The property was beautiful, could not fault it, the problem was arriving late as advised I couldn’t get into the property with the combination key lock. Fortunately a friend of a friend had a telephone number for someone who did maintenance. He came out at 11.15 to get in . The telephone number had no option to help us. Otherwise it was a beautiful room.

No assistance when something went wrong as it did for us .

Spacious room and bathroom, excellent (shared) kitchen facilities of very high standard.

Sausages at breakfast not well cooked (at least not to me, despite asking for evenly cooked on 2nd morning).

Set in the grounds of the Castle, our room overlooked the River Teifi. The Room was compact, but had everything we needed for our two night stay. On site parking was great, so was the lovely breakfast which was included. The Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The local shops and restaurants are right on the doorstep. I would recommend Cardigan Castle and would happily visit again.

The shower didn't have a lot of pressure, only a minor point.

just a few cob webbs, and one of the sky blinds would no shut. which let a lot of morning light in x could do with blackout blinds x

Breakfast was ok, not many options

It was difficult at night bringing up luggage and trying to negotiate the gates

Excellent breakfast, polite ,friendly and helpful staff , accommodation was spot on , lovely and clean , great location as you walk straight onto the main Cardigan shopping street through the castle gates

Could of had tea / coffee / kettle in room maybe

Delightful small cottage like studio appartment. Quite spacious and well planned and tastefully furnished . A neat eating and cooking area. Small kitchen which when closed looked like a Welsh dresser. Lovely restful gardens and direct foot access to main street. Appartment had private forecourt with table, chairs and brolly. Shower room very spacious and well appointed. Great breakfast at restaurant. Very helpful staff at reception/shop. Very good value for money paid.

Parking facilities took a while to get used to. Approach gates quite narrow and number code needed for access. Unfortunately we had an overnight emergency. Car park had no night lighting which delayed our leaving for the hospital. Plus no staff to help in an emergency over night.

Location ,cleanliness ,nice well mannered people lovely friendly restaurant and best of all the host .

Nothing I didnt like would be handy if had a cooker though xx
