It is 1.8 km from the Alt Stadt. They do have dinner and a breakfast available. The smoking area, out front, with chairs was a welcome place.

The location is good. And the rooms were ok.

It had no WiFi. In spite of emailing and personally requesting at the reception, there was no response. Three days without WiFi is not something we came prepared for and should have been informed to us earlier so that we booked elsewhere.

Lady at the reception (tattoes + lower lip piercing) was unpolite. The wifi did not work property at the room and I could not work nor check my email...

hotel is ok. staff ok. location good for cyclist going along the elbe. view of castle from the room in the background (although supermarket and car park in the foreground). draught beer was excellent

hotel had a very old fashioned feel about it. long bureaucratic check in. long waits for elevator. bathroom in room was tiny. no fridge or tea or coffee making facilities. (3 stars?). no airconditioning. loud fire doors in the corridor. german breakfast - bread rolls were horrible. the same rolls you bake at home in the oven. the basis for a good german breakfast are the rolls. shame as the rest of the breakfast was ok. evening meal - the food was like in a canteen not a in restaurant. tasted ok but things like overcooked or tinned veg reminded me of school dinners. they served up the worst tasting soup i‘ve ever had. leftover tinned peas with coconut. 🤮 the outside terrace was in the middle of a car park with cheap plastic furniture. the location - it was a good 30 minute to the town centre. in summary it was ok for the price but i would definitely stay somewhere else next time.

Rooms were okayish, cleaniness, staff on reception etc. Rooms and furniture are ok as well - in overall in this hotel nothing stands off, exactly what you would expect for that amount of money

Hotel's location is the only weak side - it takes just too long to go to the city - better take bus, bike hire or go by car

Great breakfast, great staff, reasonable location. They have a bike room, so it is possible to use this hotel when doing the Elbe bike tour.

We would appreciate a small fridge in the room.

Lovely place! Amazing view to the castle as we were at the last floor of the hotel. Staff was very helpful, letting us borrow an USB Charger for the duration of the trip. Room was large enough and cozy, bed comfortable and bathroom clean and warm. Incredible breakfast! Big variety of food and everything was delicious! Parking available just in front of the hotel.

Initially the room was not as warm as we'd wished it would be. Elevator appears to be too slow at peak times, for example in the morning when all people are using it and going down to the lobby to check-out.
