Twistlewood est un logement hautement souhaitable, confortable, lumineux et aéré, meublé avec goût partout. et décoré dans des tons ruraux calmes. Situé dans un endroit paisible Wootton est d'env. 1/2 mile du village de Bashley où vous trouverez une station-service de poste / magasin, 2 jardineries et 2 très bons magasins de ferme. Aventurez-vous plus loin et vous trouverez la ville de New Milton avec une High Street bien aménagée avec des banques, des supermarchés et des boutiques de cadeaux. Une gare ferroviaire principale et un excellent service de bus pour vous emmener à travers la forêt. À seulement 13 km, vous trouverez la ville géorgienne de Lymington avec de nombreux magasins, bars, cafés et restaurants. Les plages de Barton on Sea, Milford on Sea, Highcliffe et Mudeford sont toutes facilement accessibles.

Overall the property is in a great location and convenient to visit the new forest. The property is very well equipped and everythimg is provided for a short stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Our only comment in regard to an improvement is a better quality mattress would enhance the stay.

Fantastic location. Lovely owners, very friendly and helpful. Central to most areas of The New Forest and surroundings. Very quiet even with the visiting ponies and cows. Alfie the springer was a joy and he’s not allowed in the annex. Highly recommend. Enjoy!

The property was an excellent base for us during our 3 week stay in the UK. It was very peaceful and was made unique by the visit of forest animals along the track outside the property. The annexe has all the facilities that you need. The lovely basket of goodies on arrival was very welcome. Lovely hosts too!

We had a lovely peaceful and enjoyable stay at Twistlewood, the property itself was well equipped and we had everything we needed for a very pleasant stay, not forgetting the lovely breakfast hamper left for us by Kay and Kelvin. The New Forest is so enjoyable seeing all the ponies close up and lovely walks.

Everything seemed to be ok, until we were awoken at 2am on the first night by someone screaming "Help!". They sounded extremely distressed. We couldn't see anyone. We were terrified and fled the property. We called the police as we drove away. Since then the woman offered us no compensation as we never stayed there and she spoke to us like we were crazy. Our 3 hours in that annex were the most terrifying of my life and the customer service we received afterwards was atrocious! DO NOT GO HERE!

Very clean and tidy with all the amenities necessary for an comfortable stay for a couple/single. The proprietor, Kay, even provided milk, butter, cereal, bread, jam, marmalade, croissant, which meant we didn't even have to visit the shops on our first evening. All good, great hosts helpful & friendly but not intrusive, The place was big enough for the two of us & kitchen had everything needed. Nice clean modern bathroom & bedroom with TV & enough storage space. Close enough to nice beaches, woods, motorcyce museum & everything we wanted.

Small but comfortable
We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay ar Twistlewood. Although small, it is comfortable for two and has everything you need. It is in a lovely, and incredibly quiet, location with easy access to local amenities and tourist areas.
We very much appreciated the goodies that were provided, including freshly laid duck eggs, home made jams and much more, along with the warm welcome from Kay & Kelvin.
I’m sure we’ll return at some point.

Nice annex for a couple
Me and my partner stayed for 3 nights at Twistlewood. It is a lovely little annex in the middle of the countryside with ponies and other animals around. The property manager Kay came and introduced herself on the first day we were there and then left us to it, though she was readily available if we needed her. Overall it was a really nice weekend and we really enjoyed the annex. I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of going to the New Forest.

Excellent Experience
A really lovely place to stay in the New Forest. Kay's annex had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and we were spoilt with her very generous welcome basket. Peaceful and relaxing. Well located for forest walks and good pubs a short drive away. We even went paddleboarding on Poole Harbour!

The Annexe
Despite the dire weather we had a lovely 4 nights. We had everything we needed, toured all the local towns, loved the animals & the local pubs & had a very relaxing time.

A lovely rural retreat
Twistlewood Annexe was just perfect for the two of us, 5 minutes walk from lovely New Forest woodland. The welcome hamper with home-made jams, fruit, crumpets, bread, butter, milk, eggs, etc. Kay and Kelvin were very friendly and helpful. We shall definitely be going again.
