I recommend staying at Bob's place. Stirling is a pretty city and next to other places by railway. Bob's very friendly and helpful and his home has got all you need.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at the property. Great location close to all attractions and free parking on the drive. Host lives in the main house attached and is easy to reach if any issues arise. Beautiful garden which our daughter immensely enjoyed specially the friendly cats and dog.

I can't say enough positive things about my stay at Bob's rental, and I wholeheartedly agree with the other reviews included here. It's even more beautiful than it looks in the photos, it's in a great location that's a short walking distance from the downtown area and Stirling castle, it's in a nice and quiet neighborhood, and it has all of the amenities you need. Bob is an amazing host who is very generous and kind, responds promptly and is a great conversationalist. This was by far one of the best vacation rentals I have experienced, and I hope to rent from Bob again when I plan on returning to Stirling next year. I highly recommend this rental.

Bob is a great host and has a lovely comfortable property. Lovely little patio in his beautiful garden. 3 sweet cats that stay outdoors, a lovely dog that stays with Bob but will say hello if you want it to. Close to the Smith Art Gallery, Stirling Castle, shops and restaurants. We would love to stay here again if we are ever back in Stiling.

Bob's place is situated on the outskirts of Stirling, so that you can reach both the citycenter and the highway easily. The apartment is very cosy and well equipped with a high standard. It is also quiet in the night.
Bob is a friendly host with lots of useful informations. The kitchen was lovingly
equipped with everything we needed for a breakfast the next day and even more. Very nice place, highly recommended.

This must be one of the prime spots to stay in Stirling, next to the Kings Park and Stirling Castle; 10 minute walk into town and to the train station. In a quiet but very central location. Fantastic to have off road parking available. I left my car most days and used the train to get around. Very comfortable annex, has everything you could need, including a fantastic, huge tv in the sitting area. Cosy and welcoming. Bob is a fantastic host. Highly recommend this place.

Wonderful property and host! We were welcomed by Bob as if we had known him for years! The property was beautiful and very cozy. We wanted to end our trip to UK by relaxing and unwinding before heading back to the states. This property exceeded our expectations! The yard was spacious and full of beautiful flowers! Bedroom, bath, kitchen and living area were perfect! Thanks Bob for everything!

The apartment was very clean and comfortable and
had everything we needed. It was charming and the back garden was lovely (even if the rain prevented us from sitting outside)
The location was ideal for us. It was a short walk to downtown and attractions, the train station, and it was right next to Kings Park. The neighborhood was amazing and with the park and golf course nearby it made for very nice walks.
Our host Bob was always available with stories and advice and he went “the extra mile” to make sure our stay was as fun and enjoyable as possible. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Stirling area!

Liked that we could walk around Stirling without needing our car, and ease of access to motorway when we were travelling out of town.
Nice natural light and big bathroom. Liked lots of storage and heated blanket on the bed. Received helpful tips on sights and places to eat from our host.

Small but perfectly formed (as they say). Totally spotless + lovely and warm (even though minus degree temperatures outside). Very homely and didn't feel like a short stay rented property. Everything you wanted was there to hand. Also, gorgeous garden as outlook from living room patio doors. PM/Landlord (Bob) was lovely too and couldn't do enough for us if we asked but, at the same time, left you to it and wasn't intrusive in any way. Would definitely look to stay here again on next visit to Stirling. Loved it and ....... missing it already.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Stirling stay. The location was perfect to see the city on foot and get to the train station easily for day trips. Food shops nearby and despite being close to the city centre, the street itself was very quiet. Bob was a great host who greeted us upon arrival and kept us entertained and informed with stories and local tips. The shower was nice and hot, the kitchen more than adequate for our needs and the living space in the sun room was lovely after a long day of exploring. Highly recommend this place to anyone. If we’re ever back to Scotland, we would happily stay here again. Thanks, Bob.

Bob's place is charming.
Every thoughtful consideration has been made to anticipate what is needed for a nice stay. The space really is quite large with a light filled sitting room looking out on a nicely manicured garden. I appreciated the location, just a quick walk down the street and you are in central Stirling with a variety of shops, restaurants, train station and the castle. I am so happy we found this gem of a pace!

Lovely little place, great location, very clean and comfy
I stayed here with my mom for a few nights and found this space to be simply charming! Plenty of room for the two of us. Loved the wet room, the bedroom was super cute. I wish we had more time there because the location was ideal for seeing all of the sights in and around the city. Our host, Bob, was just next door and was readily available for questions and offered suggestions on where to go and what to see. Hope we can come back again sometime!

Stirling Flat
This flat sits across the street from the back way to Stirling Castle and a short walk to the Smith Museum and Café. The flat is cozy, warm, seats four people in the kitchen and seven comfortably in the sitting room. The large coffee table works well for board games or puzzles. Daylight (if not sunlight) brightens this room. The kitchen has a genius microwave that also bakes and grills, and a pulley system that line dries even jeans overnight! We found in the bedroom a comfortable bed, plenty of storage for our two-week stay, a second TV and a safe. We also appreciated the vestibule where we could doff wet coats and shoes and enjoy the flat in our stocking feet as we do at home. Bob is a welcoming and friendly host who quickly responds to queries. We highly recommend this flat.
We also could offer a review of Stirling, a walkable town full of history and good places to eat. If you're interested in the opinions of an older couple visiting in the winter from the Pacific Northwest, we recommend: The Castle (don't miss the rose garden in the summer or the café anytime), The William Wallace Monument (with several levels on which to learn more history while catching one's breath on the climb), The Smith Museum, Stirling Made Galleries and Shop (for gifts), Darnley Coffee House (open 10-4), The Portcullis (fireside pub food), Napizza (eat there if possible), Green Gates (Indian cuisine), Friend of Mine (café in Bridge of Allan with interesting, vegetarian-friendly menu), and travel by Scotrail whenever possible.

Beautiful accommodation, fantastic Host & amazing location.
Outstanding Host. Helpful, efficient and very pleasant. Apartment is stylish and very comfortable. Off street car parking in front of entrance was great. Huge open shower in spacious bathroom. Washer in kitchen with Pulley Clothes Airer was fantastic. The architecture of the building and the entire immediate area is stunning. Beautiful lush rear garden. Close enough to walk to Stirling Castle, Old Town and into the City Centre for restaurants, Pubs etc., The nearby Sainsbury’s was easy for groceries and has an impressive restaurant for a healthy breakfast for an early start exploring. So many historical places are easy to visit from Stirling which was a good size to use as a base and is a very pretty old town. We recommend Culross, Douane Castle and Falkland Palace all advised of by our wonderful Host.
