Cozy Carriage House on Lake Ossipee. Private beach with boat docks
C'est de loin l'un des secrets les mieux gardés du lac Ossipee. Bienvenue dans cette charmante maison de transport confortable située sur les rives du lac Ossipee dans une communauté très privée. Il y a 16 autres chalets convertis sur cette propriété qui était un camp Girl Scout !! La maison de transport est nouvellement mis à jour avec tous les nouveaux appareils de cuisine, de nouveaux tapis et des planchers en bois et des meubles. Profitez d'une propriété très privée côté lac avec 20 pieds de plage privée et une sérénité pure avec une vue sur les belles montagnes blanches. La maison individuelle unique est accessible par un escalier. La maison de transport a 2 chambres à coucher et 1 salle de bain avec une cuisine ouverte espace de vie, laveuse sécheuse, câble, wifi et télévision à écran plat pour les jours pluvieux. The Cozy Carriage House on Lake Ossipee is a great house in the lovely neighborhood of Weetamoe Shores. It has been nicely restored and upgraded with a beautiful Non-slip vinyl Deck. It has a cozy upstairs with 2 bedrooms, large living room and full sized kitchen, which is very good for this community of small houses. There is an expansive playroom downstairs that you can walk out from. We had a great week of fresh air, lake fun, and listening to the loons at sunset and sunrise. Very happy all around.

We loved our few days at the carriage house! Communicating with the owner was super-easy, and she made us feel very welcome. Our weekend there was cool and rainy, but we still had a great time. The property was beautiful -- we loved the cozy living room upstairs and the foosball table downstairs. We were also very happy to find a well-stocked kitchen. We'd love to come back in the summer to get the full lake experience!

This is our second time staying here and we love it! Perfect amount of space for our family of 4. We love that it’s walking distance right over to the lake. The property manager is very nice and if there’s ever an issue she responds right away.

My family and I just returned home from a week at the Cozy Carriage House and I can't say enough good things about it!
From promptly answering questions before we even booked our trip, to helping us with little things during our visit, to thanking us for our stay, Leigh was the perfect host! The constant communication was incredibly appreciated!
Upon arrival we found the Carriage House to be very clean and extremely organized. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to cook for a family of four, including a griddle (which was great because I packed ours and the plug was damaged during our travel)!
We were all so excited about the new deck that has been added to the home. In addition to my morning coffees and a book on the deck, we also enjoyed most meals outside and many family games overlooking the lake.
Ossipee Lake is our favorite summer vacation spot and the private beach included with this property is absolutely perfect to enjoy it from. The soft sand was great for the kids to play in and we loved bringing Leigh's kayaks and canoe out onto the water. One of our favorite things to do was to make s'mores on the beach in the evenings. Leigh provides wood for the fires as well as a wagon to transport it. Very much appreciated!
When we weren't outside on the deck or on the lake, we were spending time in the finished downstairs area of the Carriage House. There's a beautiful lake view from downstairs and it was a great area for family movie nights!

Our stay was everything we wanted and more! Clean, well stocked, and always got back to you if you had a question! We had a great boat dock and they supplied a wagon to get our bags and cooler to boat! They just put on a beautiful double decker deck on the side of the carriage house! Love it and hopefully we get back again! Plus they finished the whole bottom into one large game/tv room!

We had another great stay at this property. Leigh is very accommodating and responsive throughout the stay. We loved the addition of the deck this year. It’s great having your own space on the beach and the community is very peaceful. We look forward to visiting again in the future!

We enjoyed our weekend stay in this wonderful lake-view home. The house is well-equipped and comfortable. Communication was excellent and very prompt. We enjoyed using the kayaks and sitting by the lake and fire pit in the evenings.! Great place to relax and enjoy a memorable lake-side vacation.

We had a wonderful stay. House is located in a small, private community that has everything you need. Private beach with water toys (provided by host) and reservable dock space. House is well maintained and has everything you need. Supermarket and restaurants are close by. Leigh is a great host, was very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend and and wouldnt hesitate to rent again!

