Charming Lake Sunapee & Mt. Sunapee Ski Cabin

This property was perfect for us -- cute, comfortable, easy. The owner was attentive and available for anything we needed. The property is located on a lovely block leading to Lake Sunapee and near the State Beach and Mount Sunapee Ski Mountain that has a lot to do in the summer. I highly recommend staying here!

Two week ski vacation
My husband and I decided to rent a house since my kids were remote learning last Winter. We had such a wonderful stay!! Greg and Kristen’s place is only a 3 minute drive to sunapee. The house was clean, quaint and the kids loved having bunk beds. I highly recommend renting!

Rental was very nice and as advertised. Great place near the lake and within walking distance to the beach. Parking was a little tight but otherwise no complaints.

Peaceful, beautiful and adventurous!
We had a FABULOUS time staying at this extremely roomy, beautiful home on the lake. It is placed right around the corner from the Sunapee State Park allowing for summer swimming, boating, hiking, zip lining or winter skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, and snowmen. We rented the boat they listed for rent and went to a restaurant on the lake for dinner one night. The views are STUNNING! At night, walk down to the dock, (3 houses down from this house: easy walk with nice people if you bump into any. We met a neighbor) ...anyway, go to the dock and look at the stars - the Milky Way lights up the sky and it is memorizing! The house itself was much larger than what we expected. The master is surrounded by windows so you can enjoy the awesome NH sunrise. We used this house as our hub as we spent a week looking for our permanent NH home. It was perfect! New London is 15 minutes away (great little town that you could spend a day milling around in). Lakes, hiking trails, little shops...it’s all within minutes of this home. Or, just sit in the quiet and enjoy the peace and serenity it offers.
Everything worked great, we brought our dog, Maui, who made it her own while we were there. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice of houses to rent. And, for the area, excellent price!
A couple of things to keep in mind but not negatives. It is a short walk to the dock...about 3 houses down and the houses are very close to each other. We only saw one person. LOL Also, AT&T cell service does not work in the Sunapee area. If you have it, make sure you can make data calls or just enjoy being unplugged.
The host was fabulous! We had trouble getting into the house. It’s a smart lock and, with no service, that became a problem. He was on it immediately and we were in within minutes! We also asked to stay an additional day and they were accommodating and easy to work with so we could. Kitchen has everything you need if you wanted to stay in and cook. We grilled outside two nights out of the 6.
If you are looking for a central point, a wonderful space to call home while you’re away, we say this is the place. I know I sound over the top. But, when reading up on where to stay I read everyone’s comments so I can make a wise decision when it comes to renting from others. This was an awesome experience and we feel it should be known so others can make an educated choice. Have fun in NH!!! We LOVE it!

Close to lake
While it was a very short walk to the lake, there were so many houses along the street and in front and behind us that there was no view. It did feel like folks could see in every window. A good fix would be to have drapes that open and close and shut out the 5 am morning light. Perhaps the best time to visit would be when the lake is warmer for swimming.

Great place and perfect location
My wife and I had a great winter vacation at this house with our dog. It was on a very quiet road only about 4 minutes from mount sunapee and only like 100 feet from the water where we were able to get on to ice fish. The house was very spacious and probably the cleanest rental we have stayed in with everything u could possibly need. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay near sunapee

Great location, wonderful hosts.
The lake house property was located in a wonderful central location, with easy access to Lake Sunapee and Mt. Sunapee state parks. The property was very clean and well stocked with guest linens and amenities. The house had ample room for my family of 6. Greg and Kristin were wonderful hosts, who graciously allowed my family to rent the property with last minute notice during a week they weren't anticipating having renters. They were very responsive to all questions. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying at this property, and would happily stay again myself!

Quintessential New England Experience!
We had an amazing vacation staying at this lovely cottage that is just steps away from the lake! The water was perfect and we spent many lazy lake days just floating in inner tubes drifting along the shore. Greg and Kristin were the perfect hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed and provided us with a fantastic lists of local shops, grocery stores, movie theaters, bait and tackle shops, and the best local breakfast places to enjoy!
The neighbors were also awesome and super friendly! I can't say enough good things about this wonderful cottage. If you are looking for the quintessential New England summer experience, this is the place!
My family and I will treasure our memories for years to come!
Thank you Greg and Kristin!
