Location - Perfecto. Staff - Superb. Facilities - Clean y Comfortable. Desayuno - Rica.
Wi-fi strong when I arrived. No Wi-fi en la manana - 5g on Phone. Wi-fi returned en la manana just as I was leaving.
Electrical system just strong enough to charge phone/watch... Almost. Enough to get me through the dia. The Ambience of the room, Hotel, Staff, comida, location and security ... more than outweighed less than full charge on phone.

I loved the art deco 1950s of the whole hotel. In fact the hotel was built in 1948 and still has the original elevator and rooms. I loved the restaurant. Very good food at a very reasonable price. Excellent service! Excellent location ... it is in fact at the corner with the main plaza and in the middle of the pedestrian area. We didn't even need the car to see the whole center of Leon.. It is less than 10 minutes walking distant from the Cathedral and the arc of Leon. I Think Leon is also a very nice city to visit and to experience.
Some rooms need TLC work and the bathrooms could be restored always keeping the same style. The hotel is old but with a nice charming personality. I liked the atmosphere but I think it could benefit from a restoration.

Ample room, old hotel with little modern amenities, but lots of character. Conveniently located in the Downtown area. Amazing breakfast, the vintage elevator is simply gorgeous. Staff was incredibly friendly.
The single elevator is beautiful, yes, but it has an operator and sometimes it takes a long time to get service on busy days. A loose cable hanging from the roof was being moved by the wind and created a horrible banging noise against the hotel's facade, and we had to call the front desk late at night since we couldn't fall asleep. Some areas are in dire need of renovation.

Location, great restaurant, staff, lobby. Stayed in 2 different rooms both very tired, ancient carpet,on air shafts and one of rooms no A/C only a fan...hot, stuffy and uncomfortable

THE SHOWER WAS AWFUL. THE SHOWERHEAD WAS CLOGGED AND SPRAYED IN ALL DIRECTIONS. Warm WATER TOOK SEVERAL MINUTES TO ARRIVE.

Carpet in room was filthy. Cockroaches crawling around at night. Terrible sour smell in room. Bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable.

They have a beautiful lobby area, bedroom was outdated, not so clean, really bad drainage problem in the shower and you can see mold in the bathroom ceiling

Good location near central square. Front staff polite and professional. Older character hotel. Room clean, comfy bed, toilet works. Breakfast not included in price, but good, in old-fashioned, popular restaurant.
Hallways and rooms showing age. Carpets need replacing. A/C works, but noisy.

The hotel is showing wear. It lacks lustre.

Older property, seems it used to be spacial but is now very run down with unclean carpeting in the corridors and bedrooms.
Most of the furnishings and touches that are shown in the photos are now gone from the rooms
in need of cleaning, recarpeting, refurnishing and a lot of maintenance.