This was a last minute find for Labor Day weekend and we absolutely loved it! The location, beach, and ability to dock our boat was perfect. Our girls (3 & 1) had a blast playing on the beach and running back and forth from the house. It was perfect size for us 4. Curious if the owners will furnish the downstairs more so we can hang out down there more. We've already booked another stay!

The property was perfect, short walk to the lake and very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. If we return to Ossipee for a week, we would likely rent here again. The only knocks were the bathroom door made the small bathroom feel even smaller, I’m average sized and had trouble getting in and out as it opened in, and the oven made the whole room hot. Probably not normally a problem, but it was hot our week.

Great stay, beautiful lake
My family of three (2 adults and a toddler) loved our stay on the lake. It’s a perfect location. Quiet neighborhood and beautiful. The private section of beach was amazing, with plenty of space between houses. We loved the included kayaks for early mornings out in the quiet lake. Leigh has plenty of items Included at the beach like paddleboards, kayaks, life jackets, toys, swim floats, chairs. The fire pit was great at night and Leigh has wood there for you to use and a wagon. The unit was well equipped and clean. There were 2 ac window units and fans for warmer days. Perfect house for a small family. Leigh was a great communicator and we had no issues at all. Look forward to visiting again!

Great Place
This is my 2nd time staying here with my brothers. It is a great spot and great access to our favorite lake. The place was so clean and had all the necessities. I especially loved the addition of the bonus room. A great place to hang for those rainy days. We met and hung out with the neighbor who made us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back.

Cozy Little Place on Ossipee Lake
We wanted a place that had its own private beach, that was close to water but not on the water, as we have a little one that is known to wander around. This place had all of it -plus, it was clean, well maintained, and Leigh, the owner, was super responsive and helpful. We wish the weather was better, but nevertheless, we truly enjoyed our stay.

A little slice of heaven!
We love lake Ossipee and the updates that have been made to this property, particularly, the bonus room downstairs was such a plus. The beach and the views never disappoint either. It was great to have access to canoes and the other amenities offered as well. The property owner was very accessible and attentive too! Thank you for another enjoyable week of serenity!

Gorgeous lake-side stay
What a beautiful location and home! It was perfect for our family during our Fall getaway. We made use of the kayaks and canoe on the lake. We also used the fire pit. We’re we’re close to all the activities we wanted to do, like hiking and visiting art galleries. We felt like we had everything we needed while staying here, and the fridge and kitchen helped us keep our costs down. Given the pandemic, the owners were very conscientious with cleaning, and with their bring-your-own linens policy, we felt very safe. We would definitely stay here again.

Great weekend
Cute place! Great for a long weekend away. The beach area for the carriage house was bigger than I thought it was going to be and was a great setup with the fireplace and plenty of firewood. The owner was very prompt in her response, would definitely recommend!

Week Away.
The location was excellent and people very friendly. It was very close to the water and the beach excellent but the house was not described accurately. There were two bedrooms but you have to walk through one to get to the second. This worked out fine for us as we had two young grandchildren but not if there were two couples. The bathroom was extremely small. This was not 'exceptional' as described online.

Graduation fun
We had the best time at your place! Perfect sleeping arrangements for our group and lots of space for everyone. Of course we stayed during a heat wave and the place was a little hot one night but nothing too unbearable. My teenage daughter, her two friends and myself loved how close it was to the lake and activities in North Conway. We visited Lower Falls, Nirth Conway shopping, Diana’s Bath and tubed the Saco. The perfect ending to each busy day was floating in your fabulous floats. Thanks for sharing your place with us.

