Great location, easy walk into town. The breakfast was excellent!!! Lovely room, very friendly helpful owners.

Breakfast was tailored to our needs and excellent. The location was perfect for us, just outside the main centre which meant easy to walk into and for taxi ride back.

We enjoyed an excellent breakfast and room, I would recommend burnside to anyone.

The host was warm and always smiling, which made my partner, and I feel at home. She was familiar with the area, which was good for planning and helped with our travels. The accommodation and food were excellent, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a weekend break.

The hosts were lovely, warm and welcoming. The breakfasts were perfect, and the location is great for both the town of Keswick, and for travelling further afield.

The room (no. 3 cosy) certainly was cosy, so the description is accurate, but I did repeatedly bang my leg on the edge of the bed. It wasn't a major problem and it didn't impact our stay here, but it's worth mentioning for future guests to be aware of. The other minor negative was the shower. It did it's job, but again was a little cramped, and the flow was slower than I'm used to. These are both very minor points. We would definitely stay again, but would try to secure a larger room if possible!

Very comfortable bed - we slept very well! Excellent breakfasts and service. Premises very attractively decorated and welcoming.

Very little that could be done better. Our room was quite small, but adequate for our short stay, and we did book it quite late for a busy half-term week, so that was down to us rather than the B&B itself.

Sharon was very welcoming and very helpful with local knowledge. Room was lovely and spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable we had a fantastic sleep. Breakfast was exceptional especially Sharon's homemade vegan sausage. Catered very well for vegan / vegetarians. The full English was also cooked to perfection using local produce. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again ☺️

Sharon was the perfect host she was very knowledgeable and helpful, her breakfast was probably the best we have had anywhere, the bedroom was very clean and comfortable, the location was a short lovely walk away from the main town centre.

Absolutely fantastic, clean and very spacious room. Very friendly owner, nothing was too much trouble for them, very accommodating and very knowledgeable about the local area and further afield. The breakfast was absolutely superb. Both myself and my partner would definitely recommend staying here. I look forward to our next visit, and wish we knew about this gem of a B&B on previous visits.

Good selection and very nice

Absolutely loved my stay. The room was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. The bed was really comfy, cooked breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of orange juice and freshly brewed coffee. Sharon was really friendly and helpful and gave us lots of help on where to go. Would absolutely recommend.

The breakfast was lovely. Cooked fresh to order and when we arrived in the room. Great selection of cereals available. There are some really nice little touches like the little glass bottles the orange and milk comes in. The breakfast room is really nice and has a lovely view out of the window. The room was wonderful. Really clean and well presented. The furniture is old fashioned, but it's suits how the room is decorated. The beds were really comfortable. Great view by the road. Great facilities in the room. Shower was really nice. Sharron is a wonderful host and willing to help make your stay there as good as possible.

The room is smaller than it looks in the photos and the bottom of the wardrobe looked a little bit old and dodgy. That's it, the room really is nice.
