The apartment is lovely, and the view from the balcony amazing. Our host's father averted a potential disaster. Our host was away and we were to phone his father and meet him at the property. But, when we phoned, the dad did not seem to understand us and a stranger we snagged at the Tourist Info spoke Italian for us and got the dad to understand we would meet him at the property. The host had given his dad the wrong day! The apartment had not been cleaned. Fortunately, the previous people had left so all was not lost. The cleaners came in. The dad drove us to the grocery store and brought us back. He gave us eggs and wine. He felt terrible. What could have been a disaster was saved by our host's dad for which we are very grateful. Communication with our host DURING THE RENTAL PROCESS was fine, but our host's error could have spelled disaster.

Wir gehabend unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Lage ist toll, um Bozen und die Umgebung zu erkunden. Durch den großen Balkon könnten wir auch die sonnigen Tage noch schön genießen, gleichzeitig waren wir schnell im Zentrum mit Gastronomie und bei den Winzern. Der Empfang war nett und die Abwicklung unkompliziert. Wir können die Ferienwohnung empfehlen. Etwas dünn war die Ausstattung teils bei Besteck und Geschirr. Vier Teelöffel für 5 Personen ist etwas dünn ;-)

This splendid apartment is very large, airy, bright, comfortable in all aspects, well-equipped, perfectly located, and with a breathtaking view all around. My party of four (couple + 2 friends) could not have been more “at home” during our stay. We felt that the apartment and its charms were equal to the awe-inspiring setting of the Dolomite mountains. The location of the apartment is one of its finest features, as it is in a very quiet and lovely residential neighborhood, within an easy 10-15 minute walk to the old center through a very beautiful park. The owner Thomas was extremely easy to communicate with, and his father Alois ,who met our party and oriented us to the apartment, could not have been nicer. He even brought over his own bicycle to my husband for our stay. In addition, due to a medical emergency for my husband that landed him in the (superb) Bolzano hospital, Thomas and his father responded with deeply appreciated kindness to our desperate request to stay another night and leave late in the morning for my husband’s sake. It is a mark of the excellence of this apartment and its hosts that even with the rather terrifying health emergency our group experienced, every one of us carried away only the most positive and appreciative feelings about our stay in Bolzano. We all want to return to spend more time in this awe-inspiring area and in this particular splendid apartment.

Mooi appartement, prachtig uitzicht, in rustige buurt, toch vlakbij het leuke centrum van de stad. Tijdens de wandeling naar de stad over de boulevard door het park, veel sport en recreatie mogelijkheden, erg leuk om te zien. Wij hadden 6 racefietsen bij ons, die konden perfect in de garage beneden. Fietspaden waren ideaal om Bolzano uit te komen.

Our family loved being able to walk down to restaurants and to other tourist sights. The parking spot was large enough to park a van. Location, location!

It is large, but cozy. Only a short walk from shops and restaurants. The property has a large balcony, great views of its beautiful surroundings and delightful hosts.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in dem großen Apartment. Sehr schön ist der große Balkon, praktisch sind die Parkmöglichkeiten für zwei Autos. Die Nähe zur Talferpromenade ist günstig, um schnell mal noch mit den Kleinen zum Spielen zu gehen, während die anderen z.B. kochen. Alles prima!

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr gut gelegen (zentral und doch ruhig. Der Sonnenbalkon war ideal für die ersten Sonnenstunden im Jahr.

This apartment is spacious, comfortable, clean, and It's only a short walk into the centre of town. The town of Bolzano was surprisingly active with lots going on and with lots of great restaurants and night life spots. Thanks to our hosts for a hassle free and enjoyable stay.

The host was great, very service minded. The terrace is terrific, sun most of the day. 300 m walk down to city center is also very convenient. Bolzano has so much to offer and isn extremely well organized for tourists. Biking path longs distances out from the city to wine areas.

