A perfect property, cannot wait to visit again.

Paul couldn't have been more welcoming to this beautiful property. We stayed for 2 nights with friends we haven't seen for 12yrs to attend a wedding close by. The atmosphere of peace and tranquility was the perfect backdrop for our weekend.

Had the most wonderful stay. Paul was fantastic, so helpful and friendly. The Oak was amazing, such a beautiful property in stunning surroundings. Loved the hens!!! Definitely be back again with more family 😊

Last minute booking which went with a hitch. Lodge was perfect for our family and well equipped. My 1 year loved the chickens and sheep wanting to go and see them at any point she coukd. a beautiful house and beautiful surroundings to have a great holiday. The house is equipped with everything you need. There was a beautiful bunch of sunflowers on arrival and everything was ready for a nice cup of coffee or tea. Beds were already made and the house was super clean. A lovely quiet holiday spot. Paul, Ann and their daughter are very friendly and will do anything for you. They also give good tips for nice excursions. Nothing is too much, very sweet, helpful people. A nice place to come back again!

These lodges are ideally situated to get away from it all, which was just what we needed. Beautiful setting, complete with daily visits from the chickens. Perfectly located to explore all the south Devon coast has to offer, but situated high up near heathland with stunning views of the estuary and the rolling hills. The lodge had everything we needed and after a warm welcome, Paul and Anna left us alone to explore, with a phone number should we want help or advice. Thank you very much. It was everything we hoped.

Beautifully designed house that was very warm and spacious. Kitchen facilities excellent and the location was great for lots of fun local activities for the family.

This property was well equipped and very clean. Although there were other cottages and caravans, you still had your own privacy due to the layout. I would recommend this property.

Lovely rural setting within easy reach of all amenities and coast. Championship golf course/spa on the doorstep was a bonus!

Superb host who not only checked we had everything we needed at the house but provided outstanding recommendations for our daily excursions. We absolutely loved our staff and would recommend highly. The holiday home has been furnished to an exceptionally high standard and was very comfortable for a family of 4 adults. It stands in a tranquil setting looking out across open pastureland. The property is very well-equipped and every fine detail had been thought of to make this a superb place to stay. We would love to return soon.

Perfectly located in such a picturesque area, but within easy distance to town and Devon coastline. Throughly enjoyed our morning visit form the hens :). Paul is an excellent host, very accommodating and easy to chat to. Very tranquil which is just what we were looking for!

An outstanding property in a great location.

Great family friendly property in close proximity to the Jurassic coast.

Situated near to several family-friendly local attractions and less than forty minutes' drive to Exeter city. Lodge in a cosy farm location set amongst neighbouring lodges and caravan spaces, with plenty of farm animals to keep the children occupied! Unfortunately, tumble dryer did not seem to work but heated towel rails served as an alternative. Received a very warm welcome from Paul who was more than happy to accommodate our various requests throughout our stay, without hesitation. A pleasure to deal with from beginning to end.

What an outstanding experience from the second we got there till the time we left. Paul was warm, welcoming and a real pleasure to spend time with. Put us at ease, showed us our home for the week. Absolutely stunning property in such beautiful surrounds. Attention to detail has to be experienced to be believed. It's like they've covered every single base including the basics you forget (milk and sugar) and the obvious things... washing powder :). Seriously everything was in reach. Warm, cosy, relaxing and everything our family needed to just worry about one thing, having a nice time. Beds were comfortable, plenty of space and luxury throughout. Friendly chickens and ducks (my son loved the animals). Most importantly, it felt like home. Cannot thank Paul enough. What a gentleman and what a beautiful place to spend the week with my family.

Overall, we had a lovely stay at Oak Lodge with our family. Paul was a lovely host and helpful, greeting us on arrival. It was in a good location - lots to do in the area and it was in a lovely setting. The lodge was nice and had all the required facilities, e.g. all relevant kitchen utensils, washing machine, microwave, but could maybe do with upgrade to bedroom furniture. The lodge was clean but could have been a little cleaner, e.g. cobwebs in between doors and walls and the bathrooms smelt a bit damp. However, it was overall such a brilliant lodge and would recommend to those looking for a holiday home for a break.

Beautiful property in a wonderful setting.

What a wonderful property in a superb location. Waking up to look at sheep and the quite rural location is perfect for children. It’s our second year back and the property continues to be maintained to a high standard. There is no shortage of utensils , and has all the mod cons required for a self catered stay. The proprietors are wonderful and welcoming and there if you need anything. Location is great and we accessed a lot of activities in Devon. Our family is very much looking forward to our next visit.

Oak Lodge is in a lovely setting, utterly peaceful. The accommodation is very comfortable with attractive furnishings, great views, good wifi, The kitchen is really well equipped and easy to use. We all slept well on superb beds. Paul was very helpful and it was reassuring to know advice was on hand if needed. Would love to stay again.
