The cabin was very nice and modern. Well stocked with pots, pans, glasses, mugs, all manner of utensils. Newer appliances. Its these small things that make your stay so much more relaxing. The cabin had a wonderful view and we were able to ice fish and watch our traps from the window when you needed a break from the cold. That was what I wanted from a cabin and this option delivered.

This property was perfect for our needs. Easy to find and very well maintained, it snowed overnight and the driveway was plowed before we even needed to get down it. The house was warm and clean and had everything we needed for a great weekend. The house very easily accommodated 6 men and all all our gear. We all loved the house and will absolutely keep the info for future uses. Also the property owners were very easy to communicate with and made sure our questions were answered fast. Great home in a great location.

Great location! We took the kids skiing at Squaw mtn and ice fishing on Moosehead Lake everything was within 15 minutes! Snowmobile trail right down the road. Home was very clean and well stocked with anything that you would need. Owners are very responsive and stayed in contact to ensure everything was going well!

You can’t beat the location and being right on the lake. It was so pleasant to communicate with the host and the house had everything we needed. Thank you for welcoming us to your beautiful home, we had a wonderful time.

My family had a wonderful, short stay at this Moosehead property. Even with cold, snowy weather outside, we were cozy inside with everything we needed. The kids loved the bunk beds and spiral stairs to lower level. I enjoyed the beautiful view and warm fireplace. Would definitely rent again and i bet it's even more fun in the summer!

Only 2 of us stayed in the house but it would be perfect for families to stay as well. The veiw was gorgeous! We truly loved this place but I do have some mobility challenges that make using the spiral staircase difficult. The only tv is downstairs. I did manage to slowly navigate the stairs but a tv upstairs would have solved the problem. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

We went for our annual fall trip. Have stayed many places around Moosehead. Not as fancy as some but location was amazing. View from living room and master bedroom so close you can see the loons and hear the waves. Well appointed and homey. Some vestiges of the old family camp still present. Nice private cooperative beach area across the way. Very restful and easy location to town. Faces East with nice hilly range beyond.

If you are looking for a comfotabe house with outdoor porches overlooking a wide area of Moosehead Lake where you can see the "Kate" passing on her daily voyages as well as other recreational craft, this place is for you!

Cozy and comfortable home on Moosehead Lake. Cabin has everything you need. Love the wrap around deck. ATV trails were great and nearby. Too cool and rainy to go swimming but had a great time anyway. Hosts Scott and Jana were very responsive and accommodating. We highly recommend this home for your next vacation.

The photographs are accurate to the property. It is a beautiful location with a sunrise waterfront and a rocky shoreline. There is a shared beach for swimming as well. The kitchen is well-equipped for meals. The hosts were quick to respond to questions. I would recommend this location without hesitancy.

We spent Labor Day weekend at Scott's property and it was the perfect end to summer! Seamless check in. We were SO pleased with how clean the house was. Has all necessary kitchen amenities for making meals in. Large dining table for family meals and game nights. The property has stunning views and easy access to Moosehead Lake. Could not ask for a better location!! Two kayaks available to use on site and plenty of life jackets. Quick drive into town yet feels remote and private. Plenty of outdoor seating for the large L shaped deck, fire pit, and dock. We cannot recommend this place enough! Will definitely be returning to this property! Thanks again Scott!

What a wonderful house and amazing location. It was wonderful to take my morning coffee out into the brisk morning air and watch the mist rise From the lake… Kayaking, nearby hiking, great places to gather… Truly wonderful.

We visited Greenville at the end of May. The rental was just right with lots of space and privacy. It was a week of perfect weather. The view from the house was amazing. There was so much to do. We hiked, kayaked, fly fished, relaxed by the outdoor fire, bird watched, and explored downtown. We couldn't do it all. We are planning to return.

This impeccably clean and well-appointed and private camp is in a very desirable location, and has a gorgeous view of Moosehead Lake, especially from the slider in the Main Bedroom. Sunrises and sunsets don’t disappoint! Well-appointed kitchen, two comfortable living areas and L- shaped deck among many other pluses. Great communication with thoughtful host. He even remotely turned up the heat which was so appreciated on our late night arrival in a chilly rainy day! Would not hesitate to book again or recommend!

Our stay was the best. It was very clean and all basics were provided. Contact with Scott was easy and quick. Beautiful surroundings. I would recommend this. We will come again.

