We had a wonderful stay in Maine. Location is beautiful and Misty, our host was exceptional. The apartment has a fun decor and is well equipped with all of the basic necessities—as well as some thoughtful welcoming amenities. We would definitely stay there again if we come back to this area.

We had the best stay. Misty is an awesome host and gave us a lot of ideas for restaurants and things to do. We had the best view and loved watching the seals and eagles. The studio was perfect to come back and relax at after our long days out and had everything we needed. Annie was an added bonus, just loved visiting with her. Thank you again, we can’t wait to come back!!

This place is a gem. Clean, funky, quiet. The host Misty is a very attentive to detail and comfort. Her co-host Annie is a beautiful young dog who will make you smile!

Misty was a terrific host and shared knowledge of the area and where to go. The house is in a beautiful bay with bald eagles that fly over. Kayaking was relaxing. Would definitely go back.

Misty is as good of a host as we’ve ever encountered. Provides lots of suggestions and recommendations. The apt has everything you could think of. Bed is ridiculously comfortable and property was beautiful. No regrets here - wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

We had a great stay! The views are absolutely beautiful.
We enjoyed a great nature show one night with seals, eagles and Ospry doing some fishing right near the dock! The location is nicely situation between Bar Harbour and the Schoodic side of Acadia. We enjoyed both. The lodging was very nice - nicely decorated, clean, cozy, and perfect for the two of us. Misty was a very welcoming host. Everything was great!

We loved this studio apartment. It had everything we needed and the views are breathtaking. It was a great home base to visit Schoodic peninsula, Bar Harbor, Stonington and more. To come home every evening to these views was amazing. We kayaked across Flanders Bay. Misty was amazing and I know we would be good friends if we lived near. Annie her Golden retriever is so sweet and was nice to have her since our dog could not
come on this trip. Would definitely stay again.

Misty’s place is a dream. The location is stunning. We enjoyed sitting out in the backyard and looking out at the Bay. It’s clean and cute, stocked with everything you might need. Misty and her dog Annie were kind and welcoming. She provided great hiking and dining recommendations. Our only regret is not booking more time! Thank you, Misty!

We took a 3rd baby moon to Maine and our stay was beyond wonderful! Misty was very helpful and kind throughout the whole process. The room is cute and homey and offers private seclusion with beautiful ocean views. My wife and I spent time cooking, laying around, and enjoying the waterfront when we weren’t exploring Acadia. Thank you again Misty and we look forward to the next time.

You know you are in the right vacation rental when your views from the rental are as good as what you see at some of the most popular tourist attractions! I can’t brag enough on this space and the hospitality of the owner, Misty.
Very comfortable king size bed. Great views from the breakfast table, which doubled as our rummy-playing table each night. You are close enough to enjoy Bar Harbor but far enough away for tranquility. We really enjoyed the very close Schoodic side of Acadia. (Beautiful sites and much less crowded.)
Misty’s suggestions for food were spot on. We especially loved fresh lobster on the wharf in Corea.
The bonus for this beautiful vacation rental is Annie, the sweetest Golden Retriever. I am mot really a “dog-person” but found myself calling for her in the yard. She is so friendly!

This is a charming place to stay with the most gorgeous view . Everything was top notch ! The bed was comfortable , nice seating arrangement , and all the necessities needed for our stay . Misty is an incredible host . We can’t say enough about how welcoming she was and helpful in guiding us with our visit to Acadia and the surrounding area.

Misty and Annie (her dog) were the perfect hostesses. The accommodations were perfect and so peaceful. Amazing sunsets and recommendations from Misty were so appreciated. It is off the beaten path and a great place to recharge, watch a sunset and sleep for the next day’s adventure.

We have never stayed in a more beautiful location than this. From the back yard, which is completely open to guests, you can see Bar Harbor, Cadillac Mountain, tidal changes, and sunsets. From this location we visited Acadia National Park, Schoodic Peninsula and Schoodic Mountain, and made a road trip all the way to Lubec/Calais on the Canadian border. Our host Misty was very welcoming and helpful and co-host Annie (the golden retriever) was always happy to see us. The apartment was comfortable and private and we enjoyed coffee every morning while looking out at the bay. Our week passed too quickly. We would not hesitate to return.

Misty was warm and accommodating from the minute we arrived until our departure. The apartment was clean and well appointed with everything we needed. The views are amazing! We enjoyed watching the sunset each evening and it was a thrill to see Bald Eagles flying overhead. The property is located conveniently close enough drive to to Acadia and Bar Harbor. We also enjoyed the short drive to Winter Harbor and Schoodic point. We wish we had more time to enjoy the bikes and kayaks that Misty provides. We would 100% recommended this property and will definitely return if possible!

I cannot say enough good things about this property and the owner, Misty. She is by far one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She was so helpful and accommodating. Don't be worried that the rental and her house are on the same property. You have plenty of privacy. But you also have the comfort of knowing she's there if you need anything at all or have any questions. She is beyond sweet, even gave us a bottle of wine for our anniversary and ice cream on our last night there. Her dog Annie is the best, wish i could have taken her home with us! As for the house it's literally on the water. We sat out and watched the waves and seals every night. The sunsets are gorgeous. There are kayaks there to use as well. It's just minutes from Acadia on the Schoodic side which in our opinion was the best side. Schoodic point is a MUST SEE. It's about 40 minutes from the actual town of Bar Harbor, give or take depending on traffic. Bar Harbor is extremely crowded in the summer. So we were just fine being a little bit away from the congestion and crowds. You'll find everything you need on route 1 in one direction or another and Misty is very helpful with all that kind of information. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property. Would love to go back sometime ourselves! Thanks so much for everything Misty and Annie!

