Martha's Vineyard Cozy Getaway Near Picturesque Philbin Beach
Cette location est une maison de 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain complètes avec une terrasse pour profiter de l'air frais de l'île. L'espace de vie est au dernier étage avec un sous-sol de sortie. La chambre principale est spacieuse et comprend un lit queen size et une salle de bain privée pleine grandeur. Les deux autres chambres comprennent des lits doubles. Si vous avez plus de 6 personnes, le canapé confortable s'ouvre sur un lit queen-size pour accueillir deux personnes supplémentaires. Serviettes, plage et bain, et draps sont disponibles. Nous avons quelques planches de boogie et une glacière sur roues si vous voulez aller à la plage pour la journée. Il y a aussi quatre chaises de plage disponibles si vous voulez les emmener à la plage de Philbin, qui est à 3 km, Moshup Beach ou Lobsterville Beach. Si vous n'avez pas de voiture, pas de soucis, prenez simplement un bus à la fin de Moshup Trail et descendez à l'autre extrémité de Moshup Trail par le phare et vous pouvez marcher jusqu'à Philbin Beach (0,8 miles) ou simplement aller à Moshup Beach . Vous pouvez également prendre un bus pour Oak Bluffs ou Menemsha, où il y a aussi des plages à choisir. Située à Aquinnah, cette location vous permettra de retrouver la tranquillité d'esprit et la tranquillité jour et nuit. Pendant votre séjour, vous voudrez peut-être visiter le Gay Head Light House et faire une visite ou prendre un déjeuner et acheter un souvenir sur les falaises. N'oubliez pas de visiter également le Centre culturel Aquinnah. Assurez-vous également de prendre un coucher de soleil sur l'une des plages environnantes. Cela crée de superbes opportunités de photo. It was a perfect secluded getaway with access to a gorgeous beach. The house was clean and stocked with all the necessary items needed for our long weekend stay. The owners were prompt to reply to any questions our group Had. Look forward to future stays.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Silva property. It was the perfect R&R we all needed. The backyard is private yet close to the beach, lighthouse, and fun things to do in chilmark. It was also perfect for our black lab who enjoyed playing fetch on the lawn and relaxing by the hammock. We can’t wait to come back next summer!

We’ve been coming every summer to stay on the vineyard for years, and this was our fav rental. Plenty of space for the family, clean, had everything we needed. The yard was soo peaceful and beautifully manicured, and the little pond in the yard was fun to check out some frogs, turtles, & dragonflies. I would definitely recommend!

My family just returned from a fabulous trip to Aquinnah for the 4th of the July and this property was absolutely fantastic! We quickly fell in love with the home and property as soon as we got there. Honestly, the pictures of the listing did not do it justice. The rooms are much bigger than they look in the pictures. Also, each room has very large closets which made it easy to store our luggage. The house was extremely clean and they had lots of supplies too. We thoroughly enjoyed spending our nights by the fire pit or out on the covered porch. The kids had a blast looking for frogs in the pond or running around the secluded yard. The property really is a perfect little oasis for families with young kids.
We like staying on this side of the island so we can quickly get to Menemsha for sunsets even though we spend most of our days out on Chappy. We had never actually stayed in Aquinnah before and I have to say it is my new favorite. Doing the drive every day back and forth to the house was just so beautiful!
On top of how fabulous the house was, the owners were really amazing too. They were very responsive and extremely helpful to answer any of my questions and even allowed us an early check in the day we arrived. We appreciate them opening their home to us and we can’t wait to come back another time.
Just be careful of the ticks in the yard and make sure to check yourself for them daily. Pretty much all of us had them several times. Some were as tiny as a freckle.

Great amenities like the fire pit and outdoor shower. Very comfortable inside space and all the kitchen we needed for a few home cooked meals.
The Silva’s were excellent and responsive hosts. I’d give it more than 5 stars if able!

This house was a great place for my cousin and myself to stay while connecting with on-Island family over Christmas. I brought my dog, and she loved playing in the yard. A second story deck was the perfect place for morning coffee. We had a little trouble figuring out how to work the password for the Amazon Firestick, but other than that - excellent.

