The hosts were very kind, breakfast was lovely

It is currently undergoing extensive building work directly outside and overhead of the rooms. This morning building work started at 0630, so very loud we were woken up. The building work continued throughout the day with no let up.

Had to pay $7U.S. Each for breakfast a bit of a shock. Owner said “based on our booking”, no breakfast included? Advertised with breakfast. If you get a deal when booking, find out if you can get breakfast first?

Room had all necessary essentials. Pool was a delight. Breakfast was freshly made and delicious. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Dozens upon dozens of ants in the room. Like, more than have been in all of my accommodations over the last multiple months travel through Costa Rica combined.

Very nice and clean accommodation. Pool, A/C, delicious traditional breakfast, 5 min to beach.

The hostess and staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The room and grounds were bigger than I expected. The swimming pool was a nice and relaxing area to lounge, as well the outdoor porch and kitchen. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants, to buy essentials and going to the beach. The area felt safe, which for a solo female traveler is a priority. I would stay there again.

There wasn't a working fridge or air conditioner, however, there were fans in the rooms for comfort. Being there in December, the temperature wasn't too hot being indoors without it. But I live in Florida in the US, so I'm not really bothered much by the heat.
