Disponible à la location toute l'année, le Golden Cottage est un cottage de vacances détaché de trois étages impeccablement présenté, parfaitement situé dans un emplacement central mais paisible du centre-ville de Sidmouth, dans le Devon. En moins de deux minutes, vous pouvez marcher de votre porte d'entrée à la plage et à tous les magasins, cafés et restaurants de cette belle ville balnéaire. Golden Cottage est la maison de vacances idéale à Sidmouth!
Golden Cottage peut accueillir cinq personnes dans trois chambres et tous les draps et serviettes sont inclus dans les frais de location. Il y a un parking gratuit pour une voiture dans l'allée privée du chalet et une connexion Wi-Fi est également disponible.
La propriété offre une cuisine moderne et spacieuse avec un espace salle à manger pouvant accueillir jusqu'à six personnes. Le chalet a été récemment redécoré et nous recevons souvent des commentaires sur le haut niveau de l'ameublement, y compris la qualité et le confort de nos matelas en mousse à mémoire de forme - vous serez assuré d'une bonne nuit de sommeil!

A really lovely property in a fantastic location - perfect for exploring Sidmouth and the local area. Despite some terrible weather, we enjoyed getting to know the town and being so central meant that we didn't need to use the car - a real bonus! Clean, comfortable and well-equipped - thanks Lizzy and Alex for a great stay!

The house has all you need for a stay at the beach. The kitchen is well equipped so you can cook if you don't want to eat out. The beach nick nacks and pictures are a lovely touch. The instructions given, including advice to reverse into the parking space, were spot on. Everything you need is within walking distance including the beach front, the byes footpath, the town centre and a lovely pub. Even better for us it was just around the corner from Evangel Church that we always worship at when in Sidmouth. I will be booking to stay here again when we next visit Sidmouth.

Golden Cottage is in an ideal location for a visit to Sidmouth and the surrounding area.
The cottage is beautifully presented and exceptionally clean.
The owners are easy to contact and access to the property was very straight forward. The note from the owner and some basic supplies were much appreciated after our long journey.
We are looking forward to returning very soon.

Everything you need in a great location with tasteful decoration throughout. On-site parking is easy (we have had other rentals in Sidmouth where parking was non-existant or very tricky). Clean and well organised house with all the info you need in a handy folder. No TV channels but there was access to some player services which kept the tired kids happy after long days of walks on the beach. Great location for access to Fun Time at the local swimming pool. A fabulous winter break to see family locally.

Perfect location,lovely cottage very well presented and extremely comfortable.The weather was stormy but we were warm and cosy whatever the weather threw at us.

The cottage was perfectly situated for all local amenities - all within walking distance. The bedrooms worked out perfectly as my daughter had the single room on the second floor next door to my two grandsons and I had the double on the first floor. We were lucky to have good weather. The directions to and access to the cottage were very good.

An excellent location for the shops and only five minutes walk from the sea front.
Great location for all amenities. The cottage is warm and comfortable, but for older people of the group the stairs could be a challenge to the upper floor bedrooms. Bathroom has both a shower and bath, the bath being a pleasant surprise and we also appreciated our welcome gifts of biscuits and apple juice. It has a wonderful fire to keep you nice and toasty should you wish to visit in the winter months. We would definately stay again.

A Week By The Sea
After a dreadful journey, wettest day ever, we arrived at Golden Cottage and our spirits lifted immediately. Easy parking, welcoming accommodation, including chocolate biscuits, and everything in place for a week by the sea. The proximity to the sea, shops and places to eat ensured that we had an enjoyable, restful and stress free week despite the frequent showers.

"Home from home"
Golden Cottage is located in an ideal part of Sidmouth as the sea front, shops, cafes, restaurants and bus terminal are all within a few minutes walking distance. The bus service to towns and villages both east and west along the coastal path is excellent and generally 'on time'. Our favourite area was around the village of Otterton where there are numerous paths and wonderful walks. Staying in Golden Cottage made it a joy to 'come home' after a day of exertions. 'Thanks Lizzie', for letting us stay in your lovely cottage. We may be back one day! Romesa and Jim.

Amazing holiday and perfect accommodations!
Property owner thought of everything! From the convenient washing machine to the warmth of a fire on those rainy nights in Southern England..and a nice “welcome” gift of local cider and cookies! The property was very clean and bright and close to all of the charming shops in the village. Couldn’t have asked for a better holiday!

Beautiful cottage in a perfect location.
There was everything you could wish for. My mum particularly enjoyed soaking up the sun on the kitchen sofa. The location is quiet but within very easy reach of the town. The drive is wide and easy to navigate. Lots to do in the town and surrounding areas. Please book ahead if you want to go out for a meal on a Saturday night (even in April).

Great place to stay
Very clean. Big bathroom, bedrooms were perfect, kitchen diner was lovely to eat in and the lounge was a good size. Perfect location. And a parking spot, which makes a real difference. No negatives whatsoever. The booking was managed very efficiently too.

Well appointed and very comfortable
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Directions were spot on as were all the instructions. Very well equipped and all you need is here - well thought out. The cottage is in an excellent location too.

Atmosphere, Positioning and Kind
Our stay at Golden Cottage began a few hours earlier than expected as we arrived in Sidmouth a couple of hours early. As there was no one leaving the property that day the hosts very kindly allowed us admission.
The house has a peaceful atmosphere and feels welcoming. There’s plenty of room for 5 people, one being a 4 year old and an additional baby (making 6). It’s safe, clean and light.
The Cottage is within walking distance to everything in the town while still being in a quiet street. The park and beach are beautiful and only a two minute walk away.
We will definitely return here.

A delightful Cottage in the Heart of Sidmouth
This cottage was so well equipped, and worked very well for us, which considering we were a family of 3 adults and 2 children was wonderful. The location was perfect, 3 minutes walk to the beach, 2 minutes walk to the town and a delicious bakery just around the corner. It was really well equipped and thoughtfully and comfortably furnished. We are already making plans to return and stay here next year. Thanks Lizzie and Alex Golden Cottage was everything you said it was and better!

Perfect downtown location! Close to many ammentities. Well kept. We had a family of four so there was an extra bed. We enjoyed our holiday very much!
