My wife, daughter and grand daughter visited the Charlotte area for a wedding and found Stuarts place ideal for our 4 night stay. The house is very well equipped, as well as the fridge with condiments. The property is beautiful, peaceful and serene and unfortunately we were not able to take full advantage of the property as we were kept quite busy. We would not hesitate to stay at this location any time we are visiting the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We enjoyed our stay. We loved the country feel but able to access everything Charlotte had to offer. Would love to book again if we stay in the Charlotte area again!

Owner significantly misrepresents home. Does not tell you that Every Single Day they use the back of the home, big glass sun room, as an office. Owner Maria arrives 8AM and wakes you up by going into side door outside your bedroom window. Then she goes onto your deck to prepare the Public Bathroom for people visiting the farm. She goes back and forth all day long closing doors and making noise until 5-6PM. The thin glass doors to the Office are literally 10 feet from the couch in the TV room. Everyone clearly hears everything in both directions. You can never have a private conversation inside the home or relax anytime or use your deck. She used the deck 5-6 times a day walking in front of the TV room window. Strange people walking on your deck, using Public Bathroom, looking at you on the couch as they walk by window. 90 percent of deck directly faces the Owner's all-glass sunroom Office where they walk out, strangers come on deck via stairs or from the Office. We finally left a day early. Friday was the worst, 5 cars pulled up next to the other side of the house. By 9AM two teenage girls were on the deck, used the bathroom, then looked at us through window (The bathroom is built into the house mudroom. Super thin wall, everyone very clearly hears all conversations and sounds both ways if you are doing laundry or simply sitting at the Kitchen table. Then a woman came later, then Maria, then another girl etc.... Around 11AM, they started a party/lunch in the Office, really loud. Owners know exactly what they are doing by not telling you it is a Home Sharing situation, if people knew, No One would rent. Very Dishonest. Don't know why it received some 5 stars unless the renters just wanted to focus upon maybe being able to come back some day and pet horses again with kids? Ask Owners, they will not deny anything I have written. We have rented over 25 VRBO homes in 10 years. All were great except this house. Be Honest. In the first sentence of the description you need to tell the truth and tell people it is not a private home but instead a Home Sharing with the Owners, Every Single Day, and you have Strangers walking on your deck using the attached Public Bathroom. Really??? Do not rent this older house. Significant Cleanliness issues and absolutely Zero Privacy.

My family really enjoyed our stay here on this beautiful property! We stayed here for a week while we were closing on our home. I would recommend this place to anyone! Incredibly friendly owners! Felt right at home.

Everything was just as described in the description. The house is very homey and inviting. The area is almost rural but with everything you might need just minutes away. The owners are quite friendly and helpful and you might even get to meet the horses! Highly recommended.

My family can in from out of town for Christmas and stayed here. We are so excited when we pulled up and there were Christmas lights decorating the outside of the house, and even decorations and a small tree inside. It made it feel like home right away. The house had everything we could need and all the basics in the kitchen. It is also conveniently located. There is a grocery store less than 5 minutes away and 485 is just down the road so it's easy to get anywhere in Charlotte. I would definitely recommend!

A nice roomy home in a great location, comfortable beds, quiet country setting with trees and horses. Great to work with owners. Minutes to everything..shopping, parks, Mint Hill, Matthews, Charlotte, Monroe.

We were warmly greeted by the owner upon arrival. The house was perfect! It was adorably decorated and the huge deck was great for a small get together of family and friends for a BBQ! We hope to be able to rent the house many times in the future!

This is a great place that gives one access to the city from a country atmosphere. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Charlotte area

Our group could not have been happier with this property and the owners! We come to Charlotte every year for a music festival and will definitely stay here again. The home is just that....a home. Interior is beautifully decorated and the location is quiet with an amazing setting. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay!