Cozy Carriage House
This apartment is centrally located for all New Hampshire activities. It’s in a quiet lake front neighborhood and is very clean. The kitchen is adequately stocked and the apartment size gas stove is fantastic for any cooking you want to do. The beds were comfortable enough and there was enough room for 2 adults and 3 children. The only downside was the extremely small bathroom. It did have a full size shower/tub but yet it was still tight. It is located 5 min away from a shopping plaza with a supermarket and I think a liquor store. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Perfect Retreat!
I stand by my review from our stay last August - this property is amazing! A perfect retreat from the busy day to day. Nestled in a private association on the shores of Ossipee Lake, it's peaceful and relaxing. The lake is pristine and you have access to kayaks/canoe. It's just a quick walk (basically thru someone's yard) from the carriage house. This is our second year staying here with our toddler son. Plenty of room for the three of us with full kitchen, living and dining areas and 2 bedrooms. We all love it here and would recommend to anyone, from couples to folks with small kiddos.
The Hannaford is 10 minutes away (and a tiny local grocer literally a half mile walk away) and you're a short drive to area attractions. There are a couple local restaurants (we really like Hobbs Tavern just up the road) and nearby Conway has lots more. We did a couple day trips and spent a few just playing on the beach. So nice to wake up, have breakfast, go play in the sand/take a canoe ride, then head back for a toddler nap, before heading back outside. Couldn't be easier or more convenient!
For the price, space and beach access, this place can't be beat.
In addition to all of that, the owner has always been super gracious, communicative and helpful.

Relaxing quality family time
We loved the location. The carriage house was the perfect amount of space for us. We grilled dinner and had all the tools we needed for successful meals. We swam, kayaked, canoed, and enjoyed the water to the fullest. As described in the listing its a short walk to an from the beach. Our fires at night were such a treat. We will stay at leigh’s again!

Adorable covered carriage house!
We really enjoyed our stay in this adorable carriage house. The private beach and use of kyacks were perfect for our daughter. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need and the house was clean and had great charm.

Superbe Lake!
Very nice small cottage just a few hundred yards from the Lake. The owner respond quickly to questions. We will definitively return to this location. Ideal for a couple or a small family. Full kitchen with everything you need plus, a propane BBQ outside. The kids really enjoyed the kayaks and the beach!!! The Lake is cristal clear and we also enjoyed swimming...

Great location and wonderful community
We were in town for a wedding and were two couples and our 1-year-old. The owner was helpful and communicative. The private beach was fabulous, and many canoe rides were had. Neighbors were super helpful and gracious. Overall we were very happy with the place and it was perfect for a getaway with friends and family. The only hiccups inside were the carpenter ants and what appeared to be a sedate breed of black wasp. Normally this kind of thing is par for the course for us (it is summer bug season, after all!), but it was more of an issue with a 1-year-old roaming around. We were grateful for the opportunity to stay in this lovely place.

Wonderful place to stay
We had a great time. This place was neat and clean and the owner answered all my questions. Enjoyed the proximity of our favorite lake, Ossipee, at a reasonable price. My brothers, daughter and myself got to enjoy the lake together with the kayaks and canoe. We will definitely be back.

Charming, Beautiful, Peaceful
We had a wonderful stay this August - perfect family vacation retreat! The cottage was immaculate and a quick walk across the lawn to the lake (just enough of a walk to dust the sand from your feet!). It's a private community so everyone is quiet and respectful and it's not "touristy" at all. The owner was super responsive and friendly. We traveled with our 1 year old son and it worked out great. We spent our days easily bouncing from the back and forth from the beach to the cottage for food/naps. Easy enough drive to local attractions (though with a little one, we preferred to enjoy the gorgeous lake most days). Local grocery / restaurant about .5 mile away for convenience, and the larger Hannaford maybe a 20 minute drive, if you are looking to stock up and cook your own meals. For golfers, there's a golf course practically right behind the property. Would absolutely stay here again; in fact, already thinking about next summer!

Perfect cottage in a beautiful setting
We loved our short get away in the White Mountains. The carriage house has everything you need and is in a fabulous location. We loved it's close proximity to the lake, the mountain views and the large grassy areas. The lakeside fire pit and 2 kayaks were a highlight. The owner was very responsive and available. Nice location close to lake
We enjoyed our stay here. The unit is just a short walk to the lake. We used the grill one night which was fun. Wish there had been a little more info ahead of our arrival or in the unit about grocery stores (one very close by) as well as some suggested things to do or see.
