I like the location. We could see Mount Fuji on the lake it was gorgeous. The staff was very nice. We got a complimentary tee on arrival☺️. The inside and outside bath are great.

It’s a bit dated, but it’s not a problem because everything is clean.

Fuji mt is out the window - front view. Staff is amazingly welcoming, helpful and kind. Rooms give authentic Japanese atmosphere.

Wonderful and amazing stay here in a beautiful location. The views of Mount Fuji are stunning and it’s so peaceful to relax in your traditional room looking out across the lake. The staff are super friendly and nice! There’s free coffee in the morning and a lovely Onsen to have a hot dip! I want this place to stay a secret. It’s an older hotel but they have spent in the good places the bathrooms are lovely!

景色素晴らしい、部屋もまあまあ快適でした！夜中でも無人カウンターからカップラーメンや、ビールとか買えるし、湖まですぐなので、穴場で最高でした。

家具やはり少しお古ですね、こういう雰囲気好きな方もいらっしゃると思いますが、座椅子結構年代物で、あんまり座りたくない。　革のスリッパーすごい履きにくく、危ないです。階段上ったり、下ったりしているときに何度も転がりそうでした。

Tiene una vista preciosa al monte fuji, todas sus habitaciones la tienen. El personal es muy amable y agradable. Están disponibles batas típicas de Japón para tener la experiencia completa. El personal al llegar te saca fotos con el monte.

　部屋から見える「精進湖・富士山」の景色がとても良いですね。写真をたくさん撮りました！　すぐ近くにキャンプサイトがあり、冬キャンプを楽しんでるキャンパーさんもいましたね。 　12月23,24日と友人と2人で宿泊させてもらいました。スタッフさんの対応も丁寧で、チェックインとチェックアウトの際にはコーヒーなどのサービスもありました。 　 　「素泊まりプラン」でのネット予約が完了した後のメールに「必要に応じてお食事などをご自由にご持参ください」と連絡がありましたので、食事には困りませんでした 　大浴場もあり、15:00〜8:00まで利用できました。 湯船に浸かり、旅の疲れを癒すことができたおかげで、2日目の旅もスッキリした状態で楽しめました！

　私も友人も特に気にしませんでしたが、人によってはシャワールームの蛇口が古いと感じると思います。 ですが、冬の旅先で暖かいシャワーを浴びて、湯船に浸かり、ふかふかのベッドで寝られる事の有り難み。今回の楽しい旅行の大きな土台になってくれたと思ってます。

部屋から富士山が良く見えた。スタッフの方がとても親切でした。ペットも宿泊出来た。

洗面所が少し使いづらかった。4Fの部屋に宿泊しましたがエレベーターが無い為、階段移動は大変でした。

Love the warm welcome by the staffs + the welcome drink & fuji biscuits with view of Mt.Fuji at the lobby. Love the Mt.Fuji view from our Japanese tatami room, and love that we have our own private toilet and bathroom. Love that they had a newly renovated outdoor onsen and sauna area. Really loved the rooftop terrace--perfect for moon watching by night, and a great place to sip coffee while enjoying a breezy view of Mt Fuji and Shoji Lake. It felt like a spacious tree house up there! The staffs were always so kind and helpful. We loved it here and look forward to coming back again with friends and family. ☺

The main lobby and facilities have been updated and renovated. So hopefully the main corridors, which looks its age, will be refurbished with new carpets soon. Also kinda sad the dining hall with amazing view of Fuji isn't open at the moment. There were no food served in the hotel, so we ventured out to restaurants nearby--but they close early, by 6pm! So plan to have dinner early if eating out.

The view of Mount Fuji is absolutely breathtaking. We had the view from our balcony. There's also a public bath that is quite fine too.

It is a bit far from everything. It's convenient if you go by car. I'm not sure if it's a good choice if you go by other means of transportation.

Mountain and lake view directly from our balcony. Staff were friendly and tried to help as best they could even with the limited English they knew. Went above and beyond during our stay in helping us with our transportation issue.

More secluded but that makes it difficult to get a taxi to the hotel if you don't catch the bus near the main bus station and requesting for a taxi from the hotel can have a wait time of 1+ hour. Bus stop directly in front of hotel but only comes every few hours and stops around 5pm. That's how the transportation system works around Mt Fuji though.

Very patient, helpful host and staffs and very cozy room with history, super amazing lake and Fujisan view, and amazing outdoor hot onsen and sauna. We enjoyed a very fruitful 4-day and night photography trip!

No elevator. Bus schedule to kawaguchiko station not accurate, would have missed our flight if we didn’t just rent a car to go to the station. Not much places to go to eat.

Nice staff when you arrive, who ignore you when you leave. Amazing view over Fuji San, luckily we saw him.

Old, old, old. The hotel is blocked in the 60's. All equipments in the rooms are more than used, beds are a scam. Forget about it if you do not have a car, it is far from everywhere. I personally wish I would have avoided the microwave dinner as expensive as in a restaurant to eat ready made junk food. And we are all shocked by the fact that they just ignored our messages when we realised that we forgotten a valuable belonging. The view is astonishing but we all kept a very bitter memory of our stay.

Breakfast was not available. Limited food options in immediate area however was told this when inquired about meals. However, with Mt fuji views and quiet location traveling for meals were not the priority

Such a beautiful location! I would love to spend a week here just touring around and kayaking on the lake. The onsens were relaxing and the staff were so welcoming and helpful! The juice and cookie when we walked in the door was perfect as well. :)
