Y Bwthyn Is Situated Up A Quiet Private Lane In The Grounds Of A Larger House.
La remise, appelée Y Bwthyn, a récemment été convertie aux normes les plus élevées en un charmant chalet. L'extérieur en pierre de ce bâtiment classé a été conservé tandis que l'intérieur est ouvert sur 2 niveaux. Il est proche de l'A55. La gare dans la cathédrale et la ville universitaire de Bangor est à 5 minutes en voiture, la jolie ville de Beaumaris est à 10 minutes, la belle station balnéaire de Llandudno est à 40 minutes, la ville médiévale de Chester est un peu plus d'une heure et Holyhead et le ferry pour l'Irlande sont à 30 minutes. Les aéroports les plus proches sont à Manchester et Liverpool, à la fois environ 90 minutes en voiture. Animaux considérés.

The property was very well presented clean and had all the amenities you could need, we could not fault this apartment and would thoroughly recommend

The property inside is immaculate, comfortable and modern, ideal for self catering, but set in the grounds of a large country house. TV, Wi-Fi, bath, shower, fully fitted kitchen and open plan living area. You can enjoy a lovely garden with patio and pond. Feels private but couple who own the property live in the main house and will give you a really warm welcome and lots of help with directions and local travel.
Menai Bridge is a great area, prosperous, lovely shops and facilities literally on your doorstep.
You don't necessarily need to drive to explore local attractions or enjoy walks but obviously it's a great base to explore Anglesey.
Nice restaurants, pubs, scenery and good public transport links should you need them.
We had mixed weather during our stay but thoroughly enjoyed every minute as the cottage is pretty enough and comfortable enough to simply enjoy as home during your stay.
A tonic for the senses and beautifully peaceful.

A fabulous cottage, exceptionally well appointed, set well back from the road, yet only a short walk from restaurants, Waitrose supermarket, the old Menai Bridge and good walking. Mair proved to be the perfect host, being very helpful with recommendations. Suffice it to say, we will be back.

This was a beautiful little home with a magical private garden, which was perfect for glasses of wine of an evening! The location is wonderful, perfect for walks along the beautiful Menai Strait.The home was wonderfully equipped for cooking. We had a lovely relaxing time. We ate at Jade village Cantonese restaurant one night and at Dylan’s waterfront bistro on the second night….both very good & at a short walking distance from letting & reasonably priced.
Lovely walks nearby: little chapel & Belgian Promenade along the Menai straits is just across the road, through the forest.
Also a walk across the suspension bridge is worth doing, with great views & good pubs at both ends!
Would not hesitate to recommend and would love to return some day.

A lovely house in a perfect location, just a few minutes walk from the amazing Menai bridge and river.
The house was well equipped for a comfortable stay and the bed was one of the best we have ever had. Fantastic communication with the owner throughout our booking and so friendly and helpful, would highly recommend this house if you are wanting to visit the area.

The location in Menai Bridge is the gateway to Anglesey but please don't rush off to other parts of the island as you will benefit by exploring what is on the doorstep.
First class restaurants (Sage Kitchen and Freckled Angel), coffee shops and a wonderful little deli, (Dylan's).

Lovely and comfortable
Even before arriving the contact was amazing. Their directions were spot on and parking is easy. From the moment we walked in, the house was clean and beautiful, and the outside space was amazing too. Mair came over to greet us and gave us great tips on what we should do in the area, short cuts to take when walking to the town, and best restaurants to book. They have a lovely dog named Kipper who also greeted us upon arrival. They had fresh flowers and a bottle of wine waiting for us and the space was so nicely arranged and comfortable. We would definitely go back to this place!
One side of the bed was maybe a bit lumpy but it was a good size bed and we slept very well on it.
The cottage is perfectly located to visit anglesey and snowdonia, which has so much to do! Things we wouldn't have known about if it wasnt for Mair, such Parys Mountain.
It was a great couple of days and we look forward to booking a longer stay at this cottage.

The property is even more lovely than the photos on here and the added bonus of a beautiful garden to sit in too! Lots of little extras, all cleaned for safety in the property, condiments and oils and cleaning products, which is great when you are only there for a couple of nights as we were. The location is perfect, close to all restaurants and cafes. Waitrose supermarket across the road and literally a stones throw from the old Bridge. Mair gave us lots of information for arrival and restaurant recommendations too. What a lovely couple and Kipper the super friendly dog. Thank you

I loved the cottage. It’s bright, airy and comfortable. Very clean. The garden is stunning. It’s in the perfect location for exploring Anglesey and North Wales.

Anniversary getaway
We loved the cottage it was so peaceful but yet you had all the amenities just a 10 minute walk away. It was also an ideal place to use as a base to go exploring and the A55 was just a 5 minute drive from the cottage. The owners Mair and Mike were lovely and very welcoming. I would difinately recommend to my family and friends.

Hidden Gem
Myself and my husband stayed for a weekend break. Beautiful romantic getaway. Great location, we loved that so much to do in walking distance. The cottage is tastefully decorated with everything you need. Just a pity we couldn't stay for longer. Hosts on site so communication was excellent. This a lovely relaxing cottage and beautifully rennovated.The owners are very friendly and welcoming.Its only a short distance to the sea and the dramatic bridge structures and the Snowdonia mountian range in the distance. Menai Bridge is a lovely working town and not dominated by the demands of the tourist industry but also has great places to eat and drink.
This is an ideal holiday location for beach holidays .Welsh culture and walking .

This is a most delightful cottage tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard, and ideally situated for exploring Snowdonia as well as Anglesey. The proximity to shops etc in Menai Bridge as well as Bangor make it ideal for self catering although it is tucked away in a very quiet location. We couldn't fault the property nor the hospitality of the owners.

Just lovely
We stayed for a short break at the end of November, such a lovely cottage! Extremely comfortable with everything you could possibly need, the cottage is well positioned for exploring Menai Bridge and the Menai Straits. We had a warm welcome from the owners who were so very helpful right from when we first found the cottage on Owners Direct. The cottage had a beautiful garden which I would love to see in the spring or summer. We would love to return for another break or for longer.

Stunning cottage-the photos don't do it justice. Received a very warm welcome to the property with a bottle of wine and a pint of milk. The cottage was fully stocked with everything you could need.
The cottage was quiet and peaceful even though it was only a 5min walk into the town.
Plenty to see and do in the area. Had a superb time and will definitely keep in mind for our next holiday.
