quiet courtyard just off High St. Comfortable room with good ensuiite. Fresh cinammon mufffin and fresh milk for tea tray was particularly welcome. Very hearty beakfast too. Lovely hosts were very attentive and freindly.
Bit chilly in the room early morning and couldn't switch radiator on.

This B&B is in a central location on the high street of the charming village of Pately Bridge in Nidderdale. The room was located on the courtyard behind what used to be the Sweatheart teashop and could be accessed from the side street. We were offered tea and cake on arrival and received an outstanding breakfast the following morning. There are several pubs and take-aways in the village including a very good fish & chips shop. The village also has excellent short and long term car parking.

Owner very pleasant, bed comfortable, DVD player with DVDs provided was a nice touch. Shower nice and powerful with plenty of hot water.
Room was cold on arrival and took some time to warm up, breakfast room felt a bit like a building site - when all works completed will probably be great but prices need to be reduced until then.

The room and ensuite were very clean, and the Host was very welcoming and pleasant
The shower was difficult to operate. The hospitality tray was lacking, although my host did give me a slice of home made and very delicious banana cake. The floor was cold. The room was slightly odd in that you entered through an outside door. There was nowhere to park close by.

We could not find the name of the hotel as mentioned on booking.com, and the place was like not what we were expected.

Friendly owner. Characterful little place, quite unusual. Care has gone into looking after the guests. Good breakfast. A cute place.
Shame the owner wore a mask - yuck! Room we were in might get rather chilly in the winter, I'd imagine!

Sweetheart House is a very apt name - it’s really lovely - old with a lot of character! Excellent breakfast and very warm and friendly lady to look after you.
Couldn’t be better!!!
Not a thing.
