The breakfast was amazing ! Delicious local products. The employee manage well to help us with luguage and transport to the Plitvice Park. We had a lift to the park and the guy help us to transport our luguage to the park deposit. Greatly appreciated !

The location is perfect, close to National park! Breakfast was very delicious. Daria was very welcoming and helpful! It was a great experience.

The staff was really nice and helpful. She maked you eggs in the morning and there was tea/coffee automat you could freely use.

We thought there was a restaurant inside this place, but it was another of their places nearby you had to go to by car.

There was no option to pay by card for the room and also in the restaurant.

When arriving we were greeted by a host/receptionist who gave us a map with tips on how to complete the national park tour. It turned out though that it was pretty much the way everybody did it (basically you can either do round one way or the other). After that we were told that our room was not in the Golden Lakes building at all, but a couple of minutes car ride away. Not a problem otherwise, but no receptionist on site if you need to ask something and that meant driving for dinner since the other facility does not provide anything but breakfast. So that also meant not being able to have wine with dinner. Also not a big problem,  but would be nice to have a glass of wine with dinner or a cold beer after the hike, but here (in the other premises than the main building) it's not possible if you want to obey the law and not drink and drive. And the dinner then... While checking in we were told that we had to reserve a table for dinner and so we did. In this area you won't find restaurants in walking distance and guests tend to dine in their accommodations. We booked dinner for 8 PM and were there on time, but no tables were available. So the waitress put together a table in the middle of the reception lobby (right next to the restaurant area though, but still not what one might want.) Considering there is basically no competition the guesthouses can charge big money for dinner but if you pay 30€ for a meal it would be decent  for it not to be over cooked piece of salmon and cold potatoes and cold grilled vegetables. We told this to the waitress who seemed to give feedback to the kitchen (being seated in the lobby near the open kitchen door we were able to hear this), but no compensations was offered. Good to keep in mind that here you can't pay anything with a card, so take enough cash with you. Prices are in Euros but were converted to Kunas if you wished to pay that way.

Very nice, clean and quiet location, 3 minutes by car from the Plitvice Lakes entrance no 2. Very friendly staff, they did everything to make us feel like home! I would definitely recommend it!

Great breakfast! A lot to eat.

We stayed in Golden Lake 2. It is a little bit hard to find. The owner should put a sign on the narrow road leading to the building.

Rooms, location, food, amenities were amazing. The main highlight to this hotel is the hospitality of the staff. They went out of their way to be kind and extremely helpful. This was a great experience for us and we definitely plan to visit again! A quiet place to get away from crowds and a beautiful view from your rooms. Would recommend to everyone visiting Plitvice.

There is literally nothing not to like at this place! No doubt, an amazing decision to stay here.
