ABSOLUTE BEACHFRONT - Smooth Sailing Yorke Peninsula
Nous offrons une belle maison de vacances en bord de mer où vous pourrez vous asseoir et profiter de la vue magnifique sur la baie de Coobowie aux lumières d'Edithburgh et du parc éolien. Il n'y a pas de route entre vous et la plage, descendez juste de la véranda avant à la pelouse menant au sable. Dormir offre 3 chambres (1 lit queen, 1 lit queen, 2 ensembles de lits superposés), décorées avec goût et comprend des éléments modernes et de qualité. Le salon et le lit 1 et le lit 2 ont tous des portes coulissantes pleine largeur sur le pont avant avec vue sur l'eau. Allongez-vous dans votre lit et prenez cette première tasse de thé en regardant la vue sur l'océan et le temps de la journée. Pelouses en herbe à l'avant pour les enfants à jouer.
La maison est livrée avec une toute nouvelle cuisine entièrement équipée avec lave-vaisselle avec une vaisselle de qualité et une machine à café Nespresso. La salle de repos a un téléviseur plasma de 50 "avec lecteur PS3, un système audio et une station d'accueil pour iPhone, (prise 30 broches) et un climatiseur à cycle inversé. Les ventilateurs de plafond, les couvertures électriques ajoutent au confort.
Des couettes et des oreillers de qualité sont fournis tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour apporter vos propres draps, taies d'oreiller, serviettes, tapis de bain et torchons.
La cour arrière est entièrement clôturée, ce qui la rend sécuritaire pour les petits enfants et les animaux domestiques sont les bienvenus (par approbation).
Il y a un grand parking pour voitures, bateaux et remorques.
Nous fournissons un évier / zone de nettoyage du poisson (il y a beaucoup de poissons à attraper dans ces eaux et à proximité).
Il y a un barbecue à gaz et un cadre extérieur.

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay, it was so quiet and peaceful.
The house has all you need. Plenty of crockery, glasses and cooking utensils. The view from inside takes advantage of the wonderful vista and has a lovely comfortable feel. We were lucky to have beautiful winter weather and enjoyed sitting in the sun out the back next to the chimenea and also view side out front on the verandah. The bird life is fantastic if you like to sit back and watch them go about their business.
We also spent time walking on the beach and along the coastline walking trails. A visit to the local Coobowie Hotel for lunch was also enjoyable.
We'll definitely be back.

The description of this property being 'absolute beachfront' wasn't wrong. You step out of the front sliding door, walk through an easy path and you are on the beach. The views were beautiful! Well stocked kitchen with everything you need for your stay. Heater in the lounge room worked effectively, which was good because it was very cold. The tv was massive, and it was great that the dvd player played with no problems.
We weren't really impressed that there was absolutely no privacy in the main living area due to no curtains or blinds. Having no curtains on the main window facing the beach, which is quite a public area, was a problem at night, as anyone could see in. I messaged the owner who replied saying the curtains were being made, but that didn't help us for our stay. Also, the skirting boards next to the dining table were hanging off when we got there. The ensuite next to the main bedroom is under construction, and will be nice when finished. We decided to sleep in the second bedroom as it was warmer and the mattress was more comfortable. I understand it's the country, but the shower pressure wasn't great, and adjusting the shower temperature was quite temperamental. The big dog next door barked a lot, which didn't really matter to us, but may frustrate some.
Overall, the peace and quiet was lovely, the views sublime, and we were lucky with not having any rain. Although not perfect, the property was quite comfortable. The owner was attentive and helpful.

We recently stayed at this property , and it was an absolutely delightful experience for our family. The home itself is wonderful, providing a perfect blend of comfort and style. The highlight for us was the amazing outdoor sitting area, which offered stunning waterfront views. It quickly became our favorite spot to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings.
The location is incredibly convenient, with short drives to all the essential shops and a variety of local attractions. Whether we were heading out for groceries or exploring the nearby sites, everything was easily accessible.
The homeowners were also fantastic, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They were friendly, responsive, and made us feel truly welcome.
Overall, this holiday house in Coowobie is a gem, and we highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing getaway.

Comfortable clean welcoming home with easy parking right on the beach with bedrooms and lounge areas overlooking the sea across the Bay to Edithburgh with unobscured views of wind turbines. Great for walks on the beach with Pelicans, Swans, and other bird life there daily.
Just a short drive to the historic township of Edithburgh where all needed facilities are present.
Guy and Julie are great hosts, available and easy to contact. The new 75-inch Samsung TV and ensuite bathroom to bedroom 1 which are in the process of being added will be excellent additions to the home.

