Loved our visit. Cabin was perfect walking distance to heart of medicine park. Communication with host was amazing, great family guy that invests in people having a place to get away from the world. We WILL be back. As a mother with little boys the house was easy to keep clean and was especially clean when we arrived.

Communication was A++ and cleanliness was immaculate. Will stay here again on my next visit. Ive stayed at many cabins in medicine park due to family living there and hands down this was the best experience. Host is awesome!!

Stayed in the area for two nights visiting family. The Flute Player was located in a great location. Cute, comfortable and clean. Supplied with everything we needed. The screened in porch was a bonus!! Host was very responsive. We will definitely stay again.

Seldom can I say a stay has been perfect but this is an exception. We will definitely be visiting again.

Quiet and comfortable

The cabin was great! It was very clean, well kept. All the people in Medicine Park were incredibly freindly and outgoing. We had a blast, including our dog, the most dog freindly place we've ever been!

Second time I have stayed here. Always clean and nice and very well appointed. Great location in relation to Medicine Park activities. I'll be back.

We came last year in the spring for the first time and stayed here. Charming , well decorated , very peaceful and everything you need and it is very comfortable. The bed is super comfy , and the windchimes that play are beautiful in tone and sound. Great location also , close to so much ! We will keep returning for encores from the flute player ! Phenomenal communication with the hosts also ! 5 out of 5 !

This property was quiet with ample parking and a wonderful bed. It's basically a one-room house with a bathroom and a huge bathtub. The kitchen was well-supplied with coffee, bottled water and seasonings. It was fine for two but would be crowded for 3 or more adults. The second bed is a smaller convertible, which would be best for smaller kids. There is a "loft" for a fifth very short person with no headroom and a steep ladder. The screened-in porch was nice and was a good place to remove boots and leave slippers. I would definitely stay here again. The host was very accessible for questions.

This place is awesome. Everything you could need is there minus groceries. We stayed here kind of last minute and we're so glad did. Very clean,quiet and comfortable. A very nice pet friendly place that you would never know a pet had been there. This one is definitely on the list of future stays.

We came for our anniversary trip to stay at the Flute Player and the place was perfect for us. Just a short walk to downtown and we especially enjoyed the screened in porch in the evenings. We were able to listen to the music from downtown while we sat on the porch. The cabin had everything we needed. Plenty of blankets, towels, and amenities. Though we used the microwave, coffee pot and beer mugs from the freezer, at most, in the kitchen, we still think it supplied what we would direly need. We enjoyed getting to try out the restaurants downtown rather than cook at the cabin. Speaking of, we highly recommend eating at the Old Plantation Restaurant and stopping at the Cobblestone Creamery for some coconut ice cream. BK was easily reachable, quick to respond and very friendly in messaging. We got to meet Joe personally upon leaving and he let us tour their new cabin that’s currently being remodeled - the Lone Oak cottage (if I’m remembering correctly), and it is a VERY nice place you’ll want to reserve if it’s available! It’s one the 6 cottages that are sitting on the same lot as the Flute Player. All in all, we plan to return. Thanks Joe and BK for hosting this great place for a trip of adventure in Medicine Park!

Location is perfect just 2 min walk to swim/fishing area. The flute player was clean and cozy. Loved the screend in frontporch. Host is very accommodating, highspeed internet. Super comfy bed. Petfriendly. only downside climbing stairs to get to the cottage.

Loved the space with our 2 dogs Howdy and Audie. Plan to come back soon….✌️

Sadly, on the night of our arrival Medicine Park Public Works turned off the water to our cottage in order to fix a nearby leak. Due to this, we were unable to stay through no fault of the owners. Before we realized the city would be unable to fix the water issues, we went inside the cottage and it was perfect. Clean, cute, and just as described. Location is great! The self check-in process was easy. The owners were easy to reach, responded IMMEDIATELY, apologized (even though this was out of their control), didn't charge us, offered to make it up to us down the road... I would love to go back and spend time in this cute cottage!

This was perfect for my short hiking trip. Comfortable and clean with everything you need in the heart of Médecine Park, just outside the Wichita Mountain animal refuge with its many trails.

We stay in medicine park often and this was one of the best if not the best cabins we’ve stayed at. BK Delbert were great hosts and very friendly and accommodating! We’re looking forward to staying there again!

Me & my bestie had a great short stay here. We've stayed in many cabins in Medicine Park but I loved the location of this one. It had everything we needed. The screened in porch was definitely a fave!

Wanted a quiet weekend away and this was perfect. Walk to restaurants and shops. Wichita Mt reserve was short drive. The town of Medicine Park is full of history. Met the owner, Joey. Great host and hostess

Stayed in the cabin overnight so we could have extended time in the Wichita mountains. Loved the peaceful cabin. The kitchen was just the right size and everything seemed well cared for. My teenage daughter loved the loft sleeping space. We enjoyed the added bonus of walking around in Medicine Park along the river and on to the bakery for breakfast. We will be back!

My husband and I came for 3 days/2 nights to explore Medicine Park and the Wichita Mountain Refuge The cabin exceeded our expectations in cleanliness, utilization of space, and just all the little special touches! The screened in porch was wonderful, and the grill provided was very nice! Short walk to Medicine Park stores & restaurants. Short drive to the wildlife refuge. Communication with the owner was excellent. We highly recommend this property!

Everything went well with the following exceptions. A blender that didn’t work. Two hand electric mixers with out any paddles or blade wasn’t really like the procedure of cleaning dishes and silverware. We did clean them.

We had a very relaxing weekend, and the accommodations are always extraordinary!!

Property owners had thought of everything except satellite went out in the storm and there wasn’t any cell service and no dvd player 😢. Literally the only missing item.

Overall everything was great, clean, only a few steps to the water, easy parking, there is a loft with a bed that would be fun for kids to sleep, overall a great place.
