Dog Friendly, Cosy Fisherman's Cottage Within 150 Metres Of A Long Sandy Beach
Sandy Cottage est une demi originale milieu des années 1800 détaché maison de pêcheur. Récemment rénové, il jouit d'un emplacement central dans la partie ancienne du village de Caister, environ 150 mètres de la plage et des dunes de sable tranquille (plage chien amical toute l'année). La pêche est populaire sur la plage locale, avec une bonne sélection de différentes espèces d'être pris tout au long de l'année. Vues de la Station Life Boat Caister et une vue partielle sur la mer peut être vu à partir de la fenêtre de la chambre avant. Avec stationnement hors rue pour 2 véhicules sur une allée de gravier à l'avant de la maison il ya aussi beaucoup de places de stationnement supplémentaires sur la route sur le côté de la propriété. Le pub et la puce magasin le plus proche est situé à environ 150 mètres avec plusieurs autres pubs, restaurants, traiteurs et magasins à 5-10 minutes à pied. Le château entouré de douves Caister et le magnifique parc national de Norfolk Broads sont tout de suite une très courte distance en voiture, vous donnant la possibilité d'explorer les Broads et faire de la pêche à bord de votre propre croiseur Broads que vous pouvez louer pour une journée à partir de l'un des nombreux peut-être chantiers locaux. La cathédrale de la ville de Norwich est situé à 30 minutes en voiture. Avec son château, de nombreuses attractions historiques et des boutiques interminables restaurants et divertissements, votre sûr de trouver quelque chose pour tout le monde. La station balnéaire de Great Yarmouth est à seulement 3 miles avec de bonnes liaisons de transports publics (bus toutes les 10 minutes). Si vous aimez les lumières clignotantes des arcades sur le front de mer, profiter de quelques tours de jointures blanches ou sont à la recherche d'une certaine vie nocturne alors sa vaut bien une visite. Il accueille également un centre commercial, l'hippodrome, golf et Chien / Banger Racing Stadium. Clean, well equipped cottage with enclosed courtyard ideal for our grandchildren and dog.
Very close to sandy dog friendly beach and near the Caister life boat. Excellent cafe and shop in the visitor centre.
Would certainly return again a good base for exploring the area by bus or car.

Although we managed with 5 adults 1 child and an infant I would suggest only 4 adults. House was well equipped and perfect location for the beach. Owners were outstanding as they returned items we had left, including an iPhone charger.

Lovely house, very clean and tidy, and has an upstairs bathroom which is a massive bonus in this area!
Kitchen has all things you will need, plenty of cutlery, plates, glasses etc. Plenty of towels, although the bath towels could be a little larger! TV's in every room which is a nice touch. Nice little courtyard garden with table & chairs.
Nice takeaways nearby, Brilliant fish & chips was good.
Thoroughly enjoyed our week and will definitely look to book this house again.

Fab property located a few minutes from a beautiful beach and in walking distance of shops and pubs.
The property had everything we needed and more. There is a upstairs and downstairs bathroom and the showers in them were great!

Great location to beach shops and pubs. Comfortable house everything you need, but the Staircase is very steep and narrow so not suitable for everyone.
The court yard garden had a lovely sunny aspect, but needed sweeping daily , also the Barbecue was very rusty , as pointed out by previous reviews so we didn’t use it. On the whole we enjoyed our stay

Our second visit and our long weekend was even better than last year. Lots of lovely little touches around the cottage. Location is perfect being just a couple of hundred yards from an amazing beach. Dog friendly pubs and cafe virtually on your doorstep Cottage is spotlessly clean on arrival and really comfortable. We will definitely book again for next year.

This house was just perfect. A real home from home with everything we needed. Lovely and clean and well equipped with plenty of storage and secure. We were a group of 4 adults, 2 children and a dog and there was plenty of room for us all. The local amenities had everything we needed just a short walk away. And the beach was literally at then end of the road.

Comfortable and well appointed cottage,not far from the beach.Has a small back yard with table and chairs,plus a barbecue which unfortunately was extremely dirty and rusty,so no body would be able to use.Otherwise we had a very pleasant stay.

Brilliant location and lovely home
Great location and lovely place to stay. Nothing is missing in the kitchen, in fact it had more in it than my own home! we had 4 adults, 2 children and a dog staying and it felt quite spacious.
The WiFi is strong so I could work remotely whilst the others walk 2mins to the beach.

Weekend break
The cottage was lovely, attention to detail was obvious throughout. From hand sanitiser in the hall to TV's in every room. Nothing was missed. A full drawer of every kitchen utensil you could want, plenty of cutlery. Tea towels, dishwasher tabs, toilet rolls in each bathroom, even a decent sized BBQ. All in all very homely and very comfortable. We took our two dogs, who were very welcome too.
The location is perfect. 2 minutes to the sandy beach. Two pubs within a 2 min walk in either direction. Another pub about 5 mins away. A lovely restaurant called Branfords, only 10 mins walk away and also dog friendly.
Would highly recommend a stay in this cottage :)

Fine stay
This house is in an idea location. Parking proved a little tricky with two family sized cars but we managed it.
Mostly had everything we needed apart from a hairdryer, possibly could be one but we didn’t come across it. Dishwasher came in handy. There were four adults and two teenagers but we didn’t feel all on top of each other, and made good use of the space. Having the downstairs toilet/ shower room was really useful.
Overall we enjoyed our week.

Lovely clean well equipped cottage in good location. Everything you need for a relaxing stay and the dogs and us enjoyed the miles of almost empty beaches, whilst only being a short drive from Great Yarmouth. Very helpful communication from the owners. Highly recommended.

Lovely clean property with excellent decoration reflecting its seaside location. Comfortable beds and really well equipped with everything needed. Beach, seaside walks, nice pub and local shops all within a few minutes. Welcoming pre-stay information sent by owner was much appreciated. Excellent location
A great little cottage, had absolutely everything we needed and location near to the beach and centre of caister was great. Owners were helpful with recommendations of restaurants before our arrival. Off-street parking was useful but we didn’t even need to use the car for the first few days. We found some lovely walks directly from the cottage and it was near enough to Norwich for a walk on a rainy day. The location is really close to the broads too. Would recommend for great walks and friendly local pubs.

Lovely cottage by the beautiful Norfolk coast
We enjoyed a relaxing few days in this comfortable cottage, which is a few strides away from the beautiful beach. We visited in October when the weather wasn't great but it didn't stop us getting our walking boots out to explore the coastal path and it's a short drive from the broads for a day out too.
Covid-19 restrictions and rain meant that we spent more time at the cottage than we would normally have chosen to but it was well equipped and comfortable so was also enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this cottage.
