Great atmosphere in an old building which seems full of history, very friendly staff, very quiet and peaceful place

A well maintain 100 year old building. Warm heating system, well equip kitchen. Spacious room, clean bathroom & shower area

Old used furniture in the room. One of the single bed with bended slats, the matress is not thick and therefore can feel the bend in the middle of the bed

A beautiful and charming old house not too far away from city center, services and tourist attractions. Swimming hall, sports hall and running trails are next to the hostel. A good stay for families during autumn vacation.

The beds are a bit uncomfortable for a heavy adult customer. One should ask for an extra mattress for his/her bed. A bit squeaky beds and floors, but hey - its an old house. I also didn't have much hopes of air conditioning, but luckily the window can be opened.

I liked everything. From the moment I steped into the building and was greeted by lovely Tuija, I felt like home. The place is so very clean, and has such a lovely atmosphere. There are all the fascilities to have a comfortable stay, including fully equipped kitchen, big bathroom with loads of pegs and shelves, fridge in the room and lovely communal spaces. The building looks fabulous and is about 10-15 mins walk from the town centre with all the amenities. There is a community pool right next to the hostel, with a lovely local cafe that serves buffet breakfast, reasonably priced. Superb place to be.

Interesting history - former Maternity hospital. Basic but great value for money.

Linen and towels were very well used... but clean and fresh. Shower area needs updating.

This place is amazing with such a nice staff. We forgot our keys inside and the lady who was in charge drove all the way from her home and open the door for us, she was so kind, beyond words. Nice facilities. Building is old but this is what makes it unique and antique. We had a great time there.

Very beautiful hostel with an interesting history, well equipped rooms and very amazing staff! The kitchen was also very spacious and the whole place was clean. Linen and towels were provided.

Understandably since the building is very old there is practically no sound proofing, so it can be very noisy. The mattress in the bed could be renewed, practically I felt the bottom of the bed through it while sleeping.