The quiet neighborhood,the proximity to the park,relaxing on the terrace after a day of exploring beautiful Bolzano made our stay enjoyable; however,the sleeping arrangements were a challenge for seven adults. I would certainly recommend a stay here,for a smaller group.

Schöne Wohnung mit großem Balkon. Leider konnten wir diesen aufgrund der doch schon herbstlichen Witterung kaum nutzen. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, mit allem, was man braucht. Sehr ruhig gelegen, aber dennoch zentral (ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Zentrum). Traten Fragen auf, halfen die Vermieter unverzüglich. Eigene Autogarage. Da sich die Wohnung im 3. Stockwerk befindet (kein Aufzug) ist sie weniger für Gehbehinderte geeignet.

This three bedroom, 2 bath apartment was a wonderful place to stage our hiking and sightseeing holiday from. The unit was well equipped, very spacious, clean and quiet. A 10 minute walk to the central core of Bolzano took us to all the sights and great restaurants. Our only complaint was that we were unable to use a credit card to pay the final payment on arrival - had we known this in advance we would have been prepared with cash.

Mit ihren 3 Schlafzimmern bietet diese großzüge Wohnung ausreichend Platz, um sich wohl zu fühlen. Die Ausstattung lässt nichts zu Wünschen übrig. Hervorzuheben ist auch der großzüge Balkon, auf dem man sich angenehm niederlassen kann. Auch hierfür ist ausreichend Ausstattung vorhanden. Zu Fuß ist das Stadtzentrum sehr leicht zu erreichen, auch zu Bushaltestellen ist es nicht weit. Der Grünstreifen am Talferbach entlang, der nur wenige Meter von der Wohnung entfert ist, bietet allen Altergruppen einen entspannenden und kommunikativen Treffpunkt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können diese Wohnung nur empfehlen.

Great setup for a small group. Fun to cook and live, especially with the balcony. Happy to have stayed there.

My family (6 adults, spanning 3 generations) stayed in this spacious and beautiful apartment in late June. We loved the quiet location ~ 10 – 15 minutes from downtown Bolzano, amidst grape vines and a variety of local residences. There were lovely views, all the more enjoyable from the large wrap-around veranda. The weather was hot and sunny during our stay, so we breakfasted on the veranda, in the nicely appointed eating area. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, the bathrooms clean and modern, and the wash machine a nice bonus. The flat is on the top floor, so there are 3 flights of stairs to reach it, but these are not a problem for any but the elderly or disabled. Our only suggestions are that the apartment be equipped with fans, especially in the bedrooms during the hot summer period, as we found it uncomfortable to sleep without any cooling equipment. Also, there was some confusion about our payment, which had been made through Homeaway well before our visit; while this was confirmed subsequently, it was awkward to be asked about it on two occasions – perhaps a better form of record keeping would be helpful. We certainly would recommend this apartment, and would choose it ourselves if we return to lovely Bolzano, which we found to be a wonderful destination – historically & culturally fascinating and recreationally a real treat! The food and residents were also memorable and well worth a return visit!

The apartment was wonderfully laid out for us and our four young children and we would definitely stay again when we return to Bolzano. We spent a little over a week here, and the location was perfect for a visit to Bolzano and the surrounding area. Only 10 minutes walk from the old town, there was no need to drive anywhere unless you were leaving the city. The apartment overlooks some beautiful vineyards in a quiet area just north of the old town area, with a wonderful outdoor deck. Extremely clean and well-kept, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, in the bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms. We loved the layout...easy to move around and between the bedrooms to the open kitchen/living room, but segregated enough that you felt like you had a lot of space. The river and big park next to the river are only 10 minutes away as well, and we went there many times with the kids. We would highly recommend this place for families with kids.

We had a lovely week in Bolzano. The flat is well situated and in a very quiet location. We walked in every day into the town centre - 10 mins only. We did lots of day trips in the surrounding area - the scenery is breathtaking and we even went to Venice! I would recommend this flat to all of my friends.
