the facilities and grounds are beautiful. gorgeous views everywhere you look and love the proximity to Taughannock Falls.

Breakfast! I have stayed here three times and have always enjoyed the continental breakfast sometimes served to table or as a buffet. but this time one individual seemed to be server and cook. Eggs, hash browns, toast…all usually delicious but this time it was cold and no butter??? Hopefully this was just an aberration but not up to the usual standards here.

Our room was spacious. It was very quiet with a beautiful view of the lake. I’m sure after the construction is finished in the main inn, it will be beautiful.

The property was under construction. The bar & restaurant were not open. The complimentary breakfast was underwhelming.

Our room was fantastic- large, comfortable, spotless and stylish decor.

we had driven 4 hours and didn’t know that bar/restaurant is closed out of season. No restaurants nearby were open either and we had no cutlery / crockery in our room so couldn’t eat in either. we had to skip our evening meal and snack on crisps and biscuits we had. we were looking forward to our breakfast at the main house ( as were hungry but when we arrived we were told there was no breakfasts as the water was off, so just coffee and a muffin! we chose the hotel for the the location which wax stunning- but also for the on-site facilities and the fact that breakfast was included, so we were a bit disappointed with our stay . I am sure in summer it is fantastic but out of season we didn’t seem like we received a great service. thanks

Locations was great. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was nice and had good variety. The waterfall is on 1 mile walkable distance. Overall satisfied with stay.

Little costly...

Decor and grounds were very impressive. Room comfortable with great view of the lake. Plenty of outlets, comfy bed and chairs. Well equipped bathroom with ample hot water and pressure. Dining room very elegant and self-serve breakfast delicious with plenty of choices, including hot items. Trail to the falls very close by, though the the water flow was not too impressive this season.

Beautiful location. Very nice staff. Gorgeous mansion. Immaculately clean.

Hard to get the heat to work in the room, so it was cold (but there was a space heater). Also, although there was a very nicely laid out continental breakfast, everything, including the eggs were cold.

Beautiful stay along Cayuga Lake and walking distance to Taughannock Falls. Wonderful staff, Wonderful breakfast. 10/10. We will be back.
