location is fabulous - very central

don’t go if you are unfit or have mobility issues - we knew these were top floor flats so not a bother but it’s a way up with your luggage and shopping - ps please supply larger mugs and an egg slice in the kitchen

Location is excellent - central and convenient - short walk everywhere! Well appointed apartment with all mod-cons (including large shower). Parking space behind really useful and can imagine invaluable if there in the summer. Excellent comms with owner who was helpful and available when needed. Didn't mind walk up to second floor for front door to accommodation.

Found the sofa bed in the living room quite hard to sit on for any length of time. Twin room was very small with sloping ceiling too (although good use of limited space). Not really suitable to 2no adults sharing but fine for kids. Floors not level given age of house so one bed on a bit of a slope.

A well appointed duplex with everything you need and with a great location only a few minutes walk from the centre but far enough away that there was no late night disturbance or noise. A bonus is the parking space to the rear of the property.

The apartment we stayed in was really nice, but it's on a slant, which is quite disorientating. This is possibly due to the age of the building. We had a good stay though - excellent location, clean and very quiet.

The location is excellent, only a few minutes to the harbour, pubs and restaurants.

Location was amazing. Although we had our aged mother with us so many flights steps were hard. Other than that the quirky slant of the apartment and decor were great. We really enjoyed our stay.

Didn’t realise there were so many stairs. Fine for 3/4 guests.

great flat, in the best location, right in the town centre. a couple of minutes walk to the market where fab fresh fish is sold.

the king size mattress - far too soft, had it not been for this I’d have given this property 10/10!

The flat was self catering with all facilities provided. The best feature of the flat is itslocation within short walking distance of the harbour and town centre. It’s location means it has the benefit of flat access into the centre.

This apartment was everything we expected it to be….it was just like home from home! The kitchen was fully equipped which was great as we don’t dine out every night. The bathroom clean & modern & the bedrooms very comfortable. Only 2 of us but this would still be plenty of room for a family of 4. Matt, our host contacted us prior to arriving with everything we needed to know & assured us he was available anytime to answer any other questions we had. It was actually a lovely surprise to meet him in person when he came to inspect his other apartment prior to other guests arriving…he clearly cares about how his apartments are presented! We would definitely recommend this apartment for the location too as it’s only a couple of hundred yards from the river front & all the shops, restaurants etc & the parking space at the rear of the apartment was an absolute godsend! We will hopefully return to the area in the future & if so will definitely be staying at one of Matt’s accommodations 😊

Superb location close to the harbour and restaurants. Neat and tidy, nautical theme. Comfortable, pleasant ambience.

Requires some attention to detail of fixtures and fittings in the kitchen and bathroom and kitchen cupboard shelves - easily remedied.

easy to collect keys on arrival although we initially went to the wrong entrance at the rear of the property (our fault matt did explain they were at the front entrance)

The top floor room for two beds was a bit tight for two blokes over 6ft but was fine for one and the living room sofa bed was more than comfortable for the other.

Park is really tight for a big car, but friendly neighbours helped by moving cars.

Host communicated well. Appartment had nice decor, and was in close proximity to the nicest parts of town.

There was a strong smell of drains or damp within the apartment. Entrance hall to building was a little underwhelming. And the street outside was very loud because of local pubs. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Great location. Easy walk to shops, restaurants etc and parking at the rear, a real bonus in Dartmouth. Newly refurbished and well presented. Very quick response when reporting a minor issue.

Soundproofing could be improved, always a challenge in older properties and when having connecting doors. Never seen so many sloping floors, walls and ceilings, the kitchen floor having a particularly pronounced slope going uphill to the fridge and downhill to the cooker!
