The Vrbo photos don't do this Villa justice. It is much more than we were expecting. The furnishings are all good quality, it has large glass windows and glorious views into the surroundings. The extensive terraced garden. The large, deep pool was a hit with all the family ( found ourselves hanging on the edge taking in the vista numerous times) That view from the terrace! Wow. The Villa has 3 bathrooms, 2 with showers and 1 with spa bath. The location is very quiet, however a nice stoney beach with bar, is 5 mins walk, a couple of small supermarkets, post office and 3 restaurants however 1 of which was struggling to staff so therefore was closed. We hired a car to see the area and beyond. Kotor was always busy and we found dificult to park. However always nice to get back to the villa terrace and take in those views across the bay with mountain backdrop. Lillian was very helpful, the Villa clean and spotless. Only small negatives are the numerous steps up to the villa and those feisty criters, do go armed with mosquito repellant in the summer months. Not enough to put us off, we would recommend any one, what a find on Vrbo

Fabulous location fabulous accommodation

We enjoyed our stay at Bay ViewVilla which is well-equipped and extremely clean. There is also a lovely (but deep) pool. Also, it is just a short walk to local amenities - shop, several restaurants and a beach. We do think it should be made clearer that there is only one shower and that the showers mentioned in the two bathrooms are only hand-held. This meant that the four adults in our party only used the downstairs shower.

Bayview Villa was highly recommended to us by a friend and it lived up to expectations on every level. In a quiet, but picturesque location, very well appointed with all the basics provided for including a welcome pack. Close to the many fantastic towns and sites to visit - Kotor, Budva, Parest, etc. Having a car is probably essential and the villa comes with secure parking. Great rooms (bedrooms with AC), spacious kitchen and living areas and a stunning garden with several seating areas, BBQ area and fabulous pool. Local amenities included a small store for provisions and several restaurants including one of the best you'll find anywhere (Catovica Mlini). These and a lakeside beach only a short walk away. The owner was always helpful and Lillian and her team locally were always on hand helping with any queries. The whole family loved Montenegro and the villa and we couldn't recommend it highly enough.

We went in late July 2019 - two young families. The location is perfect, very easy to get to coming from Croatia. The house is nestled on the side of a valley a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, where there are two unpretentious beach bars. On the way to the beach is the excellent restaurant, Ćatovića Mlini - not to be missed. From the private secure parking (we squeezed in two compact rental cars), the house is in an elevated position up a number of steps through beautiful, extensive mature gardens. These really are very impressive and add to the beautiful atmosphere. The steps were absolutely no problem for us and the kids. The beautiful private pool and BBQ area is halfway up the steps to the house. We spent hours around the pool, which is deep (adults but not kids can stand in the shallow end), but this was actually good for our young son who finally learned to love his armbands! The house itself is well equipped and spacious, with AC in the bedrooms and a wonderful view across the bay from the terrace. We will long remember the way the light from the opposite town bleeds across the surface of the bay at night. We didn’t get out much (the house and locale were perfect for what we were looking for) but would definitely recommend a boat trip around the bay. This was a real highlight and we were picked up and dropped off at the local beach. The owners Lillian and her husband were efficient and responsive and very understanding about the inevitable minor breakages! The pool and outdoor areas were cleaned every morning without us even noticing they were there. Having researched extensively, I found very few properties around the Bay of Kotor available to rent like this and so would recommend an early booking if it looks suitable for your needs.

We cannot recommend this villa highly enough. It really is a hidden gem, immaculate with the most amazing & beautiful garden, such a joy. It is walking distance to the beach & restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Don’t hesitate to book!

The villa is beautiful and had everything we needed. It is easy to get to lots of great places to visit yet in a very peaceful location. We really enjoyed our time at Morinj and hope to visit again

We spent an amazing 5 days at the villa. It was perfect, very well equipped, clean and private. The pool and gardens are stunning. We would of liked of been able to stay longer - maybe next time. The two restaurants down the lane are very good and reasonably priced. We'll definately be back.

The property is beautiful and had everything we needed. The only thing that let us down is the weather. There are many steps up to to the villa and between the villa and pool which my mother struggled with , but if it wasn’t so high up you wouldn’t have such lovely views. As we had such bad weather the pool was freezing and not really useable but Lilian did advise they are thinking of offering heating - this would have changed the holiday for the kids as it was so cold they couldn’t swim for long at all. Lilian was so helpful. We hired a car which is a must , the towns around the bay are so beautiful and the local people were incredibly friendly. Despite the rain and storms we had a lovely holiday . If the pool was heated we would visit again for sure. We loved Montenegro.

What a find! A super villa in peaceful surroundings and the best pool ever!

This is a beautiful villa and the setting is also beautiful. The area is a little crowded and it's difficult to find a beach without cars driving past. The pool area was fantastic and we had a relaxing time. The dishwasher doesn't work - apart from that, no complaints.

