Der Pool ist klein.

Für 2 Nächte war es ok. Gut war dass das Gelände bewacht war, alkoholfreie Getränke in der Minibar inklusive waren, das Frühstück im Freien am Pool war gut die Lage zum Kreuzfahrtterminal war gut mit dem Taxi waren wir dort in ca 15 Minuten vor einer Kreuzfahrt ist das Hotel ideal

Das Personal hat nur spanisch gesprochen konnte kein englisch. Der Chef war nicht immer da. Unser Safe war defekt und konnte nicht repariert werden. Der Wasserhahn hat gewackelt und das Wasser wurde überall ums Waschbecken verteilt. Das WC war viel zu niedrig, die Matratzen zu hart und nur eine sehr dünne Decke/ Laken. Zum Essen konnte man nur Pizza bestellen die geliefert wurde wir haben versucht zum Supermarkt zu laufen sind dann aber umgedreht außerhalb des Hotels nur Abfall auf den Straßen und verlassene Grundstücke

The staff, from owner to helpers, cleaners and others, were extremely helpful to me and gave attention to detail and personalized service. The breakfast was the best I have ever had in a hotel. It was handmade, fresh, delicious and healthy! Thank you team! You are doing a great job for your customers that want to have a real people's experience in La Romana.

Wir sind jeweils vor und nach unsere Kreuzfahrt im Hotel El Dorado eingekehrt und waren beide Male sehr zufrieden. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zudem waren die Restauranttipps vom Chef wirklich sehr gut. Wir durften sogar am Abreisetag abends noch einmal in einem Zimmer duschen, obwohl wir schon längst ausgecheckt hatten. Die Minibar wird immer aufgefüllt und ist inklusive. Security und das eingezäunte Grundstück gaben einem ein gutes Sicherheitsgefühl.

Leider nur mit Taxi zu erreichen, aber auch da hat der Chef Partner die zu fairen Preisen in die Stadt oder zum Terminal fahren. Also immer über den Chef die Taxis/Transfers bestellen!

Staff was very helpfull. At night for ordering in and also at breskfast. We stayed 1 night and everyone was so friendly and we felt safe on the propety.

The bed was to small for me and my husband and pillows was so flat

Everyone, the administrator, the gatekeeper, and the kitchen staff is so courteous. They make you feel at home, catering to your needs, no matter the time of day. The facilities are clean and beautiful. We enjoyed the surroundings from the balcony on the early mornings and evenings. We will definitely be back!

We did not have any warm water. It is hot, but washing yourself in cold water and then straight out in air conditioned room can cause illness

Private location with a guard on deck 24/7. Breakfast was definitely great! Just right! Rooms were clean and property ground keep was top notch! Family run and well kept! The staff were all very polite and accomodating! The bathroom is beautiful with two sinks! Close to lots of business and shop, three min car ride.

The beds were firm which I love just the frame and bed was much lower then expected, bed felt a bit smaller than a true queen size but like I said its great for the value.

The staff were great, located near the sea, the room was very nice.

Small property where the client stands central. Very helpful owner. He arranged our transfer from the airport and into town. Al perfectly on time and no hassle. And not to forget: he has also a cigar factory with excellent cigars.

Everything was exceptional from the 1st greeting to the end of our stay. Everyone was great, Giovanni the owner, his mom Victoria (I believe that is her name..I apologize if it isn't), Eric (very attentive to our needs and even went the extra mile), Luna (also very attentive and gave very excellent service) and to all the other staff (didn't quite get their names). Next time I'm in the area I will definitely stay there again. There are many other places around, but I don't think I would get the quality of service I got at El Dorado. If this place comes up in your search, please don't hesitate you won't regret it!! Thank you all we really appreciate making our stay wonderful 🙏🏽 ❤️

Everything was great!

El Dorado was a perfect stay! Few minutes to the beach, friendly stuff & excellent breakfast (best on our trip across DR)! “Cherry on the top” was a dinner prepared by the owner Giovanni. Fully recommend this place to all staying in La Romana! We will be back soon

This family run hotel is a joy, such friendly staff, it was a really pleasant stay. The grounds are green and well maintained. The bed was really comfortable, and the room large and bathroom clean and shower good pressure. The breakfast was a real highlight, fresh fruit, eggs and little baked donuts with fresh fruit inside - has to be tasted to be believed!

We booked this hotel for one night prior our Cruise from La Romana. We really enjoyed our time. Giovanni was so nice and welcomed us late. We had a nice, clean room and they even prepared a complimentary minibar with snacks and drinks for us! :-) thanks again! The breakfast was really cute by the pool with different fruits, cereals, toast, pastries, different egg options… All in all we 100% recommend this hotel. We felt really safe.

We loved the pretty layout, the comfortable bed, the stylish bathroom, complete with two sinks, and the incredibly friendly staff. Everyone - the helpful security guard, the welcoming owners and the smiling breakfast servers - wanted to do their best for us. We mentioned when booking that my boyfriend has a gluten intolerance and there was a selection of thoughtfully selected products for him at the breakfast table. The breakfast was excellent!

Giovanni, the owner of this little "island" in La Romana, is a very nice host. I had to deal with a difficult situation and he helped me a lot, without expecting anything in return. All employees were very kind and made my stay very comfortable. I always enjoyed the dinners and they were extraordinary. The hotel is well protected by personal guards which were all very nice. I can only recommend this nice hotel, try it out!
