It's a spacious apartment in two-storey house in a village at the outskirts of Nova Gorica town, right on the Italian border. It's on the main road of a sleepy village, therefore, calm and quiet, yet few minutes on foot from a local bakery, shop and a burger place. We were greeted by the most welcoming, yet unimposing, hosts and spent part of the evening together learning of the local history (turbulent and exciting, but narrated by our hosts in calm and wisdom). The owners used to run a vine cellar, so we also got some precious insights into local vine tradition and local grape varieties. Vines from local producers are also on sale here. The apartment is spacious and impeccably clean, very well equipped even for a longer stay, and sleeping is first-class. The location is perfect for a relaxing stay and some outdoors activities; we could see many cyclists and trackers buzzing around.

A wonderful, spacious apartment which contains everything you could ever need. It is very clean and comfortable. Owners live upstairs and are very friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to use their large back garden - we had our breakfast out there.

Nothing! Parking is in a public car park next door (free) - this did not bother us.

Very comfortable, beautiful and clean apartments in a convenient and quiet location. Marjetka and Toni are very pleasant hosts and you can see how much they love their home and take care of it. Thank you for all! ❤️

No breakfast but there is a nice kitchen so it is easy to get your own. We only stayed one night but it suited us perfectly, and the hosts were exceptionally welcome and helpful. Despite the main road outside it was not noisy, and there is a lovely garden out the back. Easy to find and there is free parking just round the corner.

The host were amazing. So friendly! and they know a lot about history and funny facts about the country. The apartment had everything we needed, especially the laundry. The place is located in a quiet neighborhood, near supermakets, bakeries and the river. The bed is amazing, and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Not bad, but important to know: The toilet is far from the room, but not a big problem to get in the night. The parking space is in a parking lot next to the building, it is safe. The room is next to the main street.

We booked for one night on our trip between Italy and Slovenia and we wished we could have stayed longer. The town was lovely and we would have liked to explore Nova Gorica more. The apartment was lovely and the gardens were incredible. Our stay was more like a home stay and we had the warmest welcome from Toni who very kindly met us and gave us a tour of the area including a visit to the border. We enjoyed some glasses of wine in their garden playing with the cats and learning about the area. Toni was clearly very proud of the town and was a wine enthusiast which we appreciated. I’m the morning we hiked along the Soca river to the Solkan Bridge and had a swim in the river. It was just 5 minutes from the apartment and the most relaxing start to the day. We bought some of the wine which was available at the apartment and can honestly say it was the best wine we had in Slovenia… perhaps the best red and white wine we have enjoyed in a long time, just €12 for the two bottles, which, based on the quality was amazing. We wish we could have carried more. The apartment was spacious and had everything you could possibly need for a longer stay including a coffee machine and lots of cooking equipment. There were plenty of towels and toiletries available including access to a washing machine if you needed it. The train station was just 10 minutes away with a bakery, supermarkets and restaurants close to the apartment.

Genuinely… nothing at all, everything we needed was there and the welcome was exceptional. The only thing we didn’t like was not being able to stay longer.