I cannot say enough good things about this property and our host, Misty! The apartment was beautiful and so comfortable. The view was amazing. And Misty made sure we had everything we needed to have a fantastic stay (including great recommendations on what to see in the area)!

Quiet studio on the bay
Misty was a fantastic host from our first interaction to our check out! We thoroughly enjoyed the waterfront view and quiet location! Lots of nearby hiking, biking, fresh seafood and views!!

Beautiful apartment in a stunning location
Wonderful place to get away from it all. Close enough to all of Acadia but still Isolated from the crowds and noise. Beautiful location, very comfortable lodging and Misty is indeed a super host.

Amazing Retreat as advertised
The property and host are absolutely amazing! The property has views in every direction you turn - the bay with Acadia Park and mountains in the background. You can see all of it from the guest house and the multiple vignettes Misty has set up for you; Adirondack chairs, hammock, and the dock. It is the perfect retreat from the various hiking/biking trails in the area or within a 30+ minute drive. It is situated perfectly near Acadia National park, Schoodic Peninsula, and Bar Harbor among others.
The guest house is extremely cozy and inviting. It has all the functionality you need while feeling like a soft, warm blanket on a cold day. Part of the reason this property is so special is because of Misty. She is not only incredibly knowledgeable about the area from trails to food and activities but she is the epitome of hospitable. You truly feel like you are her guest and she is sharing her home with you. Her dog, Annie, is just the sweetest bonus!

Great stay
We used the stay as a launch pad into Acadia. The 45 minute drive to Bar Harbor is very scenic . The view out the back sliding glass door over the bay was beautiful. The host was wonderful. Thank you!

Wonderful time on Maine coast
The studio on the water is absolutely wonderful!! After long days of hiking at nearby Arcadia, we sat outside and enjoyed the tranquil views of the water. The outdoor shower was great. Misty had helpful recommendations for nearby hikes and restaurants. One of them was The Schoodic Peninsula, which is part of Arcadia Park, was a hidden gem and very close to the studio. Great breakfast and lunch place called Gerrish in nearby "Winter Harbor."

Amazing family getaway
This was the most perfect property to wake up and go to sleep in each day before and after our adventures in Bar Harbor and Acadia National park. Spotless and well accommodated, we had everything we needed to enjoy our first post-covid cousins trip! Thank you Misty!

Beautiful, peaceful Maine getaway
It was hard to leave Misty’s wonderful spot on the bay! Waking up to quiet ocean views and strolling down to the private dock and rocky beach was the best. We brought our two dogs who were able to hike in Acadia with us and Misty even checked in on them when we were out for dinner our first night, and during our 13 mile long run around schoodic peninsula which is nearby! The apartment is private with its own views of the ocean and is furnished with lots of little things. Misty is very thoughtful :) you’ll love it!

Idyllic Acadia getaway
“Idyllic”, that’s our one-word description for this beautiful and peaceful home. The warm gentle breeze flowing off the bay mesmerized us and helped “recharge our batteries”. We appreciated use of the hammock, kayaks, bikes, and all of the “Kleinigkeiten” which made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The homeowner’s reviews, advice, and helpful tips helped make the most of our brief time here at Acadia. All-in-all we enjoyed Acadia and are feeling very lucky and grateful to have stayed here.

Stunning view!
We spent a week at Misty’s studio in Sullivan Maine while exploring Acadia National Park and we couldn’t have been happier! The stay itself was one of the highlights of our vacation. The studio was clean and beautifully decorated and the view of Flanders bay with Desert Island in the distance was stunning. Even more beautiful than the pictures!!! We were able to kayak and enjoy the peacefulness of the bay (kayaks included in stay) and even watched the seal on the rock as well as swimming while we were kayaking. There were also 2 bikes available for our use. The king bed was incredibly comfortable and we had everything we needed including coffee and breakfast/snacks that Misty left for us. The location is private and so peaceful after a day of hiking and biking. Incredible sunsets! It’s about 30-40 minute drive from Acadia National Park but only 15 minutes from the beautiful Schoodic Peninsula which is a part of Acadia that should not be missed. There were some restaurants in the area with Tracey’s seafood just down the street, best clam chowder and lobster rolls! Bar Harbor is full of restaurants, shops and cafes and we easily were able to spend time there after exploring but were very happy to retreat to our haven away from the crowds! We also spent time getting to know Misty (who gave us excellent advice on restaurants and hikes) and her beautiful puppy Annie which made our stay even more memorable. Thank you Misty and Annie! We hope to be back soon.

First Leg of Retirement Trip
What an AMAZING place. From booking to departure everything was outstanding! Not only was Misty available at all times to answer any questions she went well beyond that. She gave us wonderful suggestions for hiking, restaurants and anything we needed to help make for a perfect trip. Her home and property are beautiful and so conveniently located to Acadia and lots of other cool day trips. We even had visits from a seal that enjoyed sunning on the rocks right outside our door! Tracy’s for lobster rolls is walking distance too. We have done many Vrbo’s, this was by far the nicest. We definitely plan to return. Also loved meeting puppy Annie and Misty’s sweet “little” grandson who visited one morning.

The Whole Acadia Experience
Enjoyed the awesome views of Acadia from the Private Waterfront property with fire pit and dock. Bicycling, kayaking and hiking all inclusive. My husband and I had a wonderful experience! Would highly recommend!!
