We konden bij aankomst gelijk nog een bordje voor de lunch krijgen en 's ochtends om 5 uur al ontbijt. Alles smaakte prima! Onze lodge was schoon, ruim en we hebben heerlijk geslapen. De WiFi was heel goed, we konden videobellen met familie in onze eigen lodge zonder haperingen. Het zwembad is fijn om in te duiken na weer een dag wandelen, het ligt alleen eind van de middag in de schaduw.
Deze lodge ligt wat verder in Sangalle, dus je moet nog een stukje verder lopen. Verder een fijn verblijf gehad!

We were super pleasantly surprised by this place! (I think they’ve taken on board a lot of feedback from previous comments). Our little hut (room and adjoining bathroom) were super comfortable and clean. The dinner was a good feed (and they asked straight away if anyone was vegetarian - which I am - and the gave me the best omelette I’ve had in ages). And the breakfast was really tasty. (Also extra tip - when you get back up to Cabanaconde exhausted after your hike, we had amazing (be it super simple) fresh fried egg rolls from the “fast food restaurant” a couple of doors down, on the right, in the main square.)
It is not we’ll sign-posted but it is on Map Me. And we just asked lots of people and found it relatively easily.

Amazing place with great service! We had really delicious dinner the night we came and also they've prepared great breakfast (at 5am) the day were were climbing back to Cabaconde. Rooms were clean, electricity available. Nothing to complain about.

overall the place is nice to stay. They have a beautiful garden and swimming pool.
6 /6 travellers got sick from the food they served. We’ve also spoken to different travelers who got sick from food in the same place. This really messes up your stay and makes the hike back up to cabanacombe terrible!

the pancakes were delicious and included in the price of the stay. the staff was extremely friendly. the bed was very comfy.

Beautifully situated place with refreshing pool! The staff were very helpful arranging the transportation back to Cabanaconde since we had decided, after 2 days of trekking, to ride the mules. We were amazed at the skill of the mules to climb such an arduous canyon with us on their backs. Quite an experience!

I would like to have an opinion about the breakfast but it didn't happen in real terms. We had to do the trail (all the way up - Colca) without a proper meal. It would be also nice to have more info on the way to the accomodation (for the ones coming from San Juan). We almost went crazy to find it.

Everything was good. The owners were really nice and helpful. The place was really beautiful, the swimming pool was a joy after long hike. Food was delicious and cheap, breakfast was also good. Really comfortable beds.

Nice pool, clean rooms, good dinner. Try to arrive early, as the sun sets behind the mountains around 14.30-15.
Breakfast starts usually at 5.30, but we asked to have it at 5.00 and they were happy to serve it by that time. Good service.

The pool is great after a day of hiking. But best of all is the great host! He even got up at half past 4 to make us breakfast for the hike out of the canyon.

The lodge has a very nice garden which you can enjoy after your trek. The location is very nice and the staff is super helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay a lot.0

Freddy was a super nice host. The dinner, lomo saltado with spaghetti, was very tasty. As was the large pancake breakfast. Good atmosphere and great pool. The rooms were large, comfortable and very clean. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Kind of oasis in the Colca Canyon, fantastisch pool to het rif of the dust of a day’s hike. Nice garden, don’t leave before breakfast, you netter climb to Cabanaconde on pancakes.
Dinner was basic bug sufficiënt.

Awesome stay in a beautiful place. The pool is great, the location is absolutely beautiful. The owner's supernice, we could check-in early.
Me and my buddy both got some stomach issues after diner, must have been bad luck.

the pool water was warm. I wish I had arrived earlier to enjoy it.
also the room was simple but warm and nice. I had a hot shower (remember the hot water is only available during the day since obviously they use solar power for it)
the portion of the breakfast was a bit small. I was starving when I climbed back to cabananconde
