Beautiful and peaceful, the perfect little hotel for a couple. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and very helpful with an abundance of local knowlege. we loved sitting on the quiet terrace for a glass of Bordeaux white in the evenings. We had the perfect stay and will be coming again soon!

Absolutely no fault of the hotel but it is worth noting that the Basin is tidal and so there isn’t sea all the time. This wasn’t an issue for us but was certainly a surprise. I would still recommend Andernos les Bains and Villa Teranga

Lovely property. Complete dining room for breakfast, which we did not have. Nice room, separate toilet, funky bathroom sink. Comfortable until the middle of the night.

When we tried to use the fan in the middle of the night, it was too noisy. We actually did not use the fan for fear of waking up guests in the adjacent room. We could open the window but there was no screen so the bugs could get in and unfortunately we are mosquito sensitive. So it got too hot for us in the room. (So for us the lesson is that we need air conditioning.).

Nicely styled room, particularly appreciated the large choice of breakfast . A good nights sleep, good bathroom, with the WC separated within this en suite, very useful. Nice attention to detail, a small thing but appreciated was a magnifier make up mirror in the bathroom.

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. Set back from the main road, means it's quiet whilst being only a 2 minute walk from the shops, bars, restaurants and only a 10 minute walk to the beach and the oyster shacks. The rooms are basic yet clean and comfortable. Thoroughly recommend.

Our room was next to reception so we heard all the noise as people entered late at night or left early in the morning.

The staff was not service minded at all, at one point they actually yelled at us because we forgot our code to the front door. After that they didnt even say hello or good morning to us.

This is a lovely small hotel run by excellent hosts. It has small but comfortable and well-appointed rooms and the breakfast is especially good and appetising. Although there is not a restaurant this is not a problem as the town has a large number of excellent restaurants to suit all tastes, especially good seafood restaurants, as expected in the oyster area. There is also a well-stocked bar where we had a pre dinner drink before venturing forth into the town and the sea-front to find another good restaurant. Limited on-site parking, but we didn't have a problem.