We had a great stay. The villa is quiet, set in beautiful gardens and with a lovely pool. While peaceful, it is a very easy and short walk down to Morinj, the local cafes, restaurants, and the beach. If you want to explore more (and there are lots of beautiful places to see) you will need a car, but driving the area is simple. We had a few of our best meals in Morinj (Sutvara £, and Catovica Mlini £££) and really enjoyed swimming down at the beach. The pool was also fantastic (though very deep so worth bearing in mind if you have small children) with beautiful views and comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas. The villa itself is spacious and has everything needed for your stay, its fittings are not new, so you do have to learn their quirks, but there are instructions and every query we had was met with a prompt and helpful response. Overall the villa is very comfortable and welcoming. The AC in bedrooms was a real plus particularly as you need to keep windows closed to avoid mosquito bites. We would very happily return.

We had a wonderful time in Villa Bay View. The welcome, the space, the beautiful garden and the wonderful pool have pleased us. There are many beautiful places to explore from Morinj. Restaurants, the beach and supermarket are within walking distance. This is a place to enjoy a holiday.

The house is in a beautiful situation, with views over to the bay. It is really well furnished and equipped and has absolutely, everything you could possibly want. The pool is nice with some shade for those like me who don't want it too hot. Lillian was really helpful. Down the road is a lovely little beach on the edge of the bay and a lovely restaurant on the waters edge. Just half an hour's easy drive from Kotor

Our second time at Bay View and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. We feel so at peace here. The surrounding area is stunning and the house is just lovely. Inside is extremely well furnished and there is everything you could possibly wish for. The house is nestled into the mountain and the outside area is just something else! what it would have been like as a child to explore every nook and cranny outside this Villa! Just a five minute walk away are three bars/ restaurants a local shop and a small supermarket. The tramontana has an absolutely stunning view of the bay and also does decent food. It's a good central location if you have a car to get to everywhere else you might wish to visit. Well worth a try! Kelly and John Hollis

Upon arrival at the villa, it honestly took our breath away - the pictures don't do it justice. It is in a quiet street, 5/10 mins by foot from the sea front, and set in a beautifully crafted outdoor garden. The pool and BBQ area is perfect and almost always in the sun (albeit a few steps down from the villa, but not a problem). The interior is fantastic, has everything you could need incl. air con, towels and some welcome groceries. Location in Morinj is perfect if you're not after a busy area. There's a couple of lovely restaurants in the town, and Verige65 (5 mins drive) is an absolute must. Kotor is only 30 mins by car and Budva an hour away. There is also an array of wildlife in the garden. Would thoroughly recommend!

What a wonderful stay in this dream villa surrounded by lush vegetation and indescribable views. Everything was perfect, the house, the pool, the barbecue, the garden, the location, the quality of the services, the on-site team was fantastic. The country is also splendid with breathtaking landscapes. We highly recommend !!

Superb property, really well stocked with the essentials for a welcoming arrival and met by the lovely Lillian who made sure we had everything we needed. Lovely property, great views and great pool. It's just a short walk to a couple of nice restaurants near the water and a small shop. We stayed for four nights with 3 adults and 2 small kids. Would definitely recommend the property to anyone, and hope to go back one day!

Bayview Villa is the most fantastic place to stay, no expense has been spared with regard to fixtures and fittings, it had everything you could possibly need and more. The gardens were beautiful and so was the pool. It's conveniently located, there are lots of restaurants to choose from, all serving very high quality food at reasonable prices, the local wine is excellent! Vujadin looked after our booking and was very helpful, he organised a hire car for us which was waiting at the airport when we landed, everything was so easy! I would definitely recommend Bayview Villa to anybody, it's amazing!

The villa is so beatiful and extremely well equiped. The pictures do not do justice to the property and I can honestly say that my jaw dropped when I entered the property!! It is a perfect holiday hideaway and we had the most relaxing time. Communication between us and the owner worked really well before our arrival. Thank you Vujadin and Lillian for everything. We will definatelly return some day!!

We stayed for four nights as a family of five including three adult children. The house itself was a delight - a lovely design accompanied by mature gardens and with the added joy of the swimming pool and a view over the trees to the bay. The location worked very well for us. We came in our own car and we were very glad to be based in the calm and quiet of Morinj after experiencing the craziness of the traffic around Kotor town just once. An unexpected bonus arose on our first evening when we walked to the nearest restaurant just a few minutes down the road (Kodoba Catovica Mlini) which only later we discovered was rated as one of the best restaurants in Montenegro by our guidebook. We used the house as our base for exploring around the bay traveling to Lustica Peninsula by car, renting a boat from Herceg Novi to explore the Blue Grotto (hint: go around 5:00pm and you may have the place to yourself), and taking the amazing back road from Kotor to Lovcen Park. We even went further afield and did a long day trip to Durmitor National Park and Piva Canyon. It was great to come back to the house at the end of each day for a refreshing evening swim in the pool. Lilian and Raden together made sure that everything about the house worked perfectly and gave us both a warm welcome and a great send-off. Overall we absolutely enjoyed everything about this house and highly recommend it for anyone considering staying in the Kotor Bay Area. Just one detail to note. Currently payment is only possible through bank transfer in GBP to a U.K. bank. Given that we are not based in the U.K. and don't currently have a U.K. bank account ourselves, this took a bit more work and incurred some extra bank charges than would have been the case with a simple credit card payment. But we enjoyed the house so much and the great hospitality that this was a small price to pay. Also, presumably this is just an issue for the few non-UK based customers of Owners Direct like ourselves.
