The property is on three levels, and is quite large. It has three bedrooms, two balconies, and a rooftop deck. Unfortunately, there is no view of the sea from any of them. The complex fronts the road along the sea, but this property is close to the back of the complex. Great location to walk to the beach, or to catch the buses to other beaches. The host met us on arrival, and showed us what we needed to know about the property. Lots of restaurants close by, but a good 10 - 15 minute walk to the Supermarket
The place is dated, and the furniture and other items are somewhat cluttered

Très bon emplacement en face de la plage et de l'arrêt de bus. nombreux restorants et commerces juste à côté. Excellent rapport qualité-prix notamment pour famille (peut acceueillir 6 personnes). Deux salles de bains. Bien équipé (lave linge, parasol, etc.). Hôte accueillant et flexible sur les horaires.
Les fourmis (elles sont vraiment partout). La cabine de douche à l'étage a besoin d'être nettoyée en profondeur ou changée. La vue depuis la terrasse n'est pas dégagée (idem pour les fenêtres des chambres). Certains vieux meubles devraient être évacués du séjour. La déco.

This was an exceptional value for money option in a fantastic location with an owner who only wanted to help all the time. I don’t think the description on Booking.com does it justice and when you actually book it, it misleads you into thinking that you have booked a much smaller apartment when the reality is this is a detached house on four levels in a gated street for just six houses, three each side with a double/triple garage at its base, a spacious living space - lounge dining and kitchen areas plus shower/toilet and small balcony on first floor; and then three double bedrooms each with remote controlled effective air conditioning, a second shower room & toilet and then a third separate toilet and a balcony with table and chairs and finally a rooftop space for simply gazing at the stars or sunbathing. The house was well equipped and stocked and we personally needed for nothing. The back gate leads on to the costal road and when you cross that you are literally on the white sands of Flic en Flac beach and an array of restaurants to suit all tastes line the coastal road all the way up to the well stocked supermarket and ATM. Given how quickly the sunset, and given that we chose to eat in pretty regularly, I really appreciated the large screen TV with BBC world news, French and Bollywood subtitled channels for a bit of downtime before bed!
So the only downside was the jaded state of the house and the “cleanliness” but when you think that this property would have worked out at £5 pnpp (if 6 people had been sharing) I am not sure that we could have expected anything better. On arrival, Sunny told us that cleaning had not been included in the price but he could arrange it if we needed it for a fee. Given that his communications before arrival were made in good time whic brought great reassurance to me personally, I would have liked to have been given this option in advance BUT having done a deep clean myself I am now not convinced that it could have been made to look much cleaner (except possibly the bath mats which I scrubbed and put in the washing machine) because the main problems was the shoddy repair jobs which seemed to attract dust and particularly the state of the mould ridden sealant around the base of each shower. I personally think if these were improved, if the dusty ornamentation, mats and rusting items eg vegetable rack and bathroom shelving and dilapidated items of furniture etc were removed (which weren’t really needed), this property in a minimalist form could be a veritable palace!
My only other criticism would be about the directions and access. Although Sunny put himself out in the end to come and rescue us late on our arrival night, I think all of this could have been avoided if the directions were simplified (I am going to email Sunny some suggestions) and the security code to the key had been provided a couple of hours in advance while we still had access to WiFi (at the airport). Given that Sunny can actually padlock the building, he could still prevent access in advance without withholding this information until the point of arrival. Still we are very grateful to him for his great willingness to be flexible in other ways and his constant concerns for our welfare. So despite these points, I would certainly return without hesitation again. 😊

The house has everything, even more rooms and bathrooms that the two of us really needed :-) At first, house does not look "too shiny" but is really more than fully functional.
- two bigger fans at the ground floor would be more useful.
- the procedure of getting a key from the lock box is fine, but it could be explained in writing before arrival - most guests will understand it :-) The current procedure is that the host will interactively explain what to do while you are standing in front od the key box. Which is not very comfortable, especially when it rains.

A lot of space for what you pay. Three double bedrooms, spacious living room and functional kitchen. Fantastic open terrace for a glass of wine and a spot of star gazing. Host Sunny is very accommodating and quick to help.
Not exactly prime grade accommodation, but for the good points as pointed out, who cares!. Those kitchen knives could do with a sharpen though...

There were no breakfast included. But a great breakfast place next door. The location is very good for the beach and shops. Facilities was very close to the property. The host was excellent and very friendly.
The noise from Friday night to Sunday was very hard to sleep. The construction during the day started very early but most of the time we were out just to avoid it. The place needs some modernisation. it was more like a Air BNB.

The place was very nice and well equipped. It's across the beach. From the balcony we can beach. Lots of restaurants, clubs, and shops surrounded the place. Will go back again next year.