Nice location and great place to stay. It has all the facilities we needed. We enjoyed the view and having breakfast overlooking the gulf.
It is also so great base to explore the Yorke Peninsula.
The host is friendly and attentive to detail.

Smooth Sailing at Coobowie is a lovely 3 bedroom, beach front house which was clean and comfortable and well maintained.
There was plenty of space for 6 adults and the house is also dog friendly, with a secure back yard.
Its a very short walk down a well worn path to the beach and short walk to the pub where you can get a decent meal. There is also a general store in the town who have a large variety of takeaway food.
Overall we were very impressed with the accommodation and found the owners very helpful. Coobowie itself has limited facilities however, it's a 5 minute drive to the next town which has an IGA, cafe, tackle shop and an interesting museum.

What a little gem of a cottage/ house!
Soon to be even better with an ensuite glamour boost.
We stayed 4 nights. Be prepared for a brisk sea breeze, (there is a reason you can see a wind farm across the bay), but the front verandah is reasonably protected as is the enclosed back yard.
Lots of local eating options, walks, beaches, you can't go wrong.
Pets were negotiated and our cats had some walks on leads out the front, lots of fun. They also loved staring at the ocean/birds as the view is really great.
We hope to return.

I have stayed here many times over the years and will continue to keep coming back! The hosts are fabulous communicators, and have set up the house very well. Safe parking, a secure yard for the little doggo’s. Nice kitchen with dishwasher, laundry facilities, comfy beds and a spectacular view from bedrooms, even providing you with a sink for cleaning fish if you’re lucky enough to catch one! Smooth Sailing is a lovely house set on the beach at Coobowie. A perfect spot for an early morning walk followed by breakfast on the verandah. The rooms were all spacious and comfortable and the area is quite peaceful. A great place to unwind and relax for a few days.

Beautifully appointed house. Easy parking for cars and boats. Great views from inside the house and fabulous views out on the deck. If we weren’t out fishing or walking we spent 90 percent of our time on the front deck. We had all our meals on this lovely deck. There is also a lovely entertaing area at the rear with a gorgeous garden. Caught heaps of huge gar and Georgie boys. Thanks for great stay.

A really relaxing place to take the family and pooch! We loved the cleanliness of the property, and it had adequate space and everything we needed for a family of 5 including teenagers. Views were amazing and we loved the lawn out the front. Would definitely recommend this property, if you're looking for a peaceful getaway.

We loved staying here. Such a comfortable home with a wonderful view, lots of birds and a very quiet area. We spent a huge amount of time sitting on the deck, relaxing and eating oysters from Stansbury.

I loved the view of the garden, natural foreshore and the sea. Lots of lovely little birds on front lawn first thing in the morning. Secluded back garden with pretty flower beds.
Our dog loved the beach as did we. Very friendly people on the York Peninsula and no Traffic Jams.

I was very tempted to give a bad rating for this property, just so we could have it all to ourselves!!
My wife and I were seeking a very quiet winter getaway, and we discovered a slice of heaven with this property...
The location is magnificent, and due to visiting off-peak in winter (July), we found we had the entire beach to ourselves.
The location of the house is a short walk across the lawn and down a small path and you're right on the beach - which is perfect for walking and beach-combing.
We took our own portable modem which allowed us to obtain internet access - which we hardly used...
Our days were filled with beach walks and just sitting with a coffee and reading or watching the abundant bird-life in the low scrub; we even saw a large hawk / small eagle searching for prey!
The house has many modern conveniences, however the local pub does take-away - we can highly recommend the CallaCoobowie (calamari schnitzel with prawn & garlic sauce), and we also purchased fish & chips from the Coobowie Store to help spread the love around the town :)
Other local towns are only a short drive away, and for the collectors, Spog's Shed in Mintabie is worth checking out for an afternoon drive - be prepared for a chat.
Overall, we can't rate this place highly enough and it will hopefully become our 'go-to' winter getaway from Adelaide. Many thanks to the owners who presented an excellent property and were great with communication - sentational :)

We had a relaxing and comfortable 4 night family holiday with our kids and furbaby.
The gardens are beautifully landscaped and the house was warm and cosy for our winter stay.
We brought our own fitted bed sheets, pillow cases, towels, tea towels and bathroom mat as per instructions. The pillows were a little too soft for us and we thought that it would have been better to have some more supplies to compliment our 4 night stay with a family of 4. We had 2 dish tablets, 2 sml bin liners and 1 & 1/4 rolls of toilet paper. Overall we would recommend to family and friends and would most definitely return again.