Gorgeous perfect house, huge garden, large kitchen with great stove and fridge, open plan with sitting area, excellent design, 3 double bedrooms, quiet rural location near Wampanoag land. No connection for T mobile, which was a problem for us, but internet connection was good. Worth stocking up with food and drink at a large supermarket when you arrive, as it is a long drive to the shops, unless you go to Grey Barn, where the much coveted raw (unpasteurised) milk and popular pastries sell out fast. Other local stores are a little expensive, though Alleys is worth a visit.

We had an amazing time in Aquinnah! House was clean, very comfortable, and well equipped. We grilled, had bonfires, star gazed, and went to glorious Philbin beach. Lots of wildlife and away from the hustle/traffic of towns. We have stayed several places on the island and this is my favorite. Owners were very prompt when we had a few minor questions. Our dog was also happy.

We enjoyed all that the area had to offer. The house is set in a lovely wooded area with a pond. We really enjoyed being outside and visiting the nearby beaches and hiking trails. We also enjoyed having coffee on the deck and observing the various wildlife. Would highly recommend this property if you enjoy outdoor adventures.

My husband, myself, and our dog Gus really enjoyed our stay. The house and property was a quiet little oasis. The location was perfect for a relaxing vacation. We loved playing fetch in the yard with Gus, bike rides to the beach down the road, and relaxing at lobsterville beach. Kelly was quick to respond to all our needs and she even let us check in early. We cannot wait to come back!

This house is situated on a lovely piece of land surrounded by meadow and woodland. The beach is a short jog away. the accommodations included a lovely back porch with a view of the sunset through the trees.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is just so comfortable and the pictures truly do not do it justice. Our dog was in heaven exploring the large yard. This was such a perfect alternative to the busier sections of the island. Everything you could need was provided in the house and it was spotlessly clean. Perfect House in Aquinnah!
The Silva's property was perfect:) The house looks better in person and more spacious than the pictures can show. Unlike most rentals that only provide the basics, the Silva is a home away from home with all the amenities. There outside grounds are amazing with plenty of parking and space to have a bbq or family fun. The rooms were a good size and I loved the open concept of the kitchen/living area. The bonus is the large porch to relax on and basement nook was great for teenagers or additional guests. Kelly was very responsive and a pleasure to communicate with. I would love to go back again and again!

Very Nice Stay
My wife and I stayed at this property for a few days while visiting friends on the Island. It worked out well, as the house is very comfortable, with a good kitchen, and a lovely view of a small pond. No issues at all made for a lovely stay.

Beautiful and clean
We had a great experience with this property and the owners. We didn’t get to spend a lot of time at the property as we were on the island for a wedding but it was super clean and well stocked. The owners were beyond accommodating and had great communication. Can’t recommend it enough!

Well-stocked house, nice yard and great location
Couldn't ask for better communication than we had with this owner. And they have everything you need in the kitchen, plus a great grill and big picnic table in the yard, and beach chairs, sand toys and boogie boards in the basement. We LOVED the beaches at the West end of the island where this house is located. They're only accessible by resident permit and parking permit. But the owner gave us their permits. That covered us except for parking for one beach (Philbin). The bad news on that is the town requires you to pay $50 for parking for that one beach. But the good news is it's valid for the length of your stay.
Unfortunately, all the sit-down restaurants on the West end seem to have closed right on Labor Day, which is when we arrived. But there were still a few good take-out places open nearby. Plus there are plenty of good restaurants 30-40 min. away in the towns of Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven, and Edgartown.
Bottom line -- we plan to stay here again.

The perfect getaway!
The home and property were great for our family and friends. Time spent at the Silva’s home was perfect for reuniting with my college roommate and his family. The kids had space to ride their bikes around the property, we caught up on a ton of memories around the fire pit. The outdoor shower was great for keeping the sand out of the house. We had an amazing time in Aquinnah; we loved the quick and combiner access to the local beaches, cliffs, and the Chilmark General Store, which has great food. The Silva’s were super accommodating and responsive throughout the entire process. We look forward to returning.

Excellent!
I've been coming to Aquinnah for 45 years... My grandparents lived on Moshup's trail since 1971. The Silvas property is welcoming and I hope to stay there again... it was perfect for my family of 5 and allowing our dog to come along really made the whole experience complete. Thank you!
