The room was good, the hotel is in a good location.

The professionalism of staff was lacking. Firstly, when we arrived at the hotel, the hotel lost our booking. They blamed booking.com however i have never had an issue with booking.com, this was just poor from the hotel. They were meant to charge my card before I arrived as it said on the booking, yet they didnt. You cant pay by card at the hotel either, only cash. Secondly, they quoted me a price of over 9,000 Dinar more than it said on booking.com (about €60). They again blamed booking.com for offering a different price, yet this is the hotels fault again. I argued that I would be paying the price that I agreed on booking.com. The receptionist wasnt going along with it so I asked to speak to the Manager who finally agreed to the booking.com price. Thirdly, they were very stingy at providing toilet roll. They said each room only got 1 roll each, but they gave us two extra when requested. My friend was experiencing some mild food poisoning so when we requested more they said no. In my view a hotel should provide basics like toilet roll when requested. The wifi is also terrible. Some days we couldn’t get any connection at all, and the days we did get the connection, it was extremely slow. The free breakfast is also terrible. The pastries were all hard as a rock.

The hotel is conveniently located on the hillside above the Marche Central and Agha Station. There are straight-forward stairs going directly up to it from the Agha. While Rue Telemly is fairly busy, rooms are quite sound proof. Staff are kind and helpful. Breakfast is good, with quite a lot of choice in terms of desserts. Rooms are well-appointed and clean. Some are a bit small and have windows opening to a narrow back stairway with indirect sunlight (we did not mind it).

Very helpfull stuff, great breakfast, nice view from our hotel room on the 3rd floor as we had a view on the sea side. The location is quite good as well, even though you need to "climb up" a bit when walking from the center. A small grocery store and a pharmacy is just few meters away from the hotel.

Internet was sometimes a bit slow, but still relatively fine.

Very helpful front desk staff.

Pillows were thicker than we cared for.