This is the second time going to this property and it was just as awesome as the first time! Plenty of room and very cozy, right on the water! We had a lot of fun fishing the lake

The house was very clean and comfortable. Beautiful views of the lake. Easy enough access to the lake from the house in the snow and to access by snowmobile was basically across the street couldn’t be any easier for not being on the property. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Beautiful location, the views were the best we've seen in the 16 years coming to Moosehead area! The house was well stocked, clean, and perfect fit for my family! Close to town, but not intown! Fishing was good all week as well! Thank you for sharing your home!!

Scott was awesome to deal with throughout the whole process and was great to communicate with before, during and after our stay. This was our third time staying here and it never disappoints, we’re hoping to make a yearly tradition for our moosehead getaway in the wintertime

We went against the tide and spent Christmas at Moosehead Lake. Summer destination, sure...But winter is wonderful (for a few days, Then back to Florida!). This house is perfect and the location for peace and amazing views cannot be beat. Everything you need, even a fire, W&D and full kitchen. Drink and eat at Stress free Moose, Play at Big Squaw, explore the parks and forest. Ski, Snowmobile, Ice fish and go back to Stress Free Moose for a night Cap. Consider Winter at Moosehead! Cheers!

The cabin on Moosehead Lake was just as shown online. The views from the rooms and the deck were incredible. We all loved sitting out there and relaxing. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and the dining room table was gorgeous. The beds were comfortable and it was great to have 2 bathrooms for the 4 of us. The location was central for a moose safari, hiking at Mt. Kineo, a boat ride on the Katahdin , and restaurants in Greenville. We definitely recommend this lovely home.

The property was exactly what we were looking for. It’s lakefront with a dock, mooring and a boat ramp across the street with a beautiful beach. The home is very nice, clean and comfortable. Everything worked and the cabinets contained everything one could possibly need.

We had a wonderful time and the location was beautiful and peaceful. The location is very private and the surrounding area is quiet which allows you to fully enjoy the view and sounds of nature. The dock is sturdy and we enjoyed putting our chairs on it to relax. House is well stocked and comfortable and what to expect from a Maine cabin. Only disappointment we had was the listing stated Queen bed and it was not a Queen mattress. It was our 35th Anniversary getaway and we needed to sleep in separate beds after 1st night. Husband has back and neck injuries and the way he sleeps requires a Queen mattress for both of us to be comfortable. I only list this as there may be other people with same issue or I would not have as we fully enjoyed our time and the cabin.

We had the best time together exploring the great north woods and all that Moosehead Lake and Greenville had to offer. We were looking for a chance to unplug and Scott and Jana's home was the perfect home base. There was a bit of a snag at check in but that was quickly fixed. The cabin is pristine with a beautiful lake front location and dock where we spent most nights star gazing after roasting s'mores on the fire. We were able to kayak, go on several hikes, and see some moose! We had a few rainy days but we spent them inside playing games (we brought our own but the cabin was well stocked as well) and exploring the few shops in Greenville. If we had thought ahead we would have rented a boat and spent more time on the water. I would also recommend bringing/ renting kayaks/ paddle boards as they only have 2 adult kayaks with universal life jackets which wasn't enough for the family of 4. We did know this in advance and probably would have rented if we had better weather. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you would need. Comfortable living room set, beautiful custom dining room table. I have to say the beds are firm! Scott was incredibly nice and easy to get in touch with. All in all- a 5 star trip!! This was our first time in Moosehead and we are already looking forward to next year. Thank you Scott!

We had such an amazingly wonderful stay and kept pinching ourselves over the incredible view!! Our last morning there, we went down to have our coffee on the dock at 6:00 a.m, sat down, looked left and there were FIVE LOONS clustered together swimming our way and passed 10 feet from the dock! The house and grounds were fantastic, and the covered wrap around porch was key, especially during a summer evening thunderstorm with a beautiful lightening show over the lake and mountains. And of course the stars at night were endless when viewed from the dock. We saw three shooting stars within a half hour! Everything was perfect and we hope to return next summer! The house was very large and comfortable. The owner was friendly and very responsive to our questions. The combination of beach area and dock to jump from was a hit with the kids. We would highly recommend this rental.

Great stay

5 adult fishermen were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Scott contacted us to let us know we could check in early if needed, he was very friendly and helpful. I loved the gas stove with griddle in the middle.
